"You don't understand. Only a Minato Namikaze who's actually used the Flying Thunder God Technique will be convincing!" Obito retorted irritably.
Minato Namikaze enjoyed an impeccable reputation throughout the ninja world; even his opponents held him in high regard. If he were to suddenly commit any unsavory actions, there would be a high probability that people would suspect someone was impersonating him.
However, if Minato Namikaze were to utilize the Flying Thunder God Technique, it would serve as irrefutable evidence, eliminating any possibility of doubt. After all, aside from Minato Namikaze, no one else in the entire ninja world possessed the ability to utilize the Flying Thunder God Technique.
"The Flying Thunder God Technique, huh? Konoha seems to have another mysterious individual who also knows the Flying Thunder God Technique… but it doesn't matter. It's a secret known only to us," Black and White Zetsu nodded in agreement.
A year prior, five of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist were killed in Konoha. The two survivors fled to Kirigakure and provided a detailed report to the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura Karatachi.
Yagura Karatachi was already under Madara Uchiha's control at that time. Reporting anything to Yagura was equivalent to reporting it to Madara Uchiha.
Therefore, Black and White Zetsu and Obito were aware of this incident.
Black Zetsu even conducted a thorough investigation into the matter, but they were unable to uncover any leads whatsoever, because even Konoha itself was unaware of this individual's existence.
"Leave the rest to me; you shouldn't show yourself," Obito instructed Black and White Zetsu before leading the group, now under his control, towards their destination.
Under Obito's guidance, the group soon arrived at an unnamed mountain on the Amegakure border.
A group of people were already waiting on the mountainside.
Kouki scanned the group and recognized the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura Karatachi, leading a contingent of Kirigakure shinobi. Also present were Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato from Akatsuki.
"Kirigakure? Akatsuki? This is the peace negotiation Minato Namikaze mentioned?" Kouki muttered to himself, feeling a wave of disbelief.
He already knew that after Madara Uchiha's death, Yagura Karatachi had fallen under Obito's control.
Now that Minato Namikaze was also under Obito's control, both sides of the peace negotiation were Obito's pawns.
What was Obito's ultimate goal?
After a moment's reflection, Kouki's gaze fell upon Nagato. Could Obito's objective be Nagato? That seemed to be the only logical explanation.
Reviewing the original Naruto storyline, Nagato's descent into darkness, while orchestrated by Hanzo and Danzo, was also subtly influenced by Obito.

With the Konoha and Kirigakure shinobi assembled, Yahiko was about to begin mediation when Minato Namikaze coldly interrupted him. "Enough pleasantries. Your purpose is fulfilled!"
With Minato Namikaze's words, his subordinates drew their weapons, preparing for battle.

Simultaneously, numerous Konoha ninjas appeared behind Minato Namikaze, utilizing Body Flicker Technique to descend from the sky. There were dozens of them.
"What the hell is Obito doing? Where did all these Konoha ninjas come from?" Kouki muttered, utterly baffled. Had Obito secretly controlled this many Konoha ninjas?
