Volume 4: Family Arc, Chapter 3 Part 7
Would the delivery go smoothly? Would there be danger? He always imagined the worst, trying to be prepared… standing up in panic, then sitting again, repeating this for who knows how long.
Finally, the red light turned off, and a doctor emerged.
"Doctor! How's my wife?!"
The doctor, well used to frantic husbands, calmly replied, "Congratulations, the birth was smooth twins, a boy and a girl; both are healthy…"
Relief swamped Chen Yi, who stammered, "Thank you! Thank you! Uh can I see them?"
"This is the operating room family can go directly to the ward; the mother's already been transferred," explained the doctor.
Realizing no one was left in the OR, Chen Yi bolted for the ward. Despite now being a stouter, older man, he ran with the wind, startling staff and passersby. Those few steps felt as though crossing a great canyon.
Bang.
He burst into the room and saw that face he knew so well. Though Lin Qingrou looked tired and weak, seeing her safe at last, able to exchange smiles, finally set Chen Yi at ease.
"Are you okay? Anything hurting?"
He nervously hovered by the bedside, unsure if it was safe to embrace her.
"Mmm~ I'm fine, honey~ The babies are over there~"
Only then did his mind catch up with the delivery complete, he could finally see his children. Each step felt strangely weighty, but when he saw their tiny faces, unfamiliar and yet full of immediate, unnameable closeness, his heart flooded.
Trembling, he gingerly took the twins in his arms the experience both overwhelming and blank. He wasn't sure how to be a father, didn't know what to do, just that… these kids were his.
He sat beside Lin Qingrou by the bed, joy making him quiver. She watched, then rolled over, whispering in his ear,
"Satisfied now? After so much cuckolding, all it took was one shot and I was pregnant~"
Just as she said that, Chen Yi realized how miraculous it truly was. Since they met, he'd loved her devotedly, never allowed to sleep with her; he'd given up every boundary, even to the point of willing to be childless. Yet that one brief moment on their wedding night barely twenty seconds had truly touched heaven's heart, allowing their blood to be joined.
Of course, now, Chen Yi knew: having been ruined like this, there'd be no more chances to unite with her again. The rest of their lives, he'd only watch his beloved fuck others; now, even he could make her pregnant… so could others.
No matter how much pain this idea brought, deep down he knew: it was only a matter of time before he became, in full, a cuckold caretaker.
But for now, holding his trembling joy, feeling his wife snuggled close, he was just… happy. Relatives looked on, oblivious to the meaning of their whispered words, thinking it only the sweet nothings of ordinary couples.
With two new children, Chen Yi soon turned busy again, but Lin Qingrou, already experienced at childbirth, recovered faster than expected. Both home and business flourished, bringing him deep happiness.

A year passed in a flash, and as the company stabilized, Chen Yi finally had more time at home. The addition of two babies was tremendously disruptive, especially as he struggled to grasp what fatherhood meant feeding, educating, raising them, the future still vague, handled only as each day came.
But since recovering, Lin Qingrou's taste for teasing her loving husband spilled over to their children. She'd whisper plans to raise their son as a cuckold slave from childhood, that this time, she'd truly ensure he couldn't have children… As for their daughter, Lin Qingrou hoped she, too, would enjoy "womanly happiness" when grown. Chen Yi, honestly, was reluctant to hear such things regarding his own children, but the truth was, he too had become as much a deviant as his wife; even against his will, a certain excitement stirred inside him at the thought.
Even Chen Yi worried for his kids' "future prospects" loving them, yet knowing neither he nor Lin Qingrou could be considered good people; indeed, by any normal measure, they were scoundrels. Some secret part of him even hoped these closest kin would one day join their parents on a path of wild, absurd depravity. As for whether it was fair to the kids… well, he could only sigh they'd have to blame fate.

One evening, when Chen Yi got home, the table was set with a hearty dinner. Lin Qingrou sat at the table, feeding the well-secured babies.
Chen Yi, smiling happily, walked up not with a sweet kiss like in a romance drama, but skillfully knelt at Lin Qingrou's feet, cradling and kissing her high-heeled toes. For this strange couple, such greetings were normal. Lin Qingrou even gripped his tongue between her toes, rolling it affectionately.
"Honey~ Eat first, then I have some good news for you~"
He rose, curious, but used to her surprises, so he waited.
Baby care had trained them to eat at superhuman speed. Soon, dinner was over; they took the twins to bed in the nursery, rocking them to sleep. At first, Chen Yi had been at a loss, but now, without realizing, he'd become quite a competent father.
When the babies finally slept, they slipped out, closing the door tight. Relieved, Lin Qingrou suddenly pulled Chen Yi into the living room. After finally relaxing, she turned, managing an odd mix of bright, serious, and tender:
"Honey~ I have something very important to tell you~"
"?"
"I'm pregnant~"
"Huh?"
"Shh!"
At this, Chen Yi, previously sprawled out, jumped upright in shock. Lin Qingrou quickly hushed him, and after a nervous glance at the nursery (where the twins stayed peacefully quiet), Chen Yi finally relaxed, then turned another look at Lin Qingrou. His mind a whirl, he recalled their recent life. Kinks aside, he knew unmistakably… he hadn't slept with Lin Qingrou for a year now, and never would again.
So if Lin Qingrou was pregnant… it could only be from another man.
