The room had become very quiet.
Not awkwardly quiet.
Warm quiet.
The kind that only existed when two people became completely comfortable sharing the same space.
Mo Wan still sat sideways on Zero's lap, one arm loosely around his neck while his hand rested gently against her waist. The ocean breeze drifting through the open windows carried faint traces of salt into the room, cooling the warmth gathering between them.
But neither of them paid much attention to the wind anymore.
Especially not after Zero leaned closer again.
Mo Wan immediately noticed the look in his eyes.
"…No."
Zero blinked innocently.
"No what?"
"You know exactly what."
"…Maybe."
"That means yes."
Despite her warning, his lips brushed lightly against the edge of her ear again.
A soft sound escaped her instantly.
"…Ah…"
The sensation made her shoulders tense slightly before relaxing again against him. Warmth spread visibly across her cheeks while she tried very hard to maintain composure.
