Chapter 31 - XXXI: Preparation Part 2

AUTHOR NOTE....

I heard about the unfortunate confirmation of only five seasons. However I'm not gonna be done at five seasons. I have a lot more to write and a lot more ideas to give.

So yes, to those who messaged me on fanfic, yes I am gonna keep going even when the show stops at season five.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy the surprise in this chapter…..

It was looming closer now, the judgment to come for Charlie as she walked the streets of the city she swore to save from the angels. Stress wasn't even measurable at this point after her actions with Alastor not only put her in a harder place with Vaggie but now she cracked a deeply sacred trust that would ultimately come back to haunt her.

As hard as she tried to focus on that and the task at hand, the Princess of Hell couldn't take her mind from the lies and deception of Vaggie and her past even when she was just as much in trouble as her with Max now in a deal with the radio demon.

Her mind was a storm but the eye of it was mainly about being ready to fend off extermination day with whatever she could use.

She would have to answer to Noctis later.

"Three years!? Three years I've been sharing my life with her and I tell her everything!" She vented with dramatic fashion, expressing herself with her body language. "And that was before Noctis was tossed at my feet by that woman!"

Alastor wasn't so keen about being a friend who listen, or even a friend at all. He simply guided her to their destination and cleaned his monocle whilst pushing her frustrations out of his mind and focusing on how to harness his botched deal.

"My hopes , my dreams, my insecurities, my embarrassing, even what fucking deodorant I like." She vented more and more, though her naive thinking didn't let her see how much Alastor didn't care. "And they keep something like this from ME!?"

"Where is her off switch?" Alastor asked himself mentally.

"Why would she lie for so long?! Did she think I wouldn't accept her!?" Charlie continued to babble her thoughts and feelings as they finally arrived to the place Alastor knew far too well.

Slowly her babbling turned into curiosity as all the demons around moved fashionably, ignoring that their own princess was confused by this place.

She gazed around and asked about the bloody town of hollow -eyed demons. "Where are we?"

"Cannibal Town." Alastor answered with a dramatic slide before taking her arm. Although that did not last long with how Charlie yanked her arm away and just followed. "There's a friend of mine I think you should meet."

"In cannibal town?" She questioned, her skepticism quite obvious before she gandered at the town and its people.

She had heard stories about these sadistic demons and their ways of cleaning up every mess from every extermination day. The stories from her father did nothing but help ease her mind to understand that he was more of a liar than she had thought whilst feeling at ease with how the cannibals we're friendly.

"But it's surprisingly nice here."

"Isn't it though?" Alastor chimed enthusiastically before letting her inside the boutique on mind. "And it's all thanks to a very special friend of mine."

"Rosie's Boutique?" Charlie questioned after seeing the sign inside, finding the chalkboard of cosmetic lists written right by a list of butcher methods for corpses.

"Indeed." Alastor stepped into her view, his expression darkening while a line of cannibals had their turns. "But dont be fooled. She's an overlord like me so careful with how you word out the situation."

"Why?" Charlie cocked a brow while the demon in Alastor's circle of supposed friends rambled to one of her followers.

Alastor leaned in, crackling his static with his whisper while the dials turned in his eyes .

"Word play is our battlefield my dear. You wouldn't want to give leverage after how you failed miserably with my deal."

Charlie widened her eyes with understanding and begrudging acceptance as the cannibal in question finally noticed their presence. She only nodded to both his advice and her mistake with quiet willingness.

The cannibal was a tall and slender demoness with shapely hips and mildly taller than Alastor. Her pale grey skin and hollow eyes matched her followers but the charm she beamed with that 1910s outfit and style made her a one of kind woman beneath that smile of of sharp teeth. Even her black eyes with iris or pupil couldn't hide how surprised she was to see the radio demon.

As soon as she handled one deal with another cannibal and handed her business card, this overlord showed excitement and pushed her away through her crowd of people.

"Oh my stars. Do my eyes deceive me? Alastor?" She spoke with a radiating enthusiasm whilst pushing her way out of the crowd to approach. "Alastor!"

Finally she reached them with a tight hug for the radio demon, her enthusiasm almost infectious.

"Where have you been? These halls really lost some of their sparkle without your lively presence and-" She then paused as she noticed Charlie, and decided to test with teasing. "Oh. Who's this ya brought with you? Come now, Alastor, she's much too young for you!"

"Say what!?" Charlie squealed in a mix of embarrassment and anger.

"No. No." Alastor corrdected this in a casual manner. "She's spoken for."

Unamused, Charlie rolled her eyes still at how they were misread as a couple. One of the downsides of working with Alastor was that some people had started to believe that Alastor and she were a couple when they entered the town.

Thankfully Rosie wasn't all too serious about as Charlie turned away with her arms crossed. "Oh I know sweetie. I'm just kidding. I know you're an Ace in the hole."

"A what now?" Alastor asked confusedly with his smile.

"Excuse me!" Charlie couldn't hold herself back and tapped Rosie on the shoulder to get her attention. "I'll have you know I'm happily spoken for by a wonderful man that I am mated too."

She then held up her hand to show the bond she made with the shackle appearing on her wrist in a smoky fashion.

"See?" She huffed.

Rosie's eyes, or whatever she had for eyes, lit up with amazement and she was awestruck by the shackle that glowed with a blue hue in the midst of her examining this powerful binding.

"A mate bond!" She laughed happily at this which confused the princess. "Oh sweetie that's a powerful vow you took for one man. I haven't seen one of these since my first husband before I bit his head off."

She grinned smugly and nudged the princess. "Must be some man you have given eternity to."

"More than a man." Alastor clarified for the one embarrased Princess. "He's the partial reason we are here."

Charlie then backed up a few steps with apprehension to the truth behind the bond. She was so certain that nobody knew what the significance of it was but now this overlord was blatantly aware and smiling curiously.

"How do you know?" Charlie asked cautiously, making Rosie laugh.

"Sweetie I've been around the block and I know a mate bond when I see it."

"I thought I was careful." Charlie whispered to herself.

"But anyway," Rosie waved off the revelation like it was nothing and turned her attention to Alastor. "Where are your manners, mister?" She asked cooly and gestured to Charlie. "Introduce us, why don't you."

"Ahh yes," Alastor agreed on the spot and joined Charlie on her side to introduce the cannibal bowing lightly with a fan of her dress. "Charlie, this is Rosie—the most darling, delightful and dangerous Overlord this side of the Pentagram!"

"Oh always such a charmer." Rosie teased before the introduction continued with Alastor thrusting the nervous princess to her.

"And Rosie it's my pleasure to introduce you to Charlie Morningstar—Daughter of Lucifer, Heir to the Throne of Hell, and mated to a special individual."

"How do you do?" Charlie waved and chuckled nervously, feeling Rosie examine her like a judge.

"Well. Well. If this isn't a regal suprise." Rosie was giddy of the matter and pushed Charlie over to her booth before rummaging. "Come in. Come in. Can I offer you something to eat?"

"No thanks." Charlie said quietly but was heard on deaf ears by the overlord and her friendliness.

"I'm sure I have a leg around here somewhere." Rosie thought she did but failed to do find one as her mind drifted with a playful poke of Charlie's stomach. "Oh who am I kiddin, a small thing like you. You're probably watching your figure."

"I mean I'm not—"

"How about some nice pinkie fingers instead?" Rosie interrupted and held out a box of the appendages in pink wrappers. "They're fresh."

"Oh no. No. No thank you." Charlie said kindly, fighting to maintain her cheerful demeanor while Rosie took endearment of her with a small head rub.

"Oh look at you. So polite." The overlord praised before grimacing at Alastor. "Alastor, you could learn a thing or two."

"Probably not." Alastor quipped as the two ladies hushed off to sit.

Rosie insisted on pushing Charlie to a private table for a better conversation as to their presence, sitting said princess in her seat before she started.

"Well, sit down. Sit down. Tell Auntie Rosie what she can do for you." She beckoned but then nudged to Alastor smugly. "Ya know, Alastor. I got a premo-connect on a guy with about eight blocks of territory and not enough goons to run it. Prime pickin's for a deal to be made, my friend."

"Appreciate the offer."Alastor returned to Charlie's side and leaned on the rest piece. "But we're here on business of another kind that is quite.... Delicious."

"Well don't keep me in suspense! I'm a very busy woman." Rosie said, as she drank a cup of tea.

It was the spotlight for Charlie now with both overlords waiting to hear her piece, her

demeanor already cracking from the frustration and anxiety.

"Well, as you know..." she paused long enough to gauge Alastor of his expression, before panic had set in and she lost herself. "the extermination is coming early. It'll be here in a month, and they're-they're coming for my hotel and my friends first, and most of all Adam has control of Michael and they're coming to kill my mate because he's the leviathan that's to keep heaven and hell in check and I-I-I-I-I-"

"We need your help." Alastor interrupted casually, clarifying clearly their intentions. "Well, your cannibals help at least, to fend off the attack so that our friend can handle Adam and Michael."

"Please." Charlie squeaked behind her hands, peeking through her fingers to see the cannibal overlord had almost lost her composure.

Alastor already expected from personal experience that Rosie would be more than willing to help. The silence that stretched from the cannibal overlord stretched on however when she stared blankly at the princess for her truth that had the rest of the cannibals inside watching curiously with half understanding of the situation.

"I—I'm sorry sweetie." Rosie finally spoke though a bit out of character with how she set her cup down and leaned in, her smile cracked. "But could you elaborate about this mate of yours?"

Charlie was a bit surprised how well Rosie was taking this, but it was Alastor who spoke out of turn to make sure the situation was clear and understood.

"Her mate is a divine beast known as Noctis. He is the reincarnation of the high seraphim's son."

"THE—THE WHAT!?" Rosie exclaimed, her followers gasping in unison while Alastor nodded.

"Quite shocking indeed my friend." He said very calmly while fiddling with his microphone. "We thought he was just an unlucky human thrusted into hell, but it turns out he is much more than anticipated." He spun his cane and pointed it at her. "Which is why we need your cannibals in the coming fight to fend off the army while HE deals with Adam and Michael."

"I see." Rosie breathed with half a thought of process, her attention turning to the embarrass Charlie. "And this Noctis also happens to be your mate?"

Charlie only nodded and whimpered behind her hands.

"And you're certain he's a divine beast?" Rosie laughed, tipping her cup to her lips with a now shaky hand.

"Without a doubt." Alastor chuckled at how unhinged his old friend was becoming. "As Charlie stated before, he is the leviathan. His duty is to safekeep Heaven and Hell even from conflicting with one another."

"But he's being trained right now." Charlie added whilst taking her phone out to show the cannibal diva a photo.

"Oh my!" Rosie was quite surprised by the image but not deturred from the man and his form.

"Quite the catch isn't he?" Alastor joked heartily.

Rosie nodded in agreeement and eyed the picture a little longer. She was not one to be so quiet about pointing out the ups and downs of a person or hold her tongue about teasing as Charlie had experienced moments ago. However, she was awestruck that the Princess of Hell nabbed someone of this caliber and handed the phone back.

"Well you certainly know how to pick'em." Rosie teased with a laugh.

"Oh that's not the best part!" Alastor laughed knowingly and spared no dignity for Charlie after he took a seat for himself. "This boy is also married to Beezlebub due to a binding magical marriage from his past life."

"Alastor!" Charlie screeched as she turned completely red.

Now Rosie's interest was piqued, as it showed with how she refilled her cup and leaned sat her chin in her own palm and smirked curiously at the stuttering trying trying to scold Alastor.

She coughed to get their attention, which seemed to work while the rest of the cannibals gathered to hear.

"Sounds like you have a lot in your plate sweetie." Rosie smiled cheekily, making Charlie grumble. "Start at the beginning sweetie. I want to know everything."

Meanwhile in The Pit…..

Cold, ominous emptiness in the barren landscape of its prison where the worst are laid to be put down for eternity to never bother those above once more. It's ashen grounds were littered with bodies of those once imprisoned, now empty of flesh and devoid of life while the faintest light shimmered in the deathly hills of the darkness.

Those who still breathed remained still under their chains or the weight of the dirt that piles for eons, their cries of freedom only now hoarse gasps of deprived living.

One figure was not so broken though, his hollow body untouched by the atmosphere yet shackled with golden chains built from angelic grace. His eyes remained as empty as the core he had with no soul, his six wings nailed to the ground, even his eyes bound shut by a cloth that glowed with angelic symbols.

His servants, his collection of souls—the unjudged. Those who remained after the banishment surrounded the the light that continued to ignite from said chains, their hunger palpable as they watched him listen to the soft humming of a hellhound that shared this imprisonment but with a little more freedom to her own form.

She sat peacefully in the death infested dirt while crocheting a fine yard of golden silk that continued to refill its own ball, the twine shimmering as a gift from the one angel that rewarded her this small gift to pass the time while keeping this figure imprisoned.

The sound of crochet needles were the most sounding annoyance to the empty angel as he remained still in his prison.

"Your grace won't keep me forever, Moira." He said ominously, his voice echoing with different whispers of his victims.

"Maybe so, Lyoria—" Moira looked up from her crocheting and smiled like nothing was happening around her. "But Noctis will be ready to handle you by that time."

"Noctis…." The first flaw breathed the name venomously, grinning from ear to ear quite literally with a flicker of his true form. "That boy whom everyone is relying so much on."

Moria didn't care for his verbage about the man she saved and simply went back to her crocheting, ignoring both his laughter and the cries of the imprisoned that mixed with various entities of the truest evil all around them.

Not even the unjudged that circled her light could break her focus as she knit another sleeve into the baby clothes she worked tirelessly on. Danger and death all around yet completely disregarded by her with each knit that marched her tune of humming.

If discomfort was truly felt, Lyoria would express how sickening it was to be trapped with such calmness from this hellhound.

"So sweet of faith you have in that boy." He chuckled darkly.

"Yup." Moira chirped.

"How touching that someone of so little use can be so inspiring, even to a lowly dog that gave up her place to be in heaven."

His mockery would be like a knife twisted in a burning wound if Moira paid attention but she continued to invoke his growing bitterness with how she kept dismissing his attempt with careless ease.

A frown formed beneath his blindfold. "You really think you can remain radiant in this pit of nothingness?"

"It's better than my last life." She responded cooly.

Something about that humbling answer chipped Lyoria in his composure. A snarl of faint whispers from the souls trapped inside had escaped his breath whilst rushing her like a hungry animal. In arms reach he followed the sound of her knitting and lunged bust before the chains yanked him down and the nails in his wings burned hotly with tighter restraint.

She didn't even look up when his hands were just centimeters from his face before they were yanked back.

"Noctis will stop you."

"YOU THINK YOU ARE SO CLEVER!" His composure completely broke into a furious cackle, his body thrashing for freedom. "I AM ONE OF MANY OF THE EVILS THAT WILL COME HIS WAY! THERE ARE WORSE DOWN HERE THAT WILL TAKE DELIGHT IN MAKING HIM SUFFER!"

"Maybe so." Moira agreed whilst watching him be forced back down on his knees. "But that's why god made the divine beasts in the first place—to keep evils like yourself from destroying creation."

"WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE I WILL MAKE SURE TO EAT HIS SOUL RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU AND HIS WHORES!"

Moira said nothing at that point and ignored for the rest of Lyoria fighting his restraints, her mind as calm as her grace that hummed quietly in the seals of the chains.

Goetia Palace Bath

With a most earned break from learning to fly and use some magic, there was heat and silence in the royal bath. Within this bubbling cascade of soap and dim lighting rested a tired Noctis with the primordial pup paddling happily around in the water while trying to bite the largest bubbles that formed from the jacuzzi blowers in the floor base.

He leaned against the wall and watched amusedly at how the pup was so content compared to the possessed monster he was before, his smile lifting just a little to the yips and playful growls.

"You're just a kid." He said to himself before using his wings to block a few splashes from the doggy paddling.

A deep chuckle left his breath as he realized his own control of these feathery appendages improved dramatically after hours of torturous training. He was still amazed by the fact he could fly now and do so with good precision. Banking however was still a hard feat when he kept trying earlier today to show off in front of loona and Octavia. Every attempt of dodging Stolas' aura attacks had resulted in wildly crashing into the walls and earning laughter from the girls.

Remembering that last crash, he winced to the familiar pain in his back as it washed away in the soothing heat and watched the pup some more as he paddled closer.

"Having fun?" He asked with a smirk.

The pup gave a squeak of a bark and paddled harder until Noctis was able to reach out and wrap an arm around him. Said pup panted both from such exercise and pure joy before licking the man on his face both gratefully and affectionately.

Noctis just laughed and rubbed her his head with a little bit of soap just as the door opened and closed with a familiar silhouette approaching from in the steam.

The silhouette licked her lips hungrily with a mix of adoration and greedy need as her lava-like coloration billowed freely in her hair and tail, her mind set and locked whilst feeling her body yearn for touch and attention after being in her district for the time of letting him train.

But now she needed him. She wanted him. And she would finally have her peace in this steamy bath that barely covered her undressing form.

"Okay. Okay. Let's calm down—" Noctis froze mid of his laugh, realizing he didn't know if the little guy had a name at all.

"He has no name." Beezlebub startled Noctis with her voice, smirking with crossed arms as he yelped and covered himself up in his wings.

"You again!" Noctis turned a shade of red at her presence during such a private time.

Unfortunately for the divine beast, that shade of blush darkened when Beezlebub came out of the steam in nothing with just her top arms crossed over her fur over-layered breasts. The lower two rested against her hips as she posed in a manner no other demon had seen before.

"Miss your bumblebee?" She crooned with a wink, showing the curvy of her thigh and rear while gazing lovingly through her hair. "Because I've missed you, my king bee."

The primordial only tilted his head and sniffed the air for anything suspicious about the sin whilst resting against Noctis' chest.

"What's wrong?" Beezlebub asked with faux concern, each step into the water a deliberate sway of her curves. "Can't handle your wife?"

"We are not—" Noctis froze, his breath a gasp of shock when she suddenly appeared right in front of him with all four of her arms holding him.

"Oh but we are baby." She purred against his neck, dragging a long lick that sent shivers. "Magically bound even in your past life. You are my husband."

"W-w-where's loona?" Noctis stuttered, making the glutinous queen giggle musically against the nestling of his neck.

"She's busy in a sticky situation. She won't be back to guard you for a little bit."

Noctis could only imagine what she did to Loona, and gulped thickly at how he was now trapped in the royal bath with her tiptoeing her fingers up his arm.

"I was lonely." She whined playfully. "It's not fair that I haven't been able to spend time with my hubby."

The Queen of Gluttony smiled lovingly and used the same hand to press against his cheek, feeling the flush burn on her fur as she stroked it lovingly.

"Working all week has been a pain in my ass when I have been waiting to get to you again." She purred longingly.

"What are you doing here? How did you get past the security? Stolas had barriers all over." Noctis replied questioningly.

Beezlebub laughed musically and Noctis found himself trapped even harder after the pup swam away to play in the water.

"Nobody can keep us apart again." She answered teasingly.

Noctis frowned as was about to retort but was stricken with that same pull in his body, want and need clouded with primal desire and soft moan only for him.

"N—No…..not again….."

He found himself incapable to resist completely as Beezlebub's hands reached for something more delightful for her to touch, her intention blazing in the small bite of her lip.

"Don't fight it baby. Let me help you out."

"Help me out?" Noctis asked nervously. He had a pretty good idea to where this was going but that for some reason that strong pull was confusing him if it were good or not.

Beezlebub smiled with an amount of love and care that no one ever received from her.

"Yeah baby. Your bumblebee is right here to help you relax—" she took advantage of his weakness and straddled his pelvis. "So relax and let your wifey do her thing."

Noctis tried to fight these instincts again and reject the pull but lost his strength in how the sin herself was not at all subtle about reclaiming her reincarnated husband. His hands were in her grasp and firmly pressed to her rear while the upper two cupped his face.

He struggled barely to make it stop. To his dismay however he found himself squeezing and caressing it against his will, causing the demoness to moan against his neck as tears threatened to spill from her.

"You were always so gentle back then."

Beezlebub couldn't do it, she could not restrain herself for another second. All the millenia of separation and denial caught up to her at the very moment he squeezed again, making her love for him to take control and wipe away any sense of reason.

Noctis' eyes widened for a brief second as he found her kiss forceful with her tongue now in his mouth. His pelvis felt more free when her legs wrapped around his waist, her nethers pressed to his rising shaft as he was forced to lean all the way back. He felt his back hit the warm marble, splashing the water over just before the impact shifted their bodies just right.

The shock though was when the impact dropped her right onto him, connecting their bodies entirely with one easy slide of his shaft now firmly gripped.

"Yes." Beezlebub moaned loudly in his ear. She nipped at his shoulder tentatively and stayed fully seated on her prize as it throbbed inside her. "I forgot how big you were baby."

Noctis' control was slipped away by every caring emotion this connection gave him, and it became too much for him to handle. His mind blanked with a snarl that was anything but human. He grabbed Beezlebub hard by her rear and pressed his face into her breasts, panting heavily and trying his hardest to overcome why these instincts kept exploding.

He was excited.

"That's it baby. Let me do the work." Beezlebub crooned and bounced slowly in the bath, pacing wave after wave of the water as she relished touch.

Noctis was a cloud of uncertainty, fighting between lust and logic in the bath that steamed even higher from his power now making it a bubble bath.

"Oh fuck." She moaned quietly gripping the edge of the marble to fully trap him. "I forgot how good this is. How good we feel."

Noctis had no idea how to answer that when Beezlebub was clearly lingering on the present and the past. Whatever sensation she was feeling it hers alone while he felt how tight she got the more she bounced in his lap.

"I remember this." She growled with her center eye opening. "I remember how your cock felt. Fuck!"

Noctis suddenly felt his wrists were yanked from her rear and pinned under the water. His mind cleared for but a moment before the passionate sin increased her pace so harshly it had his lower half hitting the wall with each thrust of her pelvis.

"I'm gonna fuck you so hard baby!" She snarled before laughing powerfully, tightening her hold on his entire body. "Reincarnated or not I am going to make sure you know who owns this cock!"

Noctis was even listening at this point with how clouded these instincts made him while the pup drifted to the furthest edge of the bath and disappeared in the steam. The only comprehensive sound and feeling in his mind and body was the sin herself moaning loudly with each rough motion of her pelvis while his wrists were pinned on the marble edge.

Until suddenly both of the obsidian oak doors blasted open with a kick and sent them flying right into the wall. Noctis snapped back to reality on the spot while Beezlebub clenched her whole body before the culprit stepped into the room with a very displeased Stolas right beside her.

Noctis didn't need powers to feel the danger radiating in the room when Stolas and one very pissed off Loona that glowered with honey all in her fur. Rage wouldn't even be the proper term for what she felt when she saw how Beezlebub took advantage of Noctis and pinned him with her body.

"Get….off…..him…..now." She snarled hatefully with her hackles raised.

Stolas gave the hellhound a side-glance and knowingly smirked that she wasn't just being protective of Noctis. Oh no, he could feel the jealousy from that girl as the steam in the room helped to slowly melt the honey out of her fur.

Noctis didn't even get the chance to look back after Beezlebub smirked right at Loona. The strength of a female hellhound became known when he felt Loona wrap her hand around the back of his neck and forcefully yank him out of the tub.

"Hey!"

Beezlebub did not like that one damn bit and stood up in the tub without a care as to who saw her naked form.

"Bitch that is MY HUSBAND and you are ruining a moment!"

"You're not ruining this for me again!" Loona snapped and turned to the embarrased man covering himself with his wings. "And you—"

"Oh shit." Noctis gulped thickly before she grabbed his wrist.

"March!" She growled, her eyes burning that bright red. "Or I am going to cut it off and taxidermy it!"

"I suggest you do as you're told." Stolas warned and handed the primordial to Noctis with a wave of his magic.

Said man only nodded and bolted out of the royal bath with not a care of being nude under his wings.

The sound of screaming maids was heard several halls, leading up to a slam of his bedroom door while Loona focused her anger on the irked Beezlebub glaring right back at both of them.

"How dare you come and—" Stolas froze from scolding the pouting sin when Loona suddenly lunged at her with a furious battle-cry.

"YOU'RE NOT TAKING THIS FROM ME!"

Meanwhile Noctis had his own problems after locking himself and the pup in his room and turned around stark naked after relaxing his wings.

He'd thought he was safe with only the account of blue balls after what Loona and Stolas just did, but fate had a very twisted way of making his day worse with a familiar goetia teenager standing there silently with eyes as big as dinner plates.

If there was ever a time to die it was now when he gave the same horrified look Octavia expressed.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"

They screamed in unison and scrambled around his room, Octavia shielding her eyes while Noctis dove straight into the closet and tossed the pup onto the bed.

"WHY ARE YOU NAKED!?"

"I WAS IN THE BATH GETTING RAPED!"

"WHAT!?"

"WHY ARE YOU HERE!?

"BECAUSE I LIKE SPENDING TIME WITH MY FRIEND! NOW COVER UP!"

"I'M SORRY!"

"WHY DOES YOUR DICK LOOK LIKE A MUSHROOM!"

"THAT'S NORMAL AND DON'T ASK THAT!"

"IT LOOKS FREAKISH!"

"THAT'S IT! I AM LEAVING!"

Hearing that froze the young goetia in place, and for the first time she felt something truly heavy on her heart.

Fear, an unknown tension in her chest as she dropped her sketchbook.

Back at Rosie's Emporium

Rosie had listened very intently in the small store crowd of her people that gathered for the last hour of hearing Charlie speak the whole story about Noctis. The overlord herself was perplexed by the entire explanation but nonetheless very intrigued at how such a unique person could be in their realm of suffering.

Though it was unbearingly uncomfortable for the hell princess to detail all of it, she maintained as best a professional demeanor while Alastor fiddled with his cane.

"Goodness." Rosie said amusedly and set her cup down for another pour of tea. "That is quite the story there, sweetie. To think you claimed someone so important and powerful as your mate."

"I love him." Charlie admitted with a shred of hope in her voice. "Even before he found out what he is I loved him."

"Young love." Rosie gave a dreamy look. "I remember my first love before I ate him. He was such a charmer."

Charlie cringed at the thought as Rosie laughed at her own past.

"But enough about that." Rosie said, as she put down her cup. "When you ask a favor ya don't start small, do ya, your highness?"

Charlie couldn't help but feel embarrassed at how she was begging for help to clean up her own mess.

Thankfully Rosie was quick to push said embarrassment away when smiled to them and stood up. "Oh now, don't fret sweetie."

She then walked over and gently put a hand on Charlie's shoulder to ease her. "I didn't say I wouldn't help."

"Really?" Charlie lit up with hope as Rosie spoke to Alastor in a more skeptic manner.

"But I assume there's more to this plan then a bunch of unarmed cannibals?" She questioned.

Alastor assured her. "Oh, your people will be far from helpless when we're done with them. And by the end, they will be able to eat, their, fill."

Rosie half-smired at this, and shrugged, "Well, in that case, sure! Why not?"

Charlie lit up with hope. "Really?"

Rosie nodded as she smiled at Charlie, eliminating doubt and despair of having no help at all.

"What can I say. I like your moxie, girl. Plus you moved me with your little love story with this Noctis."

Rosie then gestured to her overlord colleague.

"And old Alastor has never done me wrong before. I'm kind of excited to meet this boy in person and see that godlike power you two spoke of."

Charlie felt like she could explode with gratitude until the cheerful expression from Rosie dropped to skepticism and confusion specifically for her fellow overlord.

"But I can't fathom why Adam would go through so much trouble to get extermination day going so long ago."

Charlie looked down while Alastor leaned in with darkened glee.

"Apparently god implimented the divine beasts to maintain heaven, hell and earth. Adam proposed extermination day and when it was shut down he tricked Sera into a war and killing Noctis in his past life."

Rosie's eyes widened as she dropped her cup, to which Alastor quickly used his shadow to catch said cup and place it back on the table.

"Oh my, this isn't just about all of us. This is Noctis taking up a responsibility to our kind and for heaven."

"Quite right." Alastor nodded as his true nature darkened. "And let me just say I have no doubt the raw power Noctis will display will be quite the spectacle considering even Lucifer is apprehensive."

Rosie took that by surprise and looked down to Charlie. "How powerful did you say he is?"

"I'm not sure." Charlie admitted in a quiet voice, feeling uncomfortable about it as is. "The heaven grimoire implied cataclysmic and that his true form is larger than a mountain."

Rosie arched an eyebrow at that and asked in a comical manner. "And you are the one who is his mate, correct?"

She recieved Charlie's answer with how embarrassed she became underneath that smile. There was not just adoration in how Charlie acted just now but also genuine love and concern in those hopeful eyes that beamed with need.

"You love him that much?" Rosie smiled warmly, or whatever is equivalent for a cannibal.

Charlie had the answer already but not in the form of words. She took out to even Alastor's surprise the answer on a folded piece of paper that was tucked in her inside pocket.

She gave it to Rosie with a shaky hand in hope that there would be an understanding.

Rosie took the paper and carefully opened it to where Alastor was unable to see what secret would lie on something so simple. And what she saw on there touched her not as an overlord but as a fellow woman who once had the same desires before.

While Alastor grew annoyed at being unable to read it, Rosie read over each name written down for a boy or a girl and how some were circled with little hearts.

"You really want that?" She asked thoughtfully with giving the paper back to Charlie.

"More than anything." Charlie answered.

"Well then—" she yanked Charlie out of her seat by surprise. "You've got an army to convince."

Meanwhile at I.M.P.

"Is he...gonna be okay..." Moxxie asked cautiously after he and Millie watched Blitz go on a rampage for the entire week Loona had been gone.

Millie wasn't even sure at this point when their boss was foaming from the mouth after smashing every breakable desk in the office to vent his frustrations.

"I'm gonna kill him….." Blitz declared in a quiet tone but suddenly perked up with an idea. "No, wait. I'm gonna cut his head off and have it processed into a fucking soup bowl!"

Moxxie and Millie blinked with uncertainty as he cackled madly in the darkness of his office.

"Yeah that's it! I'll eat soup out of his skull!"

"Because…." Moxxie drawled before getting tackled by the enraged imp that now straddled his waist.

"Because he is hanging around my fucking daughter, you Christmas tree dick shaped fuckwad!"

"Blitz calm down!" Millie began prying him off Moxxie but was struggling as is with how tight the grip was on her husband's neck.

"Never!" He snarled with foam dripping his mouth.

With great effort from Moxxie bucking and Millie pulling, Blitz was prevented from another strangle session and immediately locked away in his office by the two that took immediate action of barricading the door while he was venting his parental frustration.

Backs pressed and emotions high, the two lovebirds exasperated this entire week with only little relief when they could hear him going on a rampage about killing Noctis.

"He's gonna have an aneurysm." Moxxie exhaled and slid down said barricade.

Millie couldn't agree any more but decided for her own fun to give Moxxie a bit of a scare.

"You think it's bad just because Loona is around Noctis, it's much worse because she is very determined to be with him because she has a major crush."

"What!" Moxxie barked, followed by Blitzo roaring his lungs.

"WHAAAAAAAAT!?"

———————————————————-

"Cannibals and Cannibelles, assemble in the square!" Rosie called through her megaphone, alarming the town by the aggression in her voice.

Rosie walked with Charlie to the gazebo but expressed her own uncertainty in the matter as they made their way.

"Now darling you know I would do anything, anything for my clients. But I can't exactly command all of Cannibal Town to follow someone else into battle." Rosie could not emphasize enough how important it was to them in line. "Now, don't get me wrong, they love carnage and bloodshed, but to get this group into line, you got to win 'em over."

She then called through her megaphone again just as they stopped at the steps.

"Settle in! Settle in! Important meeting!"

The cannibals formed a crowd around the gazebo, curiosity and confusion amongst all the cannibals while Charlie being unsure, decided to express her own concern.

"But how do I convince them to fight for me in order to help Noctis?"

"With sparkle! Razzamatazz! And that oh so appealing moxie of yours," Rosie answered, being chipper and supporting with a playful boop of the nose.

Alastor, as far fetched as he was in being supportive, even gave his own twisted opinion to push the princess before going up the steps.

"Shouldn't be a problem. It's not like you've ever failed to inspire before. Besides, add the truth behind all this and I'm sure you can lead an army."

Charlie lightly groaned as they go to the Gazebo, her confidence as fragile as her feelings while she received a pep talk from the charismatic cannibal.

Words alone though were hard to take to heart when Charlie could only think about two things— Noctis being ready and finally settling her differences with Vaggie.

"Now, fair warning, this group sticks together. So in order to convince any of them, you'll need to convince all of them." Rosie gestured to her people before a distasteful look came about. "And there's one in particular-"

Alastor made an audible groan, his own dislike of whoever the two had mind.

"Ugh….Susan…."

Rosie nodded, "Susan, who's a bit of an..." Rosie thought of what to say, to make it either easier or simple, "uh-"

Alastor curtly answered for her. "Ornery old bitch?"

Rosie nodded but carried faith in Charlie. "That. She's tough but win her over and the rest will be easy as pie. Ready?"

"I guess," Charlie answered, even as Rosie addressed the crowd through her megaphone with as much enthusiasm to help out.

"Everyone, we have a very special, very royal guest this evening! Please put your bloody hands together for Princess Charlie!"

Charlie smiled awkwardly and waved at the silent crowd waiting to hear what she had to say.

That is until an elderly cannibal with as much friendliness as the next porcupine spoke up by hackling the young princess before she could even start.

"Booooo, bring Rosie back!

The crowd split to reveal an elderly Cannibelle wearing a gray fox wrap around her neck and probably the oldest amongst them all.

"Susan?" Charlie asked flatly.

It didn't take much for her to understand when Rosie and Alastor had the same expression and said in unison.

"Susan."

Even Alastor growled in annoyance of that old haflf while Charlie lightly tapped the microphone, causing a brief feedback, "Sorry. Uh, okay, uh, my name's Charlie, and..."

At this point Susan began to yell over her. "Booooo!"

Charlie however kept going, despite the added stress she was recieving from Susan. "Well, I run this hotel with my part..."

"Get off the stage, you blue blood bitch!"

"Well, some people and..."

"Booo! We don't give a shit about some hotel!"

"Wait, let me start over. Angels are coming to kill us all and we need your help in keeping—"

"Leave before I eat those big-ass eyes of yours!"

"So- we, uh... we need your help-"

"Boo! Get off!"

"With your assistance we can make a stand in helping my—"

"Where's the showmanship?"

Charlie was reaching her breaking point with every insult this unfriendly cannibelle threw at her. Everything was crashing down again, the stress of the imminent attack, the potential despair of not having the help she needed.

Still she tried but thinking about her friends, her mate, and most importantly her dream for the hotel and her dream with Noctis and Vaggie.

"I….I have a dream and I-"

"Where's all the finesse?!" Susan snipped loudly with crossed arms. "Fucking mediocre!"

Charlie then couldn't take it any longer and shouted at the top of her lungs with a raised middle finger. "FUCK YOU, YOU OLD BITCH!"

This resulted in the Cannibals gasping at such rude language.

Rosie had no choice at this point but to intervene before the crowd would turn completely from Charlie.

With quick finesse she moved to the overly-stressed princess and addressed her people whilst leading Charlie away for a breather.

"Okay! We'll be back after a brief intermission."

"Yeah that's right!" Susan continued to put Charlie down. "Fuck off. Nobody cares."

Charlie made the attempt to snap back but was ushered forcefully by Rosie. All she could was rage internally with her horns flared and her hair blazing as she spoke.

"That fucking bitch! How dare she be so rude to me when I'm just trying tell them how important it is we help Noctis against Adam and exorcists and how it's gonna—"

"Let's go!" Rosie said more firmly and proceeded to push Charlie. "You need a timeout!"

Back at the Carmine Compound

Vaggie was crudely slammed onto a pillar but brushed off the pain started charging at Carmilla. Her movements were more clear than the purest water in the eyes of this maternal overlord and it annoyed her how simple Vaggie onto the floor.

Sparing not mercy or breath, Carmilla kicked Vaggie onto the floor. At this point it was like beating a dead horse when Vaggie got up and started charging again.

"You are so open to death you don't even see it!" Carmilla snapped after dodging another strike with Max still in her arm, ignoring the giggles of her hellhound grandson.

Carmilla kicked her onto the floor again. Vaggie, despite having herself beaten around and mocked was awestruck by Carmilla's graceful but precise movement. It was like watching Ballet, and she hated the dance style when it was both an art of defense and offense that she couldn't measure up to.

"Do you fuck my son better than you fight?" Carmilla asked coldly, watching the anger boil up inside.

Vaggie got up and barely had pointed her spear at Carmilla before being kicked onto the floor again. "Fuck! Ow!"

"Pathetic!" Carmilla spat hatefully. "If this is all you have to offer then I see you have no worth of being with Noctis."

Vaggie got up, only to be kicked yet again.

She tried to strike at Carmilla twice but the graceful overlord dodged both times with the same graceful ballet movements, and kicked Vaggie again.

"Come on, what is this?" Vaggie asked out frustration.

Carmilla answered harshly. "You want me to teach you how to beat angels and help Noctis. That's what I'm doing because right now you won't help him for a damn thing with how useless you are."

"By beating the shit out of me?" Vaggie asked, "I'm not used to fighting with long hair."

Vaggie charged at Carmilla, the motion still in grace and precision even when the overlord took her hairnets off, revealing her hair in full length as she fought with the same motion as before without hinderance.

"By showing you the flaws in your own fighting style. Yours and all the sisters' of the same group." Carmilla implied.

"Wait... you know I'm an exorcist?" Vaggie asked in surprise. "How?"

"You have a giant X over your eye and wield an angelic spear. It's not rocket science." Carmilla answered flatly , gesturing to both the eyepatch Vaggie wore, and also the weapon in her hands. "How is it that no one in that hotel figured it out?"

"Noctis knew." Vaggie pointed out with that awful memory back in the Heaven hotel room with Adam. "But Adam—"

"Adam revealed you." Carmilla interrupted as she circled the former exorcist. "And yet instead of the animosity Charlie still holds, Noctis still chose you over that darkness."

She circled Vaggie more, with her arms crossed around Max. "And can you at least tell me why?"

"Because he loves me."

"Precisely." Carmilla softened her expression slightly. "Enough that he is at the goetia palace to have some of his power harnessed while you are showing little to nothing in potential."

"Your point?" Vaggie gripped her spear tightly at that insult.

"My point is—" she paused to point a finger at the cage still in the corner as Clara and Odette did finishing touches. "You have yet to prove your capability or earn my blessing of you and that ignorant princess being his mates."

That was the last thing Vaggie needed reminded of when all her stress and frustrations were hindering her efforts.

"I'm trying dammit!" She snapped at the circling overlord who clearly had not a care for her trying as she spoke.

"Before you found out about me, did you know angels could be harmed?" Carmilla asked on the spot.

"No." Vaggie honestly answered. The truth and bitterness of how she had to answer that was on her face.

"It shows in how you fight." Carmilla answered, as she continued to fight with Vaggie with crude teaching. "You leave yourself open with every swing. You fight like someone unafraid of harm, and this is what you'll take advantage of."

She then got behind Vaggie and instructed crucially. "Strike them here, here and here"

"Argh! With what? Some secret weapon of yours?" Vaggie asked, getting tired of getting her ass kicked to her and her relationship mocked.

"Stupid girl, are you really so dense you don't realize you're holding the answer?" Carmilla asked smugly, gesturing at Vaggie's spear.

Vaggie looked at her spear, dawned with realization. "Angelic weapons? It's that simple? How has no one here figured this out?"

"Angelic steel isn't exactly common in this realm, and those who have it aren't exactly rushing off to test it against exorcists." Carmilla answered which made perfect sense to Vaggie.

She then remembered the last extermination, explaining, "When my daughters and I were cornered in that last extermination, I tried to buy time for my girls to flee, and well... You don't become an angelic arms dealer without arming yourself first."

She paused as she moved her pointed shoes to which they revealed to be made of angelic steel, its holy power radiating even within the laces.

"You are the greatest advantage Noctis will have."

"Me?" Vaggie questioned.

Carmilla nodded as the atmosphere began to raise. "He has the power to eliminate your former sisters, but you have the experience and knowledge. You need to let go of your past and come to face forward if you want to help Noctis."

"How?" Vaggie was on the verge of a crack in her vulnerability whilst hearing music radiate with Carmilla's prep with Max tucked away. "How can I help him when I can't even touch you!?"

Carmilla strutted forward, the metal in her pointed shoes hitting the floor, her expression hard and determined before the music came to life.

Back in Rosie's Emporium

Charlie had finally taken her moment to calm down after the ordeal with Susan but felt both humiliated and ashamed for letting herself get so bent out of shape whilst taking sanctuary in the boutique parlor with the overlord quick to react in an auntie-like fashion.

"Alright, what has you so out of sorts, Darlin?" Rosie asked the princess, while glad to be there to help her sort out her problems. "Ya clearly got more on your mind than angels."

Charlie pondered somberly the last bits of togetherness she had with Vaggie when Noctis was awake, and conflicted herself with the intimacy that clashed with animosity still within her heart.

"What do you do when someone you love lies to you about who they are?" Charlie asked, thinking of Vaggie.

Rosie perked up curiously and asked, "Romance problems?"

Charlie nodded, her uncertainty evident.

Rosie became chipper at the idea of girl talk about relationships. My specialty!"

She then joined the princess, urging her on to confess what had her so eaten up.

"Come on, dearie. Details, details!"

Charlie wasn't sure where to start, but there was no time like the present . So with a deep breath she calmed some of her nerves before giving an explanation.

"My other mate is an Exorcist angel and she never told me... while I'm trying to cope with the fact that Noctis is married to Beezlebub."

"Oh, shit!" Rosie exclaimed, surprised to hear that. "Quite the secrets. How does that make you feel?"

"Well, confused for one thing," Charlie shrugged, but then sighed, "And at the same time... angry, because we share everything, because she always supported me, and my ideas. And when he showed up he saw me as Charlie instead of Princess Morningstar and even supported me, even going out of his way to prepare for the worst when we thought Sera was evil."

She took in a breath before the emotions were poured out. "And this crap about him being married to Beezlebub because of some stupid marriage contract in his previous life is not fair at all!"

She scrunched up with anger, tears pouring out as she collapsed on the couch. "And I sympathize for Beezlebub but I hate her at the same time because we claimed him first. But she's so much perkier than me and has better curves and I'm fucking scared Noctis will leave us because I haven't forgiven Vaggie yet and that he will not want us anymore!"

She hung her head in a whimper, realizing she felt worse for believing in such things.

Even Alastor could tell she was fretting and pressed a hand on her head on, feeling both amused and slightly sympathetic for her.

"You said you love this girl and Noctis?" Rosie asked her, sympathy in her voice for the princess.

Charlie looked at her. "Yes. Or well, I..." Charlie paused before she answered, more convinced. "Yes."

"Have you ever once doubted that they loved you in return?" Rosie asked, going and taking sa seat next to Charlie who shook her head honestly. "Well, then what's the problem?"

"She took part in the very thing we've been working so hard to end!" Charlie exclaimed, clenching her fists at the lies and doubts again. "And Noctis is struggling so hard to keep himself intact because he has instincts that just take over."

Rosie thought about it then asked, "Well, isn't that silly hotel of yours all about redemption?"

Charlie thought about what Rosie said before the answer came so bluntly. "Yes."

"And do you believe in this man of yours?"

"More than anything." Charlie said with recovering determination. "It's my fault at the heaven meeting that he almost died and yet—" Finally a smile came to her. "He still chose me and Vaggie even when he had every right to leave us."

Rosie then pointed out. "Perhaps this girl, was trying to redeem herself too. And maybe that boy is sticking around because he loves you both."

Charlie countered again with her disbelief. "But she knows better than anyone that I believe in second chances, so why not tell me?"

Rosie nodded, but then calmly explained to her. "It can be difficult to admit to things you're not proud of, especially if those things hurt the ones you love.

Charlie hadn't thought of it like that and continued to listen to Rosie chirping the facts.

"She fucked up, sure. She's flawed. But, hey, who down here isn't? If there's anything I've learned, it's that words are cheap, but actions, they speak the truth. So, what have her actions said?"

"That she believes in me and what we're doing. Right now, she's off learning how to protect everything we've worked and Noctis is getting trained and I can't even pitch my hotel right!" Charlie sighed out of frustration, fidgeting with the sleeves of her shirt.

"Yes but stay with me on this." Rosie said gently, holding the princess by her hands. "Tell me what you feel with Noctis."

Charlie didn't even need to think of what she said to feel or say. Like a switch that flipped she was clean of doubts and fears when she about him.

"That I love him with all my heart and I know he wouldn't just give up and on Vaggie and me."

"And why is that?" Rosie asked.

She smiled again. "Because what Beezlebub had is just from the past. What we have with him is now and he loves us."

"Now you're catching on." Rosie praised with a playfully pinch of the giggling Princess. "Now then, how do you normally pitch your hotel?"

"By singing." Charlie answered, but looked down dejectedly, thinking back to the news a year ago at 666 News. "But that never works."

"It will work here. " Rosie reassuedwith a smile, then whispered sweetly at the princess. "Trust me. And this time start with the truth."

A few minutes later…

"Before you give your big finish I want you to give a little background of what you're going through." Rosie requested politely as she walked through the crowd with Charlie, guiding the princess back up to the gazebo with all eyes on her again.

"What exactly?" Charlie asked nervously after she took the offer of Alastor's microphone, all eyes now on her now sending her nerves sky-high.

"Show them your reason for being here." Rosie whispered before she joined Alastor to watch.

"My reason…." Charlie said to herself before remembering without a shadow of a doubt why she needed this army.

With a deep breath, her heart locked into what mattered to her and bearing her confidence fully once more, she spoke to the people.

"Hello everyone, I'm here today because—"

"Boooo!" Susan interrupted again, hackling the princess. "Get off you prissy little bitch!"

The crowd looked back at Susan while Alastor and Susan groaned in annoyance, and then back at the princess to see if she would lose composure.

To their surprise though there wasn't a flicker of uncertainty or hostility from Charlie when she glared through the parted crowd to the elderly cannibelle.

"Susan, I am the princess of hell and I am speaking. If you interrupt me again I will have your mouth taped shut." Charlie warned firmly and took another breath.

Even Alastor was surprised how composed she became.

"I'm here today because extermination day is coming sooner than expected. It will be here in about a week."

The crowd gasped and murmured with growing panic before Charlie waved her golden aura with her hand and summoned a spectral image of Noctis.

"This is Noctis, he is my mate and he is here to help save Hell from Adam."

"He looks like that human from the news a few months ago." One cannibal pointed out in the midst of the crowd, making everyone agree.

"He is that person." Charlie spoke clearly in the microphone. "Except he's not human at all, he is the reincarnation of powerful angel that happens to be the high seraphim's son."

She paused to the crowd growing with worry before continuing with nods of approval from Rosie and Alastor.

"A long time ago Noctis was known as Romna and he chose to become what we know now is a divine beast."

"A what?" Another Cannibal asked.

"A divine beast is an angel that volunteered to become something in response of protecting all creation. Noctis, in his previous life, chose to volunteer being the leviathan and to protect heaven and hell from eachother."

"Well he did a shitty job then." Susan sneered from the back. "I mean come on, your fucking mate is letting us all be killed for thousands of years."

Charlie could have bit into that bait, but she didn't, not even when the crowd murmured in agreement.

Instead she remained herself and spoke up.

"No he didn't. When god made the divine beasts Adam got jealous because nobody in heaven approved extermination day until he tricked the high seraphim into killing her own son."

The growing distrust fell immediately on every cannibal, even Susan who hardly had sympathy.

"He's the high seraphim son?" A young cannibal asked.

"He is and now he's back from the dead as Noctis, and right now he's getting trained to fight Adam and Michael."

"The archangel?" A cannibal child asked, receiving a nod from the princess.

"Yes because Adam is controlling Michael. Extermination day continues because Adam inflicted fear into the Heaven council, scaring them with the idea of being banished from their own realm if the public found out."

"So all this time….." a cannibelle paused with terrible understanding amongst her fellow demons. "Heaven is suffering like us?"

"Yes." Charlie nodded curtly. "Extermination day was never meant to happen but Adam did horrible things to make it so. He is manipulating everyone for his own fun and we are the cattle."

"Why should we believe you!" Susan shouted angrily.

"Because—" Charlie froze in realizing she almost lost her composure, and took a breath before manipulating the spectral image of Noctis to show fighting Lyoria. "Because there is a bigger threat than Adam."

The cannibals, even Rosie, leaned in and listened whilst looking at this frozen image of Noctis and this mystery angel.

"Who's that guy?" Rosie whispered.

"Lyoria." Alastor hissed with distasteful memory. "The first angel."

"But I thought—" Rosie paused when Charlie continued speaking.

"This is Lyoria, the first angel made by god but he's known by my dad and by heaven as the first flaw. He appeared shortly at the goetia palace after Noctis was injured and attacked with an army."

A cannibal raised his hand and Charlie pointed right at him. "Yes sir?"

"Why attack his own kind?"

"That's a very good question." Charlie praised before giving the answer. "Because Lyoria was made without a soul. We don't know his intentions but I know from watching personally that he is far more powerful than Adam and he wants Noctis dead."

Finally the crowd started murmuring more sensible logic of the situation, but Charlie wasn't done.

"Please help us." Charlie pleaded in a quiet voice. "Please help me and my friends fight against the exorcists because Noctis can't do it alone."

"And why should we risk our lives for someone we don't know?" Susan barked out.

Charlie was at her wits end with Susan, another outburst would only cause more problems for the princess. Instead she calmed herself once more and tightened her grip on Alastor's cane before taking breath to start her song.

Some time later….

Conflict rang about in the palace with Beezlebub and Loona still shouting more than fighting after Stolas separated the two with a bit of magic.

However the tension rose higher when Noctis finally had enough of all the craziness between two girls and took both his grimoire and the primordial pup away after getting dressed and leaving his room.

Currently, as of now, Stolas was using his magic to separate the jealous and snarling hellhound and sin from eachother after the brawl that happened in the bathroom.

If he wasn't so patient about this he would have already kicked one or the other out or maybe thrown them in the dungeon. His intentions however were to give Noctis some peace of mind from these two even as they screamed.

"Multi-colored whore!"

"Kill-shelter reject!"

"I wonder if it's too late to fight the unjudged again." Stolas muttered to him before perking up to hear the commotion that was happening down the hall.

He could hear his own daughter yelling, almost begging whoever she was talking to.

Leaning back to see out the doorway gave him a good idea as to what was going on. He saw his daughter pushing her hands against Noctis' chest and trying to stop him. Her talons scraped against the marble the harder she tried to plant herself in his path.

"Noctis you don't need to leave!"

"Leave?" Stolas said to himself and fanned his magic to keep loona and Beezlebub separated long enough to find out what is happening.

"Octavia stop." Noctis stopped in his path to the front door to glare down at the young goetia for her defiance. "I'm going home right now."

"Home?" Loona and Beezlebub said in unison from the kitchen.

"But you can't!" Octavia retorted strongly.

Noctis felt very strange. The moment he decided it was time to go home he could feel how upset Octavia was...but he didn't know how.

Octavia buried her face into his chest and hugged his waist tightly, so tightly she locked her fingers together and did what Stolas never saw his daughter do with anyone, not even with him.

"Please stay." She begged quietly, hiding her fresh tears against him. "You and Loona are my first friends."

Noctis felt his breath catch when he heard this, his glare softening.

"Your first?" He asked sadly as Stolas watched with a throbbing heart of his own?, knowing that was his doing.

There was a long moment of silence that felt to stretch forever, before Octavia finally spoke.

"You're the only ones who have spent time with me."

Noctis didn't try to pry Octavia off himself, unsure at this point if he was still here because it was instinctual or because he simply cared.

"Come on honey." He adjusted the primordial in one arm and guided Octavia away, ignoring how Loona, Stolas, and Beezlebub calmed down enough to see all this.

"I'm such a pansy." Noctis whispered to himself, unaware of the two girls both annoyed and jealous of their closeness.

Time skip: Nighttime at Hazbin Hotel…..

"So she was going to cage him?" Charlie asked as she put on pajamas more freely, allowing Vaggie to actually see her body for the first time in weeks without their indifference.

After many frustrations between both parties, the Hazbin Gang was now with an army thanks to some song and dance from Charlie after her explanation, and a little bit of effort and change on Vaggie's part. Plus the hotel was still being boarded up for safety thanks to a few cannibals that volunteered to help while the rest got ready for their weapons.

Currently the two lovebirds were finally having a little peace and quiet since Max would be staying with Carmilla, but the lack of Noctis in the bed was still making it hard for either of them to find solace in eachother.

"Yeah." Vaggie glared, remembering that awful device. "We've been too lenient with Carmilla. We gotta remember that she's an overlord."

"Do you think he will be mad at me?" Charlie asked innocently whilst staring at the ceiling.

Vaggie didn't need to think hard about that and simply chuckled.

"Oh yeah he will be pissed finding out you accidentally got Max in a deal."

Charlie was about to counter for her own defense but was stopped by the sound of someone tapping on the balcony window outside.

Startled by it, the princess yelped while Vaggie shot off the bed with her wings spread and her spear ready until the silhouette looked very familiar both physically and soundly.

They both perked up instantly.

"Noctis?"

"Yeah, get your asss outside." He responded before flapping his wings to alarm them.

Charlie and Vaggie looked at one another before they bolted outside to find their mate just floating out of reach.

"Noctis….." Charlie gasped, pressing both hands on her cheeks and smiling widely. "Baby you're flying!!!"

"Took a bit." He laughed fairly before landing in front of them. "But right now I snuck away from the palace once loona and Beezlebub—"

"Wait what?" Vaggie interrupted sharply. "Beezlebub is there even when we all agreed to leave and give you time to train?"

Noctis froze and realized he had been caught before he could even properly explain, with both girls now going from chipper to suspicious in the way they shared the same glared.

Oh shit…..

"Noctis," Charlie drawled like a stern mother, arms crossed and horns raised. "Come down now."

At this point he had no choice considering Vaggie would probably outdo him in flying. He could only imagine she got them from whatever ordeal she was able to overcome before he descended at their level.

"I know I'm in trouble."

"Obviously." Charlie and Vaggie said in unison, making him flinch.

"Did something happen?" Charlie asked coldly, radiating jealous under Hell's night sky.

Noctis looked away shamefully but nodded in the end to both girls and answered.

"I was bathing with the primordial and Beezlebub somehow got through the barriers Stolas made."

Both girls felt an intense jealousy and possessiveness in themselves at that moment.

"Did you and her….." Vaggie implied, unable to finish asking the question.

"Not willingly." Noctis answered them, which was very surprising but also a small relief when they heard him.

Noctis expected hurt, betrayal or rage when he spoke truthfully to his mates. He was certain they would get rid of him or dump him before extermination day, but here they were looking at him so symptomatic and even grabbing his hands to hold him close.

Once again he was stunned by how understanding these two mates of his could be and began to wonder just how lucky he was.

"Your instincts?" Charlie asked, pressing her lips to his hand afterward.

He could only clench his eyes and nod with tears escaping, confirming the shame behind his entire time without them.

"I'm sorry…."

"You will be." Vaggie said firmly, making the man flinch before she grinned. "Beezlebub may be part of this because of the past—"

"But we own you now." Charlie added before removing her own pajama top.

The fabric fell to the balcony floor and Noctis was both flabbergasted and happy at the same time for his two mates to be grinning so eagerly to pull him back into the bedroom.

With everything going on so fast around them, it was agreed in the darkness of the bedroom that they needed to make up lost time while they still could.

"Hope you're ready to make up for lost time." Vaggie implied with Charlie giggling in the background as the lights went out.

"Lost time?" Noctis gulped knowingly.

"Yeah." Charlie breathed against his neck after they closed the balcony window. "Lots of time."

It was gonna be a long night.
