After a fatal accident, Stevan, a young man is instantly resurrected and transported to the Marvel Universe, emerging directly into the heart of the Battle of New York (The Avengers, 2012). With his rebirth, he is involuntarily gifted the complete power and mystical mantle of Doctor Fate from the DC Universe, wielding the boundless magic of the Lords of Order.
