Chapter 192 - Chapter 189: Escaping the Planet! Taking Robin to Aurum Alley

Chapter 189: Escaping the Planet! Taking Robin to Aurum Alley.

By the seashore.

A long trail of footprints was left behind.

Within these past few hours, many thoughts had surfaced in Robin's mind.

According to previous investigations, the game Honkai: Star Rail possessed a quality that could predict the future. In the plot, the next stop the Astral Express was about to visit was—Penacony. This would undoubtedly bring more Dreamseekers carrying their dreams.

If everything was exactly as she had seen, then the Dream Master had absolutely no reason to boycott this game! Unless the Dream Master was hiding something from her… and there were things within the Family that she didn't know about!

At this thought, Robin took a deep breath and gave a self-deprecating laugh.

"It's been a long time since I've been this willful…"

"It's probably because that news was too sudden."

"Next, I'll rely on myself to investigate… just what the Family is hiding…"

Although Robin was a universe-renowned idol, she was actually still a young girl. Her previous willful escape from the Family was more of an emotional vent. Now that she had completely calmed down and decided on the path she would take in the future, her gaze gradually became firm.

"Time to go back. I shouldn't let my brother worry about me anymore."

Just as she was about to head back along her footprints, she saw a faint trail of cooking smoke rising from the woods ahead. A fresh fragrance wafted over.

"There are people here too?"

Robin cautiously stepped forward to check. She found a man barbecuing in a new clearing within the forest. On another fire, a pot of clear soup was simmering.

Seeing that the other party was dressed decently and looked harmless, Robin lowered her guard and stepped out from the shade of the trees.

"What are you making? It smells quite good."

While on the spacecraft, Robin had changed into a wig and put on glasses. She basically didn't have to worry about being recognized. As for whether the other party had any ill intentions… Robin was naturally no pushover. The power of Harmony was not merely reflected in song.

"Come over and have a bite?"

The man smiled gently at her, seemingly not at all surprised by her appearance, like a big brother from next door in a rural village.

"Then… thank you."

Robin lightly held her skirt and sat down on a nearby rock. Looking at the clean-cut man before her, she felt it was somewhat incredible. A strange planet, a chance encounter with a polite stranger—an occasional journey like this was actually quite nice.

The man asked, "Had a fight with your family, so you came out to clear your head?"

Robin nodded somewhat sheepishly.

The man smiled again. "Sometimes, even those closest to us find it hard to understand our thoughts. But it doesn't matter. Just do what you believe is right."

As he spoke, Lin Yu served a bowl to Robin.

Robin took small sips. The taste was fresh and fragrant, and a faint light sparkled in her eyes.

"It's delicious."

Robin also smiled at Lin Yu. She originally wanted to pay some Credit Points, but suddenly felt that doing so would be too stiff and would ruin the wonderful atmosphere of this chance encounter. Looking at the man's attire, he didn't seem like a native of this planet. He was probably like her, discovering this undeveloped planet while out for a stroll.

Robin took out her phone and changed the subject, "By the way, do you play Honkai: Star Rail?"

Lin Yu replied, "Of course. It's the hottest game in the entire universe right now."

Robin launched the game and opened her character panel, saying with a bit of pride, "I have quite a lot of characters with full Eidolons. Want to add me as a friend?"

Lin Yu cooperatively showed a look of surprise. "I can actually run into a pro player while having a picnic? We definitely have to add each other!"

The two added each other as friends and began chatting about the game content of Honkai: Star Rail. Before they knew it, the sky had turned dark.

Robin stretched lightly. Not only had the previous gloom been swept away, but she hadn't been this happy and relaxed in a long time! She felt extremely free when she was with this person. She was no longer a star, but an ordinary girl of the same age.

"I didn't expect you to have such a deep understanding of the music in Star Rail as well…"

"Unfortunately, the people around me don't really like this game. The elders at home have even forbidden us from touching it again. If it were you, what would you do?"

Lin Yu rubbed his chin, thought for a moment, and replied, "Me? I'd play it secretly, of course. And I'd investigate why they hate this game so much. Could it be that this game would cause them to lose something?"

Robin's mouth opened slightly, a flash of pleasant surprise in her eyes.

"You think exactly like I do!"

Robin tentatively reached out her hand, and Lin Yu immediately understood.

Clap!

The two shared a perfect high-five. Robin's cheeks were slightly flushed, and her hands pretended to casually brush the edge of her skirt. Fortunately, this planet had a day-night cycle, and as it was getting dark, the person beside her shouldn't have noticed…

Meanwhile, the corner of Lin Yu's mouth curled up slightly. Seeing that the atmosphere was about right, he said, "Want to experience something even more exciting?"

Robin was startled. "What is it…?"

Lin Yu raised his hand, and a teleportation portal appeared before them. Behind the door was Aurum Alley of the Xianzhou Luofu.

As his "territory," Lin Yu could teleport back at any time. The reason he opened a portal was to invite Robin.

Robin looked at Lin Yu in surprise.

Lin Yu said, "Passing through this door will take you to Aurum Alley on the Xianzhou Luofu. Do you dare… to escape this planet with me?"

Robin's eyes widened slightly, and her breathing became a bit rapid. She knew that there were definitely Family security forces waiting for her return outside this planet. Even during her rare relaxation, people from the Bloodhound Family were following her. Once she stepped through this door, it would mean truly escaping the Family's control.

This was undoubtedly a very bold act. However, this kind of thing was not a first for Robin.

The man before her had a clear gaze. Was he an employee of the IPC? Or a Pathstrider of [ The Trailblaze ]? Or perhaps, a gamer from some world?

But Robin wouldn't ask now. Just as the man had never asked about her identity.

Robin hesitated for a moment. Finally, she nodded.

"Wait for me a moment."

Robin composed a text message and sent it to her brother, Sunday.

[ Brother, by the time you see this message, I will have already headed to the Xianzhou Luofu. I met a very good friend who invited me on an incredible journey. Just consider it a small bit of willfulness from your younger sister. Don't worry, I will keep in touch with you at any time… ]

After sending it, Robin turned around.

Lin Yu gentlemanly extended a hand. Robin smiled openly, and the two entered the portal together.

In the next moment, Robin looked around in disbelief.

"We… really came to the Luofu? This is… Aurum Alley?"

The streets ahead were brightly lit. The down-to-earth snack street was already filled with the sounds of hawking!

Robin looked at Lin Yu in pleasant surprise. "How did you do it? Could it be that like the Trailblazer in the game, you can use Space Anchors?"

"Hahaha, you can think of it that way. Come, let me show you the night market on our Luofu!"
