Last time on TWDTWSIS
Mason gazes into the distance as a silly grin crawls onto his face.
"Well....Fuck."
Mason's eyes start to glow gently, but even in the light, in the dark, they shine faintly, only seeing a dark silhouette surrounding bright violet eyes. Rick gets his attention, and Mason turns to him and asks what's up, cracking a smile at him.
Until Rick tries to tell him to stay there, at which point, he frowns and says. "Yeah, that's not gonna happen. I'm coming with you; you seem like the type to fire a weapon in a city, and have a horde of those things crowd around you.
They're now predators and wild animals; consider them rabid dogs that are hard to kill unless you know how to put them down. I can teleport, and I can shrink things, I can heal us, and anyone we meet."
Rick can't seem to argue with that logic, so he gives in, but feels insulted and self-conscious, as they prepare to head to the police department the next day.
They lie on separate pallets and sleep through the night, but Mason stays up for a while practicing wand-less magic until he falls asleep, setting a magical alarm to wake him up in the morning.
~The Next day~
"Alohomora Duo."
The door lock clicks and swings open, and they slowly and cautiously walk in, Mason with a wand drawn and a Diffindo on his lips as they move silently through the sheriff's station and to the armory and showers, and mason unlocks everything with a spell and grabs a bulletproof vest and puts it on under his scrubs, and he says.
"I don't want a Gun. I don't know how to use it, and we don't have the time currently for you to try to teach me how to use it. I would only waste bullets; I'll use my wand."
He ended it with a smile, putting on the top of his scrubs, and looked for some boots and a knife, and as he found them, he saw a panel.
"Yes, sign in," he mutters to himself as he is putting the combat boots on his feet.
"Hmm, Based on her role as Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and her reputation as a powerful and respected witch, Amelia Bones likely knew and utilized a wide range of spells beyond general combat magic. Some specific types of spells include: Investigation and Detection Spells: Spells for detecting curses and dark magic traces, revealing hidden objects or individuals, and identifying spellcasters are crucial for solving magical crimes.
Containment and Restraint Spells: Powerful spells to subdue and capture dark wizards, including those focused on stunning, binding, or incapacitating individuals without causing undue harm, would be essential to her role.
Memory Manipulation and Interrogation Spells: These spells could be used for retrieving information from witnesses or suspects, although the ethics surrounding Obliviate and Veritaserum are debatable.
Wizengamot and Legal Spells: Amelia Bones would be well-versed in spells used within the Wizarding legal system, such as those related to truth-telling, oath-taking, and identifying individuals acting under the influence of the Imperius Curse.
Security and Protection Spells: Spells to safeguard sensitive areas and individuals, including those designed to deter intruders, alert to danger, and deflect hexes, would be vital for protecting magical citizens and resources.
While the books don't explicitly list every spell she knew, it can be inferred that she was proficient in a wide array of spells due to her role and performance against Voldemort.
These include: Defensive and Offensive Spells: Her ability to duel against Voldemort and put up a significant fight suggests proficiency in advanced combat spells, likely including protective enchantments like the Shield Charm and various offensive jinxes and curses.

Defense Against the Dark Arts: Fandom mentions a "Defense Against the Dark Arts Aptitude".The Patronus Charm: Amelia was impressed by Harry's ability to produce a corporeal Patronus, implying her understanding of the charm. Some sources indicate her Patronus was a badger or an eagle.
Based on her character and role within the Ministry, she likely possessed a deep understanding of spells related to Law Enforcement: This would encompass a wide range of spells for tracking, capturing, and restraining dark wizards, as well as spells for investigating magical crimes.
Wizengamot Procedures: As a member of the Wizengamot, she would be familiar with the spells and protocols associated with trials and hearings, including those related to Veritaserum, oath-taking, and detection of truth or falsehood. In conclusion, while the specific spells aren't fully detailed, Amelia Bones was undoubtedly a powerful and knowledgeable witch capable of wielding a vast repertoire of spells, particularly those relevant to her role in magical law enforcement and her ability to defend herself against powerful dark magic. These things will come in handy."
Mason thinks to himself and casts some protection spells on him and Rick before they leave.
