Item System Ranking
Tier 0 – Mundane
Category: Common objects, crude weapons, everyday tools.
Examples: Rusted swords, worn leather boots, kitchen knives, wood staffs.
System Tag: [MUNDANE]
Notes: Cannot hold enchantments or blessings. Breaks easily. Can block one or two strikes or attacks
___________________________________________________________________________________
Tier 1 – Forged
Category: Properly forged weapons and armor, crafted by skilled blacksmiths.
Examples: Steel longsword, arquebus, plated cuirass, alchemical daggers.
System Tag: [FORGED]
Notes: Durable, can hold minor enchantments, but still mortal-bound.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Tier 2 – Enchanted
Category: Items imbued with runes, blood rites, or alchemy.
Examples: Flame-touched blade, shadowwoven cloak, mercury-etched pistol.
System Tag: [ENCHANTED]
Notes: Begins interacting with mana corruption; may resist decay or grant minor passive abilities.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Tier 3 – Relic
Category: Items tied to history, cults, or forgotten wars. Often unique.
Examples: Lantern of Hollowbrand Flame (Revyn's), Mask of the Veilwatchers, Bone-chime Amulet.
System Tag: [RELIC]
Notes: Possesses lingering will/memory; grants unique effects tied to its origin. May whisper to wielder.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Tier 4 – Mythic
Category: Legendary weapons, artifacts tied to the Echoes of gods, or entities beyond the veil.
Examples: Godcleaver, Spear of Lanien the Lost, Chains of the Pursuer.
System Tag: [MYTHIC]
Notes: Items are alive. They feed, evolve, or demand something from their wielder. Cannot be broken by normal means.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Tier 5 – Primordial
Category: Fragments of creation, bound fire, echoes of the first curses.
Examples: The Pale Flame, Veilshard Core, Breath of the Hollowbrand.
System Tag: [PRIMORDIAL]
Notes: Beyond mortal comprehension. Can warp reality, open the veil, or rewrite fate. Holding one corrodes sanity and soul.
___________________________________________________________________________________
There is also an Item Growth System
Some items (like Revyn's Godcleaver or the Flame Reliquary) can evolve upward in tier through blood, feeding, or unlocking memories. For example:
Forged Sword → Enchanted Sword (after devouring a cursed entity)
Relic → Mythic (after awakening its true name)
Mythic → Primordial (if merged with Pale Flame or a god's echo)
Current example for Revyn right now:
Godcleaver = [MYTHIC, evolving]
Flame Reliquary (Pale Flame fragment) = [RELIC → PRIMORDIAL vessel]

Special Note: Revyn's System Interaction
Because Revyn's Living Shadow System devours traits, he can sometimes:
Absorb the essence of consumables instead of drinking them → gaining a permanent mutation or trait.
Store consumables inside his shadow inventory → preventing spoilage.
(His shadow storage will be revealed soon)
Fuse consumables → e.g., mixing an [INFUSED BLOOD VIAL] with [CHOIR'S NECTAR] to make a higher-tier hybrid item.
