Chapter 18 - Ch XVIII Welcome to Heaven-ly Deception Finale

As soon as Charlie, Vaggie and Noctis strolled their way through the gardens of the courtyard they were at the doors of the spire and greeted by two heavily armored angels whose colors were white and gold.

"Security?" Noctis questioned with a raised eyebrow as angels of all ranks took the scenic route high in the sky.

Seeing the man and recognizing him as described by Sera earlier, both guards straightened their posture and bowed in remembrance of her warning about disrespecting

"Welcome back Lord Romna." Both guards greeted in unison with their heads low.

"Seriously?" Noctis groaned with a roll of his eyes before taking a couple of pills and popping them in his mouth.

This action did not go unnoticed by Vaggie and it concerned her while Charlie was mumbling to herself about how to handle today.

"Is it your back baby?" She asked with a tender hand to rub him while the guards took hold of the doors.

Noctis nodded before a twinge of pain contorted his face and Charlie finally noticed it.

Now she was worried.

"Love, are you okay?" She asked, wrapping her arms around his as they waited for the doors to open.

Vaggie was quick to explain while keeping out the earlier encounter.

"He says he's been hurting ever since that fragment merged with his chest."

"It wasn't this bad before." Noctis added, taking in deep breaths to control his threshold.

Charlie was worried now that Noctis shouldn't be in the trial if he was suffering, but at the same time she needed him to be present to help her when he had a plan use her as evidence.

She didn't know what to do and it made her feel guilty.

Surprisingly once the door opened though came the rush of all thoughts and even Noctis' pain subsiding when a womanly figure came leaping through the doors, happily with open arms and the biggest smile underneath her tears.

"ITS YOU!"

"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Noctis shouted just in time before he had the wind knocked out of him by this angel.

Whoever she was she wrapped her arms around the painfully exhaling man and took him off his feet as arms wrapped tightly around his chest during the initial shock of her presence.

Charlie and Vaggie weren't lucky either when this mystery angel knocked them back with her wings that flapped uncontrollably after she tackled Noctis onto the marble floor.

Both girls yelped to this surprising encounter and fortunately landed softly on their butts nut were now sharing the same confusion.

"YOU'RE BACK!" The woman cried into Noctis' chest, unaware of his wheezing .

"What the hell!?" Vaggie exclaimed angrily after shaking off the bewilderment, and scowled at the woman that was nuzzling into Noctis chest while he tried to breathe.

Charlie was quick to help Vaggie onto her feet and share the same hostility that radiated in her hair whipping around as they watched their lover be trapped.

Said woman then stood up but refused to let him go. If anything she held Noctis tighter by his head and suffocated him with her bosom that was giving the girls serious insecurities.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE BACK!"

Charlie and Vaggie were wide-eyed with disbelief and possessiveness as Noctis did finally get his breath back but was looking from his free eye to them for help.

"Help me." He mumbled as her strength started to show in how red he was getting.

Finally they snapped out of their own emotions and rushed over to stop the strawberry-blonde haired angel from crushing him with her love.

They came within inches of grabbing their lover before she suddenly changed from being a sobbing mess to some form of overly critical woman that was now looking him over and examining his body.

She spoke so hastily as Noctis was thrown in different standing position that none of them could understand.

"Are you eating enough? Did those demons hurt you? Why do you look so small now? And why aren't you keeping your hair nice and clean!?"

"Hey! Woah!" Noctis was powerless to stop the woman while his lovers were baffled again by the overprotective care this angel displayed.

"You look healthy at least." The woman stopped her crazy antics and cupped his face, almost smooshing his cheeks together.

Suddenly her crazy appearing demanor melted away to a softness of tears gushing as she stared down lovingly with a throbbing heart. She couldnt believe that he was actually back and right in front of her.

"You are still as beautiful as I remember."

The moment would have gone forever with Noctis feeling a strange calmness from this tall and curvy as she stared into his eyes, disregarding the fuming princess and fallen angel that were either frowning or clenching their teeth.

Noctis wanted to pull away but was entranced by this strange warmth that enveloped his form before the woman gave a more gentle hug that was far from what he felt before. It was almost intoxicating how she cocooned him in her arms and wings with a humming melody that made his mind calmer.

He couldn't shake it off and he didn't want to give Charlie and Vaggie the wrong idea, but this feeling had him sink into her form and hold on as the melody from her lips soothed his everything.

Until….

"Okay!" Charlie shouted to get everyone's attention.

Without warning both she and Vaggie grabbed their man by his arms before ripping him away from the surprised angel that broke her melody.

"What?" Noctis blinked repeatedly, realizing where he was while Charlie held him with Vaggie and gave the needy angel a smug raise of her chin.

"Thank you being so friendly to Noctis but he is happily spoken for." The princess said proudly but acted childish by sticking her tongue out at the now surprised woman.

It was definitely awkward with this gorgeous angel holding a hand up to chin in surprise of the two clinging to Noctis so tightly. She had not realized what would make them so defensive until it clicked to her that her presence was both abrupt and sensing mixed messages about her relationship with Noctis.

"Oh my." She breathed, but then giggled into her mouth as the trio took in her features.

Even Vaggie was a bit stunned by how stunning this angel was as she stood there in amusement of their awkward moment.

"I'm sorry." The angel continued to giggle, earning an unamsed glare from Charlie. "I seem to have misplaced your thoughts when i hugged Noctis."

Now they were very confused, raising their brows and wondering who the hell this woman really was and why she knew Noctis.

Finally she spoke with grace and elegance that was oddly loving to them.

"Allow me to introduce myself—" she paused with a tall bow as her wings spread with a sheen of pink and blue on the inside. "I am Jophiel, and I was Romna's big sister."

The trio blinked in awe of her beauty as it shimmered in the light with star-like sparkling around her form while her smile beamed with her tear stained cheeks.

"You are Noctis, correct?" She asked sweetly and stood up straight, giggling again at their goofy confused faces.

Noctis nodded slowly with the girls nust to find himself hugged instantly again by the angel.

"Oh it's good to see you are back if you aren't back."

And once again he was trapped in her bosom.

Finally the girls snapped out of their stupor but it was Vaggie who shook herself aware and hardened herself per usual before she confronted the angel.

"Hang on!" She said sharply and yanked Noctis back to Charlie who eagerly held him away from the angel.

"Yes?" Jophiel, though disheartened by the way they Noctis, kept her smile and looked down at Vaggie with a tilt of her head.

"Noctis doesn't have siblings." Vaggie pointed out with an accusatory finger. "So how can you call yourself his big sister?"

"Oh thats easy." Jophiel chuckled, and then kneeled to one knee to meet her gaze. "We aren't actually siblngs but I was Sera's most trusted to raise and nuture him when she was learning her duties as High Seraphim."

She looked back up from Vaggie to Noctis, watching with a curious as he adjusted himself by leaning to pop his already pain ridden back.

"Why are you not with Sera right now?" She asked.

"Because—" he grunted and leaned back further until there was a sickening pop that gave him relief. "I have my reasons."

"Reasons?" Jophiel gave a soft glare at that cryptic answer.

"Yeah. Reasons." Vaggie emphasized sharply with her arms crossed.

Jophiel stood up straight and moved back a step with a hand to puzzle her chin. She clicked her tongue lightly and hummed as they watched her. She stopped when she reached what her mind believed to be the conclusion that she herself remembered personally from her history.

"Have you not forgiven for the past?" She asked casually with a snap of her fingers. "Because it wasn't her fault."

All casual feeling dropped on the spot when she said that. Even Vaggie lost her hard composure as they processed the fact that she could possibly know what happened in the past.

"Wait," Charlie stepped forward with a concerned look. "You know Sera killed him in his previous life?"

"Charlie." Vaggie hissed in warning of the princess blowing their cover while Noctis facepalmed.

"We are fucked." He grumbled.

It was thanks to Charlie asking the angel that a new suspicion came about from the angel.

Jophiel was about to answer until a worrisome thought crossed her mind and she paused to look around the courtyard for any signs of ears listening. Her entire posture stiffened with her softness now a firm glare as the trio tried to make heada or tails of her randomness.

Finally she looked back down at them and whispered. "Not here. Come with me."

"What?" Noctis said but was left with only more confusion, as she had taken his hand and dragged him back inside the building.

Charlie and Vaggie gave eachother worried looks before they rushed inside to follow their stumbling lover, watching him be dragged almost through the halls by Jophiel.

They had been led to a private office and with the angel yanking him inside before she looked back out the door to the east and west halls.

"Damn." He grumbled while rubbing his wrist as the girls watched her act so mysterious.

His eyes widened with fear and apprehension when Jophiel closed the door and the blinds. He watched as she moved swiftly around the room and touched the walls with her power and sealed everything off. In fact it was deathly silent now with not even the gathering of footsteps moving through the halls for the trial.

"Okay we don't have much time." She spoke quietly and looked back to Noctis as Charlie and Vaggie stayed in front to protect him. "Tell me what you know."

"What I know?" He questioned.

The angel's gaze hardened, and she nodded. "Yes, do you know the whole story behind your previous life?"

"Of course we do." Vaggie answered for the man, her eye fixed in suspicion. "He was killed because Sera thought he was corrupted when he was Romna. She feared Lucifer turned him."

"Thats only part of the story." Jophiel clarified before looking through another set of blinds again to make sure no one was there.

"Part of it?" Noctis questioned with a raised brow.

The air became intense as Charlie and Vaggie looked to one another at that cryptic clarification from the angel, turning their attention back to her when she faced them again and continued in a stern tone of voice.

"Listen to me carefully, Adam was the cause of it."

"Adam!?" The trio exclaimed, recieving a desperate hush from the angel before she whispered more.

"Yes, in the beginning when Romna was to be made The Leviathan he was to be the deterrent of war. It was an agreement amongst the council to have an advocate of heaven and hell, but Adam sought to have his way instead."

Now Charlie was fixed on this, feeling not just a protectiveness for Noctis but a serious desire to know the truth about the first man and his constant interference that seemed to affect more than just her.

"What did he do?" She asked firmly, glaring up to Jophiel.

"He is the reason Romna was killed. During the proposition of divine beasts he proposed extermination day to the council but was denied."

Their eyes widened in shock as she took a breath to continue the story.

"He became jealous of the idea that heaven and hell kept peace through these divine beasts, so he manipulated Sera into believing Lucifer was corrupting Romna. He filled her mind with fear of losing her only son and caused that battle by showing how he would sneak into hell and interact with Lucifer ."

"Holy shit…." Vaggie gasped, unable to believe that even someone like Adam was so conniving.

"And once Romna—" she pointed to Noctis who was completely stunned by the revalation. "Was dead, he used it to propose extermination day once more and forced Sera to agree."

"Why is he still here in heaven?" Charlie asked quietly with her own anger fueling higher at how Adam was the cause.

Jophiel sighed in disappointment of the answer she was about to give, knowing it was the hardest truth.

"Because extermination day is hidden from the public. If we try anything he will expose the entire council to the citizens, and it could destroy the hierarchy of heaven."

"You can't be serious." Vaggie whispered scathingly, boring her gaze into the ashamed angel. "You're all staying quiet because he will go public if someone speaks up!?"

"Please," said angel clasped her hands together and pleaded silently with tears edging for freedom. "Understand that Sera is not your enemy, Noctis. She is your mother full of regret and sorrow but she can't intervene with Adam using her to keep extermination day going. He has made her suffer in ways no woman should for when she tried to stop his evil."

"What ways?" Noctis asked, finally putting himself into the conversation.

Jophiel looked away with clenched eyes, her breathing now shaky as the memories of those screams haunted her mind after so long.

"Things behind closed doors."

It did not take a detective to understand what the angel was implying. It all made sense now why extermination day existed in the first place. The very thing Charlie was fighting against was a dark exploit for the slaughter of her people and Adam was behind it so deeply he had the death of a son be the catalyst to his needs.

She pressed her hands to mouth in horror while Vaggie drank in the memories of her own past with a clenched fist and grit teeth.

"That sick motherfucker." The fallen angel growled before kicking the waste bin hard. "All this time we thought it was some sick fucking game to heaven but it is just that asshole."

"He is a master of manipulation and we can't stop him." Jophiel warned them and fixed herself to the man standing in shock of the truth. "If he destroys the hierarchy he could be made the highest of rank if he were to go public."

"Why not do it?" Vaggie asked harshly.

"Because Adam does not want that responsibility. He would rather have all of us under his feet than be left with an empty kingdom."

Charlie was initially angry but not for the same reason as Vaggie. In her heart she knew now just how deep this extermination day was going and disgusted her to the point of tears. She wasn't just fighting a tradition of her people being cattle for slaughter, she was going against someone she was not ready for.

"The trial….." she growled, clenching her eyes shut but failing to stop said tears. "We can't win."

"I am sorry." Jophiel breathed defeatedly and offered a comforting hug.

Charlie willingly accepted it and pressed herself into the angel, sobbing into her bosom and contemplating how she would be able to win against Adam.

"Babe?" Vaggie looked to Noctis as he sat on the office couch glaring down at the floor.

"All this time I….." he couldn't even finish for himself.

Vaggie knew this more than confusing and took her place at his side with a comforting hand on his shoulder as she spoke softly.

"Hey, nobody is at fault. Adam has been manipulating everything since day one."

With this harsh reality now flooding his mind, Noctis struggled to embrace and use this new feeling of pity for Sera.

And with both his initial hatred now clouded with uncertainty and dislike, letting himself process and understand these new mixed feelings made him brim with fury.

Why didn't he at least give her a chance? He hadn't because of the memory Lucifer shared but why not get the whole story.

The truth of the matter was he jumped to the obvious conclusion. The memory of Lucifer's past made him actually believe that his biological mother was in fact a monster that did not understand the meaning of love. That's why he was so distant and easily swaying himself to feel disgusted whenever in her presence.

"I'm so stupid."

His eyes flickered in remembrance of the heartbreak Sera expressed every time he denied even something as simple as sitting next her at the lunch gathering yesterday.

His heart was filled with guilt to go with the anger he still harbored that she killed him.

Regardless, he knew now the High Seraphim was more than a killer...

She was a victim and suffering.

He took a breath and stood up with a newfound determination in his glowing eyes as they turned to him.

"I have to talk to Sera and make this right. She may be my killer but Adam is the cause."

Charlie and Vaggie were surprised by this declaration but nodded in agreement as Jophiel felt her heart flutter at seeing her old friend, even in this new form, stand so strongly to fix things.

"Even now you never wavered."

To their horror though came the ring of the bell of the heaven council, signifying the final collection of angels to gather for the trial.

"We don't have time." Vaggie groaned as she dragged her hands over her face.

"Fuck!"

"There is no time." Jophiel quickly unsealed the room and opened the door. "Hurry now."

Noctis was the first to make a run for the door and head his way to the trial with a new purpose, ready to face this all head on.

But….

"What does it matter?" Charlie asked abruply as she did her best to wipe her tears. "We can't win with Adam controlling the council."

He came to a screeching stop and looked with the same disbelieving look Vaggie had.

"What?"

She laughed bitterly to the facts, to the impossible as she stood there clenching her shaking fists and per her usual expressed herself by crying.

"I said what does it matter?" She asked again but in a sharper tone meant specifically for the man. "We are so screwed because Adam is more than what we thought. He has the entire—"

She was silenced by the harshness of Noctis, her eyes snapping wide in shock of his hand striking her with an audible sting that made Vaggie and Jophiel gasp.

Charlie went silent but was hurt by the touch she never thought Noctis had the gall to perform.

However, it broke her away from drowning her doubts and senseless of hopelessness

She touched her cheek in silence and unbearable hurt, feeling the redness that burned on it as he glared with not a shred of remorse.

"You…..you hit me….."

It was almost breaking her heart that the man she loved struck her, until he scolded her.

"So what?" He snapped and grabbed her shoulders. "We have been expecting the impossible since day one of your dream and we have kept going."

He tightened his grip and told her without hesitstion his feelings about the situation.

"If anyone has a right to feel powerless its me because I have been hating the wrong person the entire time. But that does not mean I am going to quit and neither are you."

"But Adam is—"

She was silenced again but this time by the fiercest press of his lips as the trial loomed closer with each ring of the bell. It was the strongest kiss she had ever felt from Noctis and it drove her thoughts wild to find that he was still trying to her level with the situation.

He parted said kiss and whispered with finality in his words.

"I'm not giving up on your dream, and neither are you."

Charlie kept her gaze on Noctis and saw the resistance to this hopeless matter of her dream. All of it was ready to be thrown away by the princess but here he was still holding on for her and ready to tackle it head on not just for her but for himself and the sake of the council.

She pressed her lips back to his one more time before finding her determination again while Vaggie just shook her head playfully.

She removed her lips his again, soothingly, before looking those eyes and asking one question.

Just one.

"Are we ready?"

"Damn right." He gave a grin and looked back distantly to the now emotional Jophiel fanning her eyes as Vaggie and Charlie took his hands.

"Oh you three!" She fanned even harder and looked up. "Why do you have to ruin my foundation with the beauty of your love!?"

They laughed while walking out confidently out of the office with the same thought going through their heads.

How to win.

"Adam has the entire council on a leash so we the trial will be one-sided." Vaggie pointed out and puzzled until she was left with bo certain answer. "How are you going to outsmart him?"

"We aren't." Noctis told them, causing a duo of confusion with her confident smirk still showing while they walked. "We are going to play by his beliefs of redemption being impossible."

"Huh?" Both girls drawled and waited for his words to come.

"Do tell little brother." Jophiel mused after materializing a tissue to wipe her mascara.

Noctis already had it in his head how he was going to turn this around and dropped his smile into a coldness meant only the evil angel.

"Everybody thinks I am Romna, so I am going to give them the lord they think I am."

A few minutes later they enter what had to be the largest heotagon shaped room ever witnessed in all of creation. The three lovers were led by Jophiel to their assigned seats with every angel in the room giving suspicious looks to their angel of beauty before smiled warmly to Noctis and flew off to take her place.

Noctis had an unwavering gaze of determination as looked around and found Sera sitting at her place with a somber expression.

"Sera!" He called out, making her flinch and peer down to him.

"Yes my son?"

He gave her a pitiful understanding while the guilt fueled his motives.

"First off my name is Noctis, as I told you before. Secondly, I want to talk to you in private...as mother and son."

Sera felt her breath almost escape her as the room became more crowded, but she eagerly nodded while keeping her emotions mostly in check.

"Yes of course." She nodded with a bit of her smile returning. "I would love that."

He nodded with a smile of his own as Charlie looked back to the entrance of the archangels.

What she didn't realize was the tension between Noctis and Michael when their eyes locked and he dared to approach after the others flew up to their respective seats.

"Hello again..... boy."

Noctis did not give any leverage of expression to the archangel as Vaggie fought her hardest to not show fear when Michael smirked and continued.

"Here to entertain this pitiful attempt of redemption with your tainted love."

Noctis wanted to scream and pick a fight on the spot with said archangel but remembered how important it was to maintain his composure in front of the most powerful angels that were watching the scene unfold.

Slowly he stood up in his seat and met Michael's unbreaking glare with an intensity of his own.

"That is Lord Noctis to you, archangel. You would do damn well to remember your place when speaking to the son of the High Seraphim."

Michael flinched to everyone's surprise of Noctis speaking so differently than when he did at the lunch gathering yesterday. He did not just sound confident, he stood and spoke with authority that had angels impressed and even Sera having a flutter of her wings when he referred himself as her son.

Finally something was going right for her, so right that it almost broke the dam of her maternal emotions she was suppressing all day.

"Noctis don't." Vaggie pleaded quietly with a hand on his arm, but the the lock between both men was unbreakable as sparks flew in the glow between their eyes.

"Take. Your. Place." Noctis commanded, earning another smirk from the archangel who evetually stepped back and walked away.

But not without repeating the same insult from earlier.

"A boy playing lord."

Noctis kept watch until Michael took his seat, an internal relief that had him sigh deeply while Charlie had adoration for standing up to such a powerful being while murmurs passed around about his courage and authority.

"That was so hot." She whispered with a starty-eyed gaze.

Said adoration had come and gone though thanks to one being making himself present by walking by and giving her the middle finger.

"Oh no, not him again….." Charlie groaned seeing the leader of the Exorcists while Noctis had a different expression that reeked of malice when he looked up to Sera and saw her tense up.

That only confirmed his fears of what Jophiel explained to them in secret, and to be honest with himself that same guilt of disregarding her as his mother fueled both his fury and need to make things right.

"Im coming for you, asshole."

Adam flew up and sat down beside Lute, singing in a mock tone to irritate the trio. "What up, baby?~"

He the turned to Charlie but leaned over his seat and gestured to Sera with uncaring remark. "Saw that you went to my manager about your bullshit. Low blow, Karen."

"I am going to break him." Noctis growled quietly, his grip on his seat so strong it was cracking the marble.

"Of course, I thank you for attending," Sera nodded to the first man,,trying her best to remain calm in his smug gaze.

Gathering herself for obvious reasons only the trio knew of, Sera began the trial with a neutral expression.

But they shared the same goal of at least breaking the chains Adam put on the council with his malicious touch on them.

"We are gathered here today to determine whether or not a soul in Hell can be redeemed into the heavenly realm via means of this 'Hazbin Hotel'."

She then looked down to the princess with the same neutral, "Princess Morningstar?"

A moment of pitiful silence passed from said princess as she looked up to Sera knowing that deep down they were not enemies by choice. And it broke her heart to know that someone who only wanted her son back was being put through all this.

"Charlie?" Noctis touched her shoulder.

She snapped out of her stupor and made a collective breath before using flash cards of reference to speak as professional as possible.

"Thank you Seraphim, Webster's dictionary defines redemption as—

"Objection, lame and unoriginal." Adam interrupted rudely.

"Sustained." Sera spoke up with a finger in agreement, though the the way she looked to Charlie said otherwise. "No further dictionary references please."

"Right, okay..." Charlie said as she started shuffling through the flash cards while Vaggie cringed.

It was already a bad start for the princess when she didn't think how one-sided this court would be.

But who would that Adam was in complete control in the first place?

"Charlie." Vaggie said worriedly.

Suddenly Noctis stood up and looked to Sera knowing that he could recover the trial.

"As the son of The High Seraphim I wish to speak on behalf of the hotel." He stated firmly, earning murmurs from the council and a grit of teeth from Adam.

Sera was surprised the most but smiled warmly and nodded when her gaze met his.

"Very well my son. You have the floor."

Noctis nodded and took his place with Charlie and Vaggie smiling in relief.

"She is not a patron of the hotel but she is proof that evil is not a species but a choice, which can bring a person to the path of redemption." He spoke up loudly.

That took everyone by surprise, even Adam. However, this declaration gave the girls a bit of hope.

Especially Charlie…..

"Proof that evil is a choice?" Gabriel questioned slowly, his mind trying to wrap around the idea.

"Yes." Noctis nodded and looked back up to Sera knowing he was about to cause drama. "Carmilla Carmine."

"That old bitch?" Adam scoffed before having a hearty laugh. "What does that old cunt got to do with redemption?"

Noctis smirked at the first man and gave him a mild shiver while the council leaned in to hear.

He looked up to Sera once more. "Redemption starts with what people choose to do with themselves, correct?"

"In a way, yes." Sera nodded.

His smirk widened before continuing.

"Well I know she isn't as evil as everyone makes her out to be, and I say from personal experience."

"And what does this have to do with redemption?" Michael asked, drumming his fingers on his arm.

"Alot because in the beginning when I was in hell and unaware of my heritage I was running for my life when I escaped the Vees. Carmilla saved my life and the life of my son."

"Son?" Sera felt her breath hitch at the surprising truth, pressed a hand to her chest. "I have a grandson?"

"You do." Vaggie stood up and had her turn. "He is adopted but he is a hellhound named max."

"A hellhound!?" Adam couldn't contain his laughter as it echoed across the halls. "You're raising a mutt!!"

"No, the three of us are." Vaggie added and moved to speak with Sera. "The point is Carmilla saved Noctis and Max, and not only that she has raised him, provided for him, even taught him things while being a grandmother."

"She even calls me her son." Noctis added boldly with the council in gasps.

Sera underneath her neutral expression was flabbergasted by these truths and almost shaking visibly by how much she had missed during his living in hell.

But how could she know when her time was spent trying to find him?

"Sera?" Emily looked up to the seraphim staring blankly with tears as she held her hand.

She broke from this shock though and dried her tears before offering the first warm smile to Noctis. Nobody was fooled though by the heartache that was twitch with her quivering lip.

"I am…..happy...that you have someone so close to you."

Noctis only nodded with the guilt in his chest for having to use this information to make a point, even if it meant hurting Sera when right now he just wanted to talk to her.

He took a breath and continued to address the council.

"So even though Carmilla isn't part of the hotel she still shows qualities that even a demon can be good."

"If you have proof of this bitch being so good then show us." Adam demanded rudely as he hung lazily over the ledge.

"Adam." Sera said in an ordering voice but shrank back in her seat from the glare he gave.

Adam sneered after she sat back down. "I want proof so back off!"

Sera closed her lips and looked in submission, much like the rest of the council when he moved his gaze to each and every one of them. It was becoming more obvious to the trio that Jophiel was right about the story she gave.

"Asshole." Noctis growled quietly through clenched teeth, his knuckles cracking with how tight his fists clenched.

"Well?" Adam drawled mockingly with a grin. "Where is the proof?"

"We can't win when the council is like this." Vaggie whispered to Charlie who agreed but was ready to give her piece.

"We have a patron right now who is making incredible progress!" Charlie exclaimed after getting the time to gather her thoughts.

"Who?" Adam asked, his brow raised in a lack of belief. "Because I doubt it is someone your divine cuck can advocate."

"Actually yes, it is Angel Dust." Charlie answered.

"Oh yeah, the porn demon." Adam spoke up in fake realization. "He's totally worth being redeemed."

He then blew a raspberry before Jophiel asked with a raised brow. "Noctis can you vouch for this?"

"Yup." Noctis snipped with a flat stare and crossed arms, making her giggle.

"Please," Michael spoke up in a scoff. "A whore at a hotel for redemption, probably just his hiding place from his own faults."

Noctis bristled with an eerie glow in his eyes, glaring at the archangel that was still mildly confused by his lack of fear. Unfortunately Vaggie was not so brave after their encounter seeded her heart with memories of her time as angel.

"If I want your input I will ask." Noctis warned in a low tone, sparking conflict again. "NOW SHUT UP!"

Michael stiffened with fury at that order and dropped a hand to his sword, gripping the handle tightly while his hair waved lightly to match Noctis.

"Watch your tone boy." He warned.

"Watch your mouth, asshole." Noctis growled.

The entire council was in a collective whisper of amazement of Noctis standing his ground against the leader of heaven's army. No one in all of creation besides Lucifer had the audacity to challenge god's greatest warrior.

And yet in front of them was their untrained reincarnated lord ready to leap out of his seat and pick a fight with the same archangel that could split the skies with his blade.

"Noctis….." Sera breathed his name for the first time in admiration before catching herself.

"Kid has balls." Adam whispered to Lute who only rolled her eyes.

Thankfully Charlie was quick to intervene by pulling Noctis back down in his seat.

"Anyway if you know so much, what do you think it takes to get into Heaven?" Charlie asked in challenge of Adam's earlier comment after thrusting a finger at him.

Adam was not prepared even in his own domain of control to be called out after insulting Charlie for having the spider demon as the hotel's representative.

"Uhmm... well... Uhh..." Adam was stuttering on his own words and delaying while the council turned to eachother in curiosity.

"Is everything okay Adam?" Sera asked smugly, enjoying these little moments where she did not have to be afraid.

"Give me a fucking minute, okay," Adam retorted and mumbled with his back turned.

He quickly wrote on a golden parchment as the council took a breath of relief for the moment they had to not share their fear of him.

In that moment the trio whispered with what time they had.

"Jophiel was not kidding. Adam has them scared." Vaggie pointed out as the waiting continued.

"No shit." Noctis remarked and looked up to Sera staring down at him somberly, before going back to the girls. "We gotta play our words right to get them on our side."

"And if we don't?" Charlie asked, already worrying about the future.

Before Vaggie or Noctis could answer that they were met with said parchment from Adam when he teleported it to Vaggie.

Of course she took the lists on it and read out loud.

"'Act selfless, don't steal, stick it to the man'."

She was annoyed at that point and asked in harsh disbelief. "Are you fucking serious?"

Adam nodded with a proud smirk and replied smugly.

"Uh, yeah. Sure got me here, didn't it?"

Uncertainty came next when his confidence wavered at how nobody agreed with his statement. Control or not, even this monster couldn't control why he was in heaven.

Nervously he chuckled up to the High Seraphim "Right, Sera?"

Sera admitted, though she was uncertain herself and mainly stating out of her own fears. "It is true that he was the first human soul in Heaven..."

The others gave their own positive responses to that statement.

"Didn't know being a killer gave you immunity in heaven." Noctis stated with crossed arms, earning that glare from the first man.

"What happens with extermination day is—." Gabriel spoke up but froze when Noctis barely glanced at him but held a strong aura in his eyes that radiated the same warmth from when Adam barged into their hotel room today.

"I did not ask for your opinion."

The archangel himself went wide eye at being so coldly dismissed and straightened his posture..

"Forgive me, Lord Noctis."

"You're all seriously gonna kiss his ass!" Adam stated before he found himself being pushed back into his seat by Lute. "He's a fucking nobody playing daddy with a demon mutt and acting all cutesy with demons."

The council questioned that motive but were silenced when Noctis released a deep animalistic growl from his throat.

"Insult my son or my girls again and I will come up there and break you."

The council was surprised by his boldness against Adam who grit his teeth at the lack of control in the courtoom.

Jophiel smirked though, knowing it was her words that started the breaking of his fear inducing control with Noctis being a fresh face against all odds.

"You little bitch." Adam growled and was ready to fly off his seat

"Noctis," Charlie grabbed his shoulder and quietly reminder him. "Don't. Remember you said we have to play our words right."

Begrudgingly the man scoffed and sat back down in his seat and nodded.

"Let me try." The princess stood back up and continued her case with confidence and hope. "Anyway, I bet Angel is doing all of those things right now!"

"Then let's fucking see it bruh!" Adam exclaimed, snapping his fingers as the giant orb at the center of the room lit up and began to show them a scene, "Your honors, may I present: Exhibit A."

"Don't let us down, Angel." Noctis whispered to himself before the orb played the current events of a party going on.

Breath bated for the trio, they watched silent for minutes on end as Angel showed himself mingling with others and having a good time while having what heaven found to be forbidden in their eyes.

Alcohol.

Seeing this, Adam took advantage and pointed it out.

"Heavenly people, what more do you need to see? The porn star chose a night of debauchery. That's not a soul worthy of being in Heaven!"

Charlie panicked for a minute before shouting and giving him smug challenge. "Um objection! Are you really telling me you've never had a drink with friends at the end of a hard day?"

Adam scoffed at that and stated with a knowing grin. "Uh, we don't have hard days? It's fucking Heaven, bitch."

He then pointed an accusatory finger at her and asked, "You seriously gonna sit there and pretend like this behavior is ok?"

He looked to all of the council after she didn't answer. "Do all of you?"

Charlie only growled at this as the accusations got worse with Adam smirking at the already troubled Vaggie, ready to use her.

"What do you think?" He asked, forcing her fear of being unveiled to make her speak.

Vaggie stood up nervously and stammered as all eyes were now on her.

"I-I- I have to... "

Before she could find a means of escape she found herself grounded with Noctis pulling her to his side and speaking up for her.

"Objection!" He barked up to Sera, surprising her quite a bit. "During my time growing up on earth I have learned from different religions that in some cases alcohol is not frowned upon but encouraged through special religious cases. Not to mention you cannot condemn Angel Dust for having an alcoholic drink during a social occasion. Socialization is key to the grow and influence of being a better person."

Adam scoffed at that counter and gave a mock bow. "Pfft. Yeah right your majesty."

Noctis did not stop explaining to Sera as he ignored the angel yet used him. "Take for example Adam eating ribs. In some religions eating pork is frowned upon since pig is considered unclean. So by saying Angel Dust is to be condemned for his night out is basic hypocrisy."

Adam suddenly picked up on that and raged as the council went into questioning while Sera contemplated the defense of that statement. "YOU TAKE THAT BACK, OR I'LL ERASE YOUR BITCH-ASS!"

"ADAM!" Uriel spoke out, making the arrogant angel flinch. "This is a courtroom, bot a playground for your banter."

"My courtroom." Adam muttered with a grin and say back with his arms crossed. "I got all you fuckers on a leash."

"Sera?" Emily said her name softly, waiting like the rest of the council for a definitive answer.

Finally gave her view in a gentle tone directly to Noctis.

"It is true that there are many human religions of our heavenly father But since you make a valid point of hypocrisy..... I will sustain your statement."

She turned her attention to Adam and announced. "Angel Dust will not be held accountable on the use of alcohol."

"What!?"

Noctis smirked to the angel as Charlie pumped her fist to her waist and whispered 'yes'. Only one thought played in the man's head as his eyes remained focused on Adam.

"You don't have me scared asshole."

Adam fumed for a second before he took a breath and relaxed back in his seat, much more calmly than normal when someone crossed or defied him.

That in turn made the entire council either scared or nervous when his reputation preceded him as an angel of retaliation.

It did not help that he smiled as well.

"Fine. Have your victory for now." He praised, though halfheartedly.

By suprise it was Jophiel who took the attention in the courtroom next by raising her hand to speak.

Sera saw and addressed her before more conflict could come, though she was secretly enjoying Noctis beating Adam in a game of debate.

"Yes, Jophiel?"

"If I may be so bold to say, but I understand why the spider demon would unwind with a little mingling and partying when his purpose is serving a heinous overlord."

Noctis nodded to her in thanks for that, receiving that beaming smile of hers.

Unfortunately…..

"So hot yet so dumb," Adam chuckled at Jophiel, an insult which earned him a glare from most of the council— not that he cared. "Did you forget that the coked whore sold his soul?"

"Shit." Vaggie whispered as the council nodded to eachother in agreement.

"We know that." Charlie yelled with a slam of her hands, pleading to everyone. "But Angel will make better decisions on this. Please, just keep watching and you'll see."

"Why not continue watching?" Noctis suggested, arms crossed and his gaze narrowed.

Sera looked over to him and was immediately moved for such matter, but hearing Adam blatantly cough to clear throat in warning had her rethinking which was more important.

Listening to her son or abiding to the tyranny the council's menace.

"I don't know..."

"Yeah, let's give Angel Dust a chance." Emily chimed in.

Sera looked relieved that her little sister spoke up when she was the only one unaware of the secret behind Adam being so influential. With her speaking up she gave the council the power to agree with her.

With the council majority voting in favor of their innocent seraph, Sera conceded happily with knowing it would irritate Adam.

"Very well. I will allow it."

Hearing that made Charlie so overjoyed that she screamed, "FUCK YES!"

Of course she covered her mouth and blushed while Noctis and Vaggie facepalmed.

Sera cleared her throat and gestured to the orb.

"Let's continue the viewing."

A few minutes later...

After the viewing came to a close with Charlie's heart lifted and Noctis grinning smugly at Adam, a whispering went around as she pointed out the facts to them.

"See, He did everything on your list: He kept Niffty from stealing, he acted selfless, and stuck it to Valentino! This is proof that a soul can do better."

Adam was backed into a corner now with his control over the council slipping, thousands of years of manipulation coming down as he tried to find a way to recover.

"Uhhh… well, uh… "

"Out of options?" Noctis asked thoughtfully, which confused only Emily before the first man made a point with his next question.

"Then, then why isn't he here then? Hm?"

Realization dawned to the young seraph as she asked Sera, "Yeah, why isn't he here?"

Sera looked away from the question with a bit of shame to that and the lack of voice she had in the matter.

The Angels in the court began to murmur and also talk amongst themselves in silence as Adam got his control back and grinned proudly down at the trio.

"Divine Beast or not, you're in my house bitch."

Noctis narrowed his gaze at that and wanted to use what power he knew to control to burn the first man in his seat. But like always he had the girls keeping him in check as the murmurs continued.

That is until Charlie had rising anger in realization to their confusion and ever-so boldly asked the council.

"Wait, none of you know what gets someone into Heaven?"

Finally some authority came from Sera when the princess asked such a powerful question, but the matter of intention was nothing more than forced when she knew Adam was looking right at her to silence everyone.

"This debate and questioning stops here!" She spoke out and silenced the council as Emily looked over the list. "We know when a soul arrives, we know when they pass divine judgment, it is our job to ensure these souls are safe."

Adam smirked at her doing her job, but it didn't last with Emily speaking her mind through song.

The young seraph with a heavy heart to this conflict started a melody after looking at Adam's list.

"~But she was right, Sera~"

"~She showed us a soul can improve~"

Everyone went quiet as the young seraph took her place in the air after gently flying out of her seat to float by the orb.

Noctis had thought as he saw how everyone was listening so intently it was as if Adam did not exist in the room, feeling his place to take in this argument as he stood up.

"~He saw the light, Sera~."

"~Checked all the boxes that you said would~."

"Noctis what are you doing?" Charlie whispered, as he hopped to the center of the room, drowning in his idea as Emily continued singing to the other angels she flew to.

"~Prove a person deserves a second chance~."

"~Now we turn our backs, no second glance~."

"The fuck is he doing?" Vaggie whispered, watching with worry before she and Charlie followed.

"~It's not as simple as you think~." Sera joined in with her own melody, taking Emily by her hands when she came back, a sadness in her eyes that was more than what she let on. "~Not everything is spelled in ink~."

"~I couldn't agree more with you~." Noctis started singing as well, surprising everyone with his own sadness.

He looked up to the stunned angel hearing her own son, and felt herself shimmer with tears at a past life forgotten.

It mended part of her heart to hear him after so long and continue doing so as the council listened.

"~But it is time to start anew.~"

"~Especially when you have so much to say~."

Sera was hesitant to accept those words but drawn like a moth to a flame with his voice, his familiar softness from Romna.

But he was gone, yet somehow he wasn't.

She stood up and flew down as Noctis kept it going, closing herself in to him.

"~I was told of the pain that has stricken you~."

"~I know the fear that is keeping you away~."

He took her hands and looked into her tear-filled eyes as the implication came out.

"~But let us start with I forgive you.~"

"~Let us help you fix things, don't you think~?"

Sera didn't need to process what Noctis was implying as he held her hands tightly and raised his pitch, putting her composure to shame.

She could barely control her quivering lip at this point.

"~We found out the whole truth to my story~."

"~But you do not have to worry~."

He gestured to Charlie and Vaggie.

"~We came here to be against you until we found out the hell you feel~."

She gasped at hearing with definite confirmation, and let out her tears as Charlie stepped in with bubbling anger not for her...but for Adam.

"~You know it's not fair, Sera~." She sang, her anger rising.

Vaggie approached her, placing a hand on Charlie's shoulder with warning after she looked over to Adam . "Careful Charlie, keep a cool head around him."

Adam was starting to get suspicious of where this song was going.

"No!"Charlie exclaimed, shaking off her grip and holding Sera's hands with Noctis.

"~We know that you care, Sera~!"

"~We know because of the lies that were led~!"

Sera looked genuinely broken by that statement like the council that shared the same guilt for their actions from then and now.

Charlie looked to Noctis, receiving his nod before she back away and touched the orb as it showed multiple scenes of Angel and the others' improvements.

"~And just because someone is dead~."

"~It doesn't mean they can't resolve to change their ways~"

"~Turn the page~."

"~Escape Infernal Blaze~."

Charlie did not let her intensity die out but grow only more as she helped imply more by gesturing to the council.

"~Just because you are bound does not mean you can't try~"

"~Break your chain~."

"~Rise so high.~"

"~Help us so we can help you escape your pain.~"

Sera continued to feel for them, even as she sung from the heart and looked to Emily who was entirely confused.

But like always she was ridden with fear of Adam and sighed in defeat.

"~I'm sure you wish it could be so, but there is alot she must not know.~"

"But they do know because I told them." Jophiel sang in, stunning the seraphim and the council. "It's time for this to end.

"Jophiel….." Sera gasped as everyone but Emily, even Adam who only smirked, knew what she did. "Tell me you didn't."

"Oh now the fun begins." The first man snickered, rubbing his hands together before Lute took control by slamming here hands down.

"~WHAT ARE WE EVEN TALKN' ABOUT~!?"

"~Some crack-hore who fucked up already?~"

That made the trio offended at her talking about their friend who indeed came so far.

Lute then sat on the edge with her legs crossed, adding insult to injury about Angel Dust with the facts while Adam added some colorful gestures behind her.

"~HE blew his shot, like the cocks in his mouth~"

She then stood up from the bench and put her Exorcist helmet on. "~It does not matter what your boyfrienr says, this discussion is senseless and petty.~"

Adam then joined in as the two sung while flying around to land on the orb.

"~There's no question to be posed. He's unholy case closed~"

"~Did you forget that Hell is forever?!~"

Having his own fun, Adam decided to bring the despair heavier on them by grinning at Charlie flaring her demon power while Noctis started releasing his aura.

"~A man only lives once. We'll see you in one month~"

"Over my dead body!" Noctis snarled but was ignored.

"~Gotta say I can't wait to...~"

"Adam dont..." Sera warned, not liking where this was going.

But... Adam didn't listen.

"~Come down and exterminate the three of you~"

Hearing this Emily shouted, "Wait!"

The shout drew the attention of everyone, and stopped the fight brewing between Adam and Charlie, but Noctis was on the verge of losing it again.

"Shit!" Adam cursed, realizing his mistake now.

"~What are you saying?~" Emily asked, getting closer with a pitting feeling in her stomach, "~Let me get this straight. You go down there and kill those poor souls?~"

"Its more than that!" Charlie stated to the disheartened Emily. "Adam started all of it with Romna's death. He tricked Sera into killing him to start extermination day!"

"What!?" Emily in shock as the council started to fear the worst.

"And he has the council in fear because the public does not know!" Vaggie added, breaking Emily's heart more.

Adam now knowing it was too late to hide it now shouted proudly. "Whoops!"

"Guess the cat's out of the bag." Lute commented smugly.

"What is the big deal?" Adam asked so smugly.

Emily looked up to Sera as the truth was revealed, seeing desperation on the seraphim as the council was now in a different view.

"~Sera, tell me that this isn't true!~"

All eyes turned to Sera who was scared of what Adam would do now that the extermination and the reason behind it was revealed.

Sera thought she could hide it all away, but seeing the smug grin from Adam broke her into desperate melody for herself and the council.

"~We thought since we are older it's our load to shoulder~"

"No!" Emily shouted as tears started to fall in disbelief, an entire council and her sister hiding the darkness behind adam.

She looked around to her fellow angels sharing the same guilt. "Tell me it isn't true!"

"Emily," Noctis paused to offer a comforting hand but was shrugged off by the teary-eyed angel as Sera explained herself and the council.

"~You have to listen. It was not our first decision~"

"How!?" Emily screamed in horror but Sera continued.

"~We wanted to save you from the anguish of what Adam feels is required~"

Sera then took Emily's hand and forced a smile, tears falling during the reflective fire in her eyes.

Emily stood there in silence of the heaviness that came with those horrifying revelation. This whole time the man she thought was once corrupted by Lucifer but reincarnated, as she was told before, was actually a victim of a tyrant.

"Not yet." Adam mysteriously whispered to Michael who almost drew his blade.

Emily looked over to the smirking adam and saw not a shred of remorse behind that mask of his.

"Yeah kiddie, I blow the whistle to the public, they can vote to cast out the council." Adam said confidently as he pretended to check his nails.

Hearing that ignited a fire in the seraph, a determination that had her now glaring at the desperate Sera.

"~To think that I admired you~"

Emily tugged herself out of Sera's grip and flew upward with a new perspective.

"~Well, I don't need the council's condescension!~"

"~I'm not a child to protect!~"

She flew back in the air with anger evident as she thrusted a finger at Adam but kept herself fixed on Sera.

"~Unlike you I will not stand for this~"

"~I will not abide to this monster and his bloody bliss~"

Sera closed her eyes ashamed of what her actions had done to Emily… who stood before the orb that showed now the day Adam was cackling over Romna's grave.

"~You call yourself a mother~"

"~But you let heaven be dictated by another ~"

"~I was so blind by the morals you are purveying~"

"Well I won't stand by you in this evil Adam is conveying!~"

She turned away as Adam started to get annoyed by the interference. He went to stop the angel and her influential singing but was met with Noctis and Vaggie stepping in.

"~Then help us break his control with what we are saying~!" Charlie exclaimed, joining her new friend into holding hands after they leapt on the orb.

"Move you bitches!" Adam snapped but was met with Noctis losing more control than he did at the hotel.

"Not happening!" He snarled with his hair actually flaming. "Do it Charlie!"

"Do it now!" Vaggie nodded back to her.

Charlie and Emily nodded together before letting the council have it.

"~If Adam says Hell is forever, then Heaven must be a lie!~"

This declaration from not just Charlie but also Emily had Adam enraged and the council in fear when she did not understand the dangers looming with his secret weapon ready to be drawn.

"Emily, dont!" Sera pleaded fearfully.

Charlie and Emily continue to sing together, undeterred by anyone who feared them speaking things that would risk the council.

"~If such a monster can do whatever, and remain in the sky~"

This made Adam and Lute glare at the two as they leapt off the orb and confronted him.

"~The rules are shades of gray when Adam will make the council do as he say, and you all let him make the wretched suffer just so he can kill them again!~"

Charlie looked to Vaggie after the orb showed another image of extermination day.

"~ I was told not to trust in angels but clearly its just one~"

Adam had a thought after he looked to Noctis before grinning with readiness.

He nodded to Michael and closed himself in to the former angel.

"~By her?~" He asked, gesturing to Vaggie mockingly as Michael slowly loomed closer to Noctis.

Lute leans on Vaggie's shoulder. "~Ha! She should know~"

"We should go." Vaggie suggested before taking them both by their hands.

Noctis knew why and couldn't agree more when it was the sake of her secret. He was quick to nod in agreement, unaware of the danger moving closer.

"Michael?" Sera questioned as he drew his blade.

Charlie wasn't done though and distracted when the council was now silent but glaring at Adam with rising defiance.

She could feel they were so close to making a difference.

"Michael what are you doing!?" Sera yelled and looked to the sadistic Adam grinning madly.

Her breath caught in her throat as Charlie went to continue while Noctis flinched at Sera yelling, and spun around after feeling that something was off.

He looked up to the Archangel with a shaking hand on his sword.

"No, don't you see Vaggie we—"

Suddenly a sickening crunch came from Noctis that silenced Charlie, his eyes wide with painful shock as he gasped with the council stunned as Michael stood there grinning ear to ear while Adam just watched with dark satisfaction.

"Noctis?" Charlie questioned after seeing him hunched over slightly to the angel.

Until Jophiel screamed in horror.

The next thing they knew Noctis was lifted off his feet by Michael with blood splashing both Charlie and Vaggie after the blade went through his abdomen, his screams echoing through the council.

Like fire in his stomach he clutched Michael's wrist and looked into those satisfied eyes that strangely had tears coming down as Adam laughed in the midst of the chaos. He couldn't control of what was happening, only watch his own horror as the realization struck him.

And watch he did with a gasp of agony after the blade was removed from being flung back to the ground with Charlie and Vaggie in a panic.

"MY BABY!" Sera screeched, running to aid in any way she could while Emily stood there with a blank expression.

Michael stopped her though with his bloody sword pointed at her as Adam began to slowly clap.

"Well this turned out better than expected." He said amusedly while watching Noctis writhe and whimper, enjoying the suffering he brought into the council.

He turned his attention to Charlie running to Noctis and sliding on her knees to see the gushing wound as Vaggie felt her entire world crumble in an instant.

Charlie was still in shock but trying to dress the wound while Vaggie scowled at the first man that approached.

"Did you really think a few words and your boytoy could change the dynamic?" Adam laughed for his own enjoyment. "I am The First Man. I do what the fuck I want. And I say creation does not need a divine beast if I can't control it."

"Charlie….." Emily could barely squeak her name as she stood there watching the princess cry in hysterics as the blood stained her and puddled.

Adam was not done though. No. He wanted not just to win but to break the princess of her spirit and her dream to make sure his control would never be in danger again.

"Let go!" Vaggie screeched after he grabbed her chin and forced her to look right at the demon before snickering.

"And here is a little insight for you. Your pocket pussy here used to be one of us."

He didn't even give Charlie to react by shoving Vaggie so hard she was now pressing hands on Noctis as well while he started to lose consciousness.

He snapped his fingers and in came a portal that started to pull them.

"NO!" Sera reached desperately but Michael continued to stand between her and her son as the trio was being evicted from heaven. "MICHAEL WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

Adam cackled at her confusion and turned to boost his ego as the girls tried hold onto Noctis and keep him alive.

He mocked the high seraphim just as the council watched in the same fear he planted so long ago.

"You didn't think I would have a backup plan in case someone would get high and mighty. Bitch I am always one atep ahead of you."

He tapped the archangel on his shoulder as Vaggie looked him in confusion.

Until she saw the marking on his neck.

"You have been controlling him!" The former angel accused, sending gasps all over the council but none dared to intervene.

Not even the other archangels when they knew how powerful Michael was.

"Oh yeah baby," Adam snickered to her. "All I gotta do is snap my fingers and he is under my control."

It finally dawned to the former angel that the hotel incident was not a random encounter of the archangel as she watched Michael stand like a statue with his blade still drawn and dripping.

The power display, the fear they expressed, the way he tossed Adam...

"You planned this."

"Bingo!" Adam chuckled heavily. "When you have lived as long as me then you plan accordingly."

It dawned to Vaggie what Michael had said to them in hotel room earlier about there being evils beyond extermination day.

"He was warning us without Adam knowing."

"You're a monster." Emily said through her shock but was ignored by the first man taking this oppurtunity to have his fun with Charlie and Vaggie.

"Better save the date, cunts. Because we are coming to the hotel first and I will be making sure your boytoy is mantled." He declared while looming over with Lute.

Charlie and Vaggie had nothing to say and only held on as the portal got stronger and ripped the three of them back into hell.

"Noctis….." Jophiel breathed, eyes watering and heart breaking while Adam and Lute exited with Michael behind them.

"No….." Sera could barely form that word, and collapsed in tears as the council once again remained petrified by their own fear of the public finding out.

She sobbed for all to hear and remained in that one spot as Emily tried to offer a comforting hand.

"My baby..." she hugged herself and screeched, a powerful pain that made Adam grin ear to ear throughout the halls.

"What have we become?" Gabriel asked himself.

Back at Hazbin Hotel

"CARMILLA!" Charlie screeched after the portal spat the trio out in the lobby and closed up.

Noctis could only watch with a faded gaze as the overlord came running to the horror that is his puddling blood under his body. It wasn't long before Alastor came from the shadows and threw both girls off and started working with his fellow overlord to address the wound.

But the last thing he heard before darkness was Charlie hysterically screaming at Alastor and Carmilla.

"FIX HIM! FIX HIM!!!"
