MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC166: Condition
Chapter 166: Condition
Richard's ship wasn't moving that fast. He didn't feel the need to rush—after all, he hadn't appeared in a long time.
Throughout the journey, he spent most of his time observing his surroundings.
At least in this province, he didn't see any destruction or traces of war.
However, it was clear that the population had drastically decreased, as if many had emigrated and abandoned their homes—the small towns he passed through looked much quieter than before.
When he entered the next province, Richard finally began to see traces of war—ruined cities, damaged forests, and even massive craters that seemed to be remnants of great explosions.
Some were so large that he thought he couldn't possibly create something like that himself.
"Mm..."
As he continued flying, he noticed a new border.
Several towers stood tall, each marked with the symbol of the Holy Light Kingdom.
Structures like these were usually royal border posts.
If he continued flying straight toward the capital, he would likely pass through the territories already occupied by the Holy Light Kingdom. After all, borders were never perfectly straight.
Richard saw several Magi and Soldiers guarding those towers, watching his ship closely and seriously.
Not wanting to invite trouble, he decided to take a detour. The most important thing was to avoid crossing the border.
If there wasn't a war, there were no real restrictions on crossing between kingdoms.
This world wasn't like Earth, where entering another kingdom required official permission—such restrictions only applied during times of war to prevent infiltration.
Seeing how chaotic the world had become, Richard decided to increase his speed.
Before long, he entered the One-Star Province.
Apparently, the Two-Star Province had already become part of the Holy Light Kingdom.
That meant the capital city had now become the new border.
Naturally, Richard passed over Star Lake, where he had once captured Sterling.
Unexpectedly, the lake had completely dried up—filled with holes and cracks.
He even saw an upside-down mountain, as if it had been thrown from somewhere else.
"Boy!" Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out, making Richard's eyes widen as he saw an old, short man in a tattered robe appear before his ship.
"Master Alex," Richard said in surprise.
He hadn't expected to meet him here—let alone have him appear so suddenly.
"You've been gone for quite some time, but it seems you've truly advanced to the World Realm. Judging by the pressure of your aura, you're already close to its peak," the old man said as he landed before Richard, looking him up and down with a faint smile.
"Master Alex, your eyes are as sharp as ever," Richard replied, surprised that the old man could read his strength so clearly, even though he was suppressing his aura.
"But why did you come to see me?" he asked.
"Can't I come to see you when I just happened to spot you flying right in front of me?" Master Alex replied lightly.
"But you must already know the kingdom's situation now. Even the king has been killed," he added.
"I know... I could only mourn when I heard about it," Richard said quietly.
He knew that the late king had been both talented and powerful—among the princes of his generation, he had been the hardest to deal with.
Unfortunately, even he couldn't escape death.
As for the queen, she had been captured by the Holy Light Kingdom.
Richard naturally had thoughts of rescuing her, but he knew it wouldn't be easy. Even if he were to ask for help from the Fire Spirit Queen, there was a chance they would still fail.
The Holy Light Kingdom, still standing at its peak, clearly had Magi capable of opposing even the Fire Spirit Queen. Moreover, they possessed a number of extremely powerful Great Generals.
"Master Alex, how is Lilith?" Richard asked next.
If he wanted to know Lilith's condition, he had to ask someone who lived in the capital and held great influence.
At his question, Master Alex's brows furrowed slightly.
"Your fiancée's condition doesn't seem very good," Master Alex said. "She rarely appears in public, and whenever she does, she looks as if she's completely drained of power. I'm not sure what's happening to her. She's incredibly strong now—she can wield a Grand Weapon with ease and even suppress the Rulers. There's no reason she should have any problems without fighting... but that's what's happening. Some suspect she's having trouble controlling the royal inheritance, but from what I've observed, there's no such issue. The inheritance has merged perfectly with her."
"How could that be?" Richard muttered, clearly puzzled.
"It's hard to say... You'd better see her yourself," Master Alex replied.
Richard nodded, deep in thought.
It seemed that Lilith truly needed his help with this matter—which must have been why she had asked him to come to her as soon as he completed his training.
'It shouldn't be life-threatening,' Richard thought, 'since she's still able to appear from time to time.'
Before long, the capital, built upon the mountains, came into view.
There was no visible destruction—the city looked intact.
However, much like the other cities he had passed, the capital seemed to have suffered a population decline, clearly because many people had chosen to leave.
The capital, which was supposed to be the safest place, now bordered directly with the Holy Light Kingdom.
In peaceful times, this might not have been an issue—but sadly, everyone knew that war could break out again, especially if Prince Charles of the Holy Light Kingdom continued to be rejected by Lilith.
Richard decided to store his ship away and continue flying on his own.
"Boy, I won't go with you to the palace," Master Alex said.
Richard nodded and continued his flight until he reached the palace gates.
"Stop!"
A middle-aged man with a muscular build suddenly appeared before him, blocking his way.
"Who are you? What business do you have at the palace?" the man demanded sharply.
It turned out to be Paul, the commander of the Sky Armor Legion in the capital.
His sharp eyes scanned Richard, clearly not recognizing him.
"Commander Paul, have you forgotten me? I'm Richard. Of course, I've come to see Princess Lilith—no, I mean, Queen Lilith," Richard said with a polite smile.
This commander had helped him more than once, so Richard naturally remained respectful.
"Richard?" Commander Paul repeated, as if recalling someone from long ago.
For a moment, his eyes flickered in thought.
He looked Richard up and down, as though confirming the truth of his claim.
At the same time, he seemed to receive a message through his Sixth Sense.
That message made him nod immediately.
"Sir Richard, please enter. Her Majesty the Queen is waiting for you," he said, stepping aside and gesturing for Richard to proceed.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC167: The Problem
Chapter 167: The Problem
Lilith noticed his arrival, and Richard felt somewhat relieved—it meant her condition wasn't as bad as he had feared.
Paul escorted him to the entrance of the palace, which was closed, unlike how it usually was.
Paul pushed the heavy doors open slightly and gestured for Richard to enter.
Richard stepped inside without hesitation. After all, this palace had practically become his second home since his fiancée had ascended as the reigning Queen.
He passed through the door into the palace hall—spacious, enclosed, yet brightly illuminated by the light of numerous crystals.
The figure of a blonde woman sitting atop the throne immediately caught his attention.
She wore a long, tight-fitting dark blue gown, with lace wrapped elegantly around her slender waist.
Her face was still breathtakingly beautiful, untouched by age, and her aura still carried a youthful grace.
Richard saw no sign of weakness or suffering as Master Alex had described.
"Boy, you finally showed up," Lilith said from her throne.
Her tone toward him hadn't changed since he was a child, though Richard could tell from her eyes that she was quietly examining him from head to toe.
Even if her attitude seemed the same, he knew her view of him had changed—he was no longer the boy she once knew.
"Sister Lilith, what happened to you? I heard you wanted to see me urgently, and I also heard that your condition wasn't good," Richard said as he approached.
To him, the time when Lilith would truly become his was drawing near—but this wasn't the right moment. There were still too many problems to solve.
"This isn't even my real body," Lilith replied.
The moment she said that, Richard suddenly realized her form was faintly transparent.
"Is that... a manifestation?" Richard was stunned. He hadn't expected a manifestation to appear so vividly—almost like real flesh and blood.
Of course, if this was truly a manifestation, then Lilith indeed wasn't doing well.
"Do you remember the Werewolf Alpha I once told you about?" Lilith continued.
Richard instinctively nodded.
He had nearly forgotten, but her words brought the memory back.
Evan Moonshadow, his own uncle—that was the Werewolf Alpha she meant.
Richard had no idea what had happened afterward since Lilith hadn't involved him in handling the Werewolf.
All she had asked of him was help in mastering Mind Attack.
Lilith had explained before that Evan Moonshadow couldn't control the Alpha power within him—a natural problem, since even among the Werewolves, such control was incredibly difficult.
It was a serious issue, for the Alpha Bloodline was tremendously powerful—one comparable to that of dragons, still an Ancestral Bloodline, but among the strongest of its kind.
When that bloodline fully awakened, the Werewolf Alpha would instantly become unimaginably powerful.
Even in the initial stage of awakening, their strength was already equivalent to a Ruler, and that was only temporary before they grew even stronger.
"Sister Lilith, back then you wanted to save him using Mind Attack. Did it work?" Richard asked.
Lilith had never asked him to use Mind Attack on Evan Moonshadow himself—she had intended to do it personally once she mastered the technique.
By the time Richard began his training, she had already seemed confident in her control over it.
Richard assumed that confidence meant success.
The main issue with Evan Moonshadow had been his loss of sanity—Mind Attack was meant to reassert control over his mind.
Lilith shook her head at his question, causing Richard to frown slightly.
"I only managed to calm him," Lilith said. "For over nine years, one of my clones stayed outside his prison, continuously using Mind Attack, trying to help him regain control over his consciousness. But around six months ago, I discovered that his mind had grown so strong that my clone could no longer restrain it, so I had to convert that clone into my main body. As time passed, I began struggling to maintain control over my other two clones because I had to continuously use Mind Attack at full force. In short, the Alpha Bloodline has completely awakened. His power is terrifying. The only reason my Mind Attack still has any effect is that it had already infiltrated his mind long ago. I once tried using Heavenly Water to boost my strength, but even that didn't help."
It took Richard a few moments to process everything she said.
Of course, he understood—it wasn't complicated. He nodded twice thoughtfully.
"Then, what can I do to help?" he asked.
By his estimation, Lilith's mastery over Mind Attack was at least 1%, but the difference between hers and his was in scale—how many targets could be affected simultaneously.
Lilith was stronger than he was, so naturally, her Mind Attack was far more potent, especially considering she had used Heavenly Water to empower it.
That meant his own Mind Attack wouldn't be of much use, even if he boosted it with his own Heavenly Water.
'I wonder if the Blood Devourer could help...' Richard thought, an idea forming in his mind.
For now, though, he wanted to hear Lilith's thoughts first.
"Do you really think you can help me?" Lilith replied—a response Richard hadn't expected, making him roll his eyes slightly.
"Didn't you call me here to help?" Richard asked, tilting his head in confusion.
"No. I told you to come as soon as possible because there's something I need to discuss—but it has nothing to do with this," Lilith said. "I already have a plan for this matter. Since the Moonshadow Clan has entrusted Evan entirely to me, I can do whatever I want with him. My plan is to release him in the Holy Light Kingdom's capital."
Richard: "..."
"Sister Lilith, then what is this something you wanted to discuss?" Richard asked, now curious about the true reason for her summons.
"We'll discuss that later. Since you're already here, if you have any ideas regarding Evan, we can try them. You might even gain something from this," Lilith replied.
"Can I see him first?" Richard asked.
"Of course..." Lilith nodded.
"Go to the Empress' Village. Beneath that village lies a massive underground prison—Evan is being held there."

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC168: Heavy
Chapter 168: Heavy
What Richard didn't know was that ever since he appeared in front of the palace, news of his arrival had already spread throughout the entire capital.
People might not have talked about him for a long time, but no one had forgotten his name—his achievements as a child were too remarkable to fade away.
And today, he had finally transformed into a full-grown man.
Many were curious about what Richard looked like now, and when he stepped out of the palace, he was surprised to find a huge crowd outside the courtyard.
They had gathered there just to see him. Some were even sketching his appearance right on the spot.
Unprepared for such attention, Richard chose to leave quickly—this time using his flying ark instead of flying on his own.
He didn't hesitate to consume a large number of Nature Spirits to maximize the ark's speed, shortening his journey significantly.
Red Star Empress Village.
When he arrived there again, what he found was no longer a village filled with grand castles, but ruins and collapsed structures.
Seeing it in such a state, Richard couldn't help but feel sorrow for the Red Star Empress, whom he regarded as a wise consort.
His flying ark descended into the deserted village, and he saw no one around.
It was hard to believe that beneath this place lay an enormous underground prison.
Whoosh!
Richard leapt toward a well that looked small from the outside and contained no water—only darkness and thin air.
Lilith had told him this was the entrance, so he jumped right in.
His body plummeted at incredible speed, and he even chose to accelerate his descent.
BANG!
He landed hard on a concrete floor.
In front of him was a staircase leading further down.
He started descending the long staircase—about two hundred meters—until he reached a vast basement.
His eyes flickered in awe as he looked around; it was unlike anything he had ever seen before.
The entire floor of the basement was filled with cracks, revealing that it was actually the upper part of a gigantic cage.
Inside, Richard saw nothing but piles of giant skeletons—no sign of life remained.
He descended into the cage, which was divided into many chambers.
After some exploration, he noticed a tunnel below.
Whoosh!
He moved toward it and entered.
It wasn't dark, nor was it particularly long.
There, Richard saw Lilith standing motionless—like a statue—in front of a wolf shackled by chains on its arms and legs.
This wolf was different; its body resembled that of a human, marking it as a werewolf.
Of course, that was only its partial form—its true nature was still that of a beast.
Its fur shimmered in a mix of silver and gold, gleaming beautifully, yet even in its calm state, the aura it released was oppressively terrifying.
Fortunately, its eyes were tightly closed, as if in deep slumber.
Although this werewolf was technically his uncle, Richard found it hard to feel any familial connection while looking at him in such a form.
"Do you have a plan, boy?" Lilith suddenly asked, her gaze fixed on him.
Though she needed focus, a brief conversation wouldn't interfere.
"Sister Lilith, what would happen if a Slave Seal were placed on him?" Richard asked in return.
"His primal instincts would reject it, even if it meant his death," Lilith replied.
"So that's not a good idea," Richard muttered.
Their goal wasn't merely to subdue him—but to save him, or perhaps gain benefit from the Alpha Werewolf's power.
"In short, conventional methods won't work."
"What about the Blood Devourer Arcane Art?" Richard asked next.
Rather than using it immediately, he decided to discuss it with Lilith first.
The woman was visibly taken aback upon hearing that, giving him a strange look.
"You've mastered it?" she asked.
"Of course. If I use the Heavenly Water's power, I should be able to match this Werewolf's level," Richard answered.
"You're sure you want to use it?" Lilith asked, to which Richard only responded with a faint smile.
Lilith thought he meant using the Heavenly Water itself—something that would cost him his greatest life-saving trump card.
But in truth, he would only consume its energy.
Though replenishing it was difficult, he had no issue doing so. The infinite regeneration of the Heavenly Water was what truly mattered.
"I'll give it a try," Richard said softly.
He could feel the hidden energy of the Heavenly Water within him—far greater than his own strength.
With a thought, he drew that energy into his body.
Buzz!
A golden light erupted from him, releasing such immense pressure that Lilith instinctively stepped back.
Although it was external power, it didn't throw his aura into chaos. It was perfectly controlled—no explosions, no erratic phenomena.
Richard continued to radiate golden light. His form didn't change at all.
The only difference was the power he now felt surging through him.
He wasn't sure how many times stronger he had become—only that it was beyond imagination.
Richard raised his hand toward the werewolf before him.
Blood streamed from his fingertips, forming the head of a monstrous creature with a wide, gaping maw clearly meant to devour.
Whoosh!
It swallowed the werewolf whole.
Richard frowned slightly afterward.
He tried to draw the werewolf's blood. When he had done so with Sterling, it was easy.
But this time, even with his drastically increased strength, he found the werewolf's blood as solid and heavy as fused steel—impossible to pull out.
Is this Werewolf still far stronger than me? Richard wondered.
BANG!
Moments later, the blood construct exploded as Richard ran out of Heavenly Water energy—it couldn't last long.
His aura returned to normal, the golden light around him fading away.
There were no side effects. Richard didn't even feel weak—only part of his Aether had been drained.
Still, he couldn't help but feel frustrated by his failure.
"It seems there's no other way," Lilith said calmly, unsurprised.
Clearly, she hadn't expected much to begin with.
And Richard couldn't say anything in response.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC169: Counter Attack
Chapter 169: Counter Attack
Richard left the underground prison and made his way back to the capital at a leisurely pace.
Lilith had made her decision. She would do this to take revenge on the Holy Light Kingdom—and use it as an opportunity to strike back.
She traveled alone, bringing Evan Moonshadow with her.
She even planned to sacrifice her clone, as it was highly unlikely she would survive once Evan's Mind Attack was unleashed—now that his Bloodline had essentially awakened in full.
According to Lilith's plan, she would issue the command to reclaim the territories lost to the enemy while chaos erupted in the capital of the Holy Light Kingdom.
The odds of success were high, for without the assistance of powerful Magi from their capital, it would be extremely difficult for the Holy Light Kingdom to defend its lands.
At lower levels, the two kingdoms' forces were evenly matched. The only imbalance lay among their upper-tier powers.
By the time Richard reached the capital again, the sky had begun to darken.
DING!
(Your mastery over Mind Attack has increased from 20% to 33%!)
Mind Attack (33%)
All of a sudden, Richard received a notification he hadn't seen in a long time.
Today, the System had finally granted him another improvement—and it was for Mind Attack! He couldn't help but smile widely.
Whoosh!
Instead of heading to the palace, he leapt into the city, wearing a long hooded robe—not really disguising his face, just concealing it slightly.
Whatever was happening between the two kingdoms, he simply wanted to relax for now—to enjoy some good food, something he hadn't done in a long while.
After walking for some time, he arrived at a district filled with luxurious restaurants.
He entered one of them, sat on the balcony where a large table awaited, and ordered the entire menu.
All he wanted was to indulge his taste buds.
From roasted meats to fried duck, from crabs to lobsters—the combined aroma of the feast was almost intoxicating.
He began eating quickly.
"Have you forgotten the pleasures of the mortal world during your training, Richard?"
As he ate, a man appeared—a tall figure with long blond hair, an elegant face, and a spotless white robe, holding a feather fan in his hand.
"William Anderson?" Richard was slightly surprised to see him.
He was the man ranked Fourth in the Monster World Rankings before Richard had appeared, and the owner of the shop where Richard had once bought the Echo of Wave, an artifact that amplified sound-based attacks and communication.
"So, you still remember me," the man said with a faint smile, taking a seat across from Richard.
"Of course, I remember you. Did you come here on purpose to find me?" Richard asked curiously.
"This restaurant is mine. I was already here before you arrived. I needed some time to make sure it was really you," William replied.
"Of course I wanted to meet you. It seems you've been training well. Many doubted your achievements after your disappearance, but I'm sure they'll be shocked soon enough." He added this with a thin smile, his eyes studying Richard from head to toe.
Richard felt slightly uncomfortable under his gaze but maintained a calm expression.
"My only goal is to become stronger, not to impress anyone," he replied.
"A good mindset," William said. "Most young people these days crave recognition more than true power."
Richard didn't respond after that and focused on his food.
He was, of course, uncomfortable being watched while eating, but since the man had approached him kindly, he couldn't just tell him off.
He could only pretend nothing was wrong.
But to his surprise, he suddenly noticed a familiar woman walking up the stairs to the third floor—an elegant lady with her hair neatly pinned and dressed in a crimson gown.
Sophia Whitewater, his father's mistress.
She appeared to have just finished dinner, alone.
Her gaze instinctively turned toward Richard and William.
Then she narrowed her eyes at Richard, as if she recognized him but wanted to be sure.
Richard hoped she wouldn't recognize him—but that was impossible. She had seen him too many times. She could easily identify him from his face alone.
Moments later, she showed a look of surprise—and then walked directly toward him.
"So it really is you?" she said with a slight smile.
The last time they met, she had seemed awkward around him—but perhaps enough time had passed for that awkwardness to fade.
"Lady Whitewater, how have you been?" Richard greeted politely.
"I've been fine, of course..." she replied, though her eyes drifted toward William, subtly signaling him to switch seats.
Fortunately, William didn't refuse. He stood up, offered Sophia his seat, and walked away.
As the restaurant owner, he seemed to prioritize his guests over himself.
"You know, you've been gone for quite a while," Sophia said after sitting down.
"Has it really been that long?" Richard replied.
"Perhaps not, but a lot has happened. This era is drawing closer to its peak," she said.
"Do you remember Gray, who ranked second in the previous tournament? He's achieved even greater feats since your disappearance. He joined the Order of the Peak World and became one of its upper-class members."
"Him?" Richard was slightly surprised to hear that.
After all, the Order of the Peak World was no ordinary faction—it was one of the greatest powers in the Eastern Region, second only to the Order of the Crimson Veil.
They had even produced two Grand Sovereigns.
"There's also your mother's adopted daughter. She's about your age, isn't she? But I'd say her strength now is probably not below yours."
"You're serious?" Richard said, his expression incredulous.
This woman was clearly talking about Grace.
Of course, she was the same age as him. The last time he saw her, she had just become a Magus, while he had already reached the Peak of Life Aether.
How could she possibly be on par with him now?
"You see," Sophia continued, "there are certain ways to accelerate one's growth—like what Queen Lilith did. By merging with a special inheritance, one's power can rise rapidly. However, such inheritances often reject World Magic Aether, meaning the person will lose their chance to become a Grand Sovereign. Those who take that path follow the Ancient Sovereign Route."
"I see..." Richard nodded, understanding what had happened.
In the end, Rebecca's purpose in adopting Grace was to aid her.
If Rebecca had continued to care for him, Richard suspected she would have forced him onto that same path.
(Awooooo...)
Suddenly, Richard heard a wolf's howl—faint yet clear—coming from a great distance.
He could vaguely sense an overwhelming aura, filled with endless killing intent.
"What was that?" Sophia asked in surprise.
Richard frowned, wondering if Lilith hadn't reached the Holy Light Capital yet—perhaps that was why the howl echoed so far.
Or perhaps it was from the Holy Light Capital itself—the roar was so loud it could be heard all the way here.
"By order of Her Majesty the Queen, a counterattack will be launched against the Holy Light Kingdom to reclaim our lost territories! Non-military participants will be rewarded with points exchangeable for Codexes, Arcane Arts, treasures, and resources!"
A booming voice suddenly resounded from outside, spreading throughout the capital via the city's formation network.
The announcement immediately confirmed Richard's suspicion—the howl had indeed come from the Holy Light Kingdom's capital.
"Lilith actually launched a counterattack..." Sophia muttered in shock.
"Right now, chaos has broken out in the Holy Light Capital! Their experts won't be able to assist—and even if they survive, they'll be gravely injured! This is our chance for a decisive strike!"
The voice echoed again, clearly trying to rally the citizens.
The royal soldiers likely moved out immediately—but they would need help from civilian fighters.
This time, Richard saw several Magi in the restaurant rise from their seats.
"Let's join them. I've long had enough of the Holy Light Kingdom."
"Yeah, they took my home and wouldn't even let me retrieve my family keepsakes."
These Magi weren't weak—they were all in the World Realm.
After a brief exchange, they soared into the sky.
To Richard's surprise, William joined them too.
Judging by his speed, he was clearly heading into battle as well.
From other parts of the city, Richard saw numerous figures taking flight.
For the first time, he realized how many World Realm Magi actually existed—he had always thought there were few, since even most governors were only in that realm.
As for Magi who couldn't fly, he saw them mounting giant birds that swiftly carried them away.
When they exited the city, their routes naturally diverged.
Knowing that he intended to marry Lilith, Richard understood he, too, had to take action.
Whoosh!
He summoned Athena from his Dragon Hall, and the mighty steed immediately appeared before the balcony.
"Lady Whitewater, I'll be taking my leave," Richard said to Sophia before leaping onto Athena's back.
"Let's go!" He tapped the horse's shoulder.
Swish!
Athena shot into the sky at full speed—far faster than the last time Richard had ridden her.
The massive capital stretched beneath them, but they crossed it within seconds.

MY SYSTEM INCREASES MY POWER EVERY DAY WITHOUT MISSIONS AND LEVELLINGC170: Power
Chapter 170: Power
As Richard crossed the border of the capital, he immediately saw numerous Holy Light Kingdom military bases—towering structures resembling high spires.
BANG! BANG!
Even though Athena was flying extremely fast, some had arrived before him. They directly attacked those towers.
"How dare you!" a thunderous voice roared from one of the towers as a tall, thin old man appeared.
He held a wooden staff shaped like a serpent, his crimson eyes radiating a chilling light.
Just his gaze alone was enough to make many of the Magi who had flown from the capital tremble in fear.
He was a Grimoire Realm Magus.
Richard observed the Magi leaving the capital, but around here, it seemed there were only World Realm Magi.
William Anderson should be in the Grimoire Realm too... but it looks like he went to deal with a stronger base, he thought.
"Hm!"
Richard pulled out the Ignis Volt Core, which had already evolved to a higher level.
He channeled massive amounts of fire and lightning into it.
The core could hold as much as he wanted—it had no limit.
If he wanted to make it even stronger, he only needed to add an Elemental Spirit, but for now, his own Aether would suffice.
As the fire and lightning filled the golden coin-like artifact, it began to vibrate faintly.
Richard then aimed it toward the old man.
The Ignis Volt Core instantly flared up, emitting a red-purple light so bright it could blind anyone who looked at it.
Though it was night, that light illuminated the entire sky.
The Core then transformed into a beam of superheated energy, one that shredded through space and time itself.
The light of that beam was brighter than the sun.
In fact, the space around it melted like ice exposed to fire.
From the Ignis Volt Core to the old man, the laser didn't even take an instant—
it was faster than a blink.
Though the beam was small, the moment it hit the old man, it expanded violently.
His entire body melted into nothingness.
Even his serpent staff—a Tier 4 weapon—was obliterated.
As for his other treasures, there was no need to mention them; even his storage artifact was completely destroyed.
And the laser didn't vanish there—it pierced everything behind the old man, annihilating everything in its path, including the Holy Light Kingdom base.
Except for the ground, everything the laser touched disintegrated, and the beam grew larger each time it hit something, leaving not just holes but complete erasure.
Swish!
When it finally disappeared, the sky went dark again, but thick black smoke billowed upward.
Everything happened too quickly—faster than a blink—
yet everyone saw it clearly.
They stared at Richard with utter disbelief.
Most people didn't recognize him, but some did.
Richard knew he couldn't avoid attention now, something he never liked.
Before anyone could speak, he moved.
He wasn't here just to fight random battles. His true value lay in hunting powerful enemies.
As he traveled farther, he found larger military bases.
The Holy Light Kingdom hadn't merely seized territory—they wanted to completely dominate it.
Richard saw numerous formations being constructed in the cities that once belonged to the Starlight Kingdom.
But what surprised him even more was how well-coordinated the counterattack was.
It seemed that many of the Starlight Kingdom's soldiers had already infiltrated enemy territory, disguising themselves as civilians and waiting for this exact moment to strike.
Lilith had clearly been preparing this counterattack for a long time.
However, the Holy Light Kingdom's forces were also numerous.
Their troops clashed fiercely with those of the Starlight Kingdom.
Since he didn't see any powerful Magus around, Richard stopped in one of the cities where a brutal battle between the two armies was taking place.
It was easy for him to distinguish them by the difference in their armor designs.
After observing the fight for a while, Richard decided to act.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
He summoned shadow wolves—dozens of them.
Each wolf even had wings, and their massive bodies towered like giants.
Compared to one of them, Richard looked like a mere child.
He summoned fifty shadow wolves—the maximum number he could currently create, as his mastery of Hundred Shadow Monsters had reached only 50%.
"Slaughter every enemy!"
At his command, all fifty wolves stormed into the city.
The city was large, but their sheer presence was enough to shake it to its core.
Yet their targets were clear—the enemy soldiers, who vastly outnumbered the Starlight troops.
With Richard's current power and his ability to reinforce them through his energy, even World Realm Magi struggled against several of the wolves.
As for Life Aether Realm Magi, they were completely massacred.
Richard simply watched from above.
Of course, those in the city were aware of his presence.
It wasn't hard to track, since his energy continuously flowed into the wolves, making it obvious he was their master.
"Attack him!" one World Realm Magus shouted.
"I can't—I'm already fighting!" another replied.
"You damned brat, stop right there!"
A furious voice suddenly echoed from afar.
Richard turned to see an old man in a white robe flying toward him at high speed.
Light radiated from his body, making him look divine and oppressive.
Richard assumed this man was likely a member of the Holy Light Royal Family.
But clearly, he wasn't a high-ranking one—he was already an old man and only in the Grimoire Realm.
Richard didn't think he'd be hard to kill. At most, it would take a Mind Attack.
As the old man approached, Richard unleashed his Mind Attack.
Instantly, the man's eyes went wide. His speed dropped by ninety percent, and the holy light around him flickered out completely.
"Die."
Richard's right fist transformed—scales spread across it, and it grew larger.
