Mahi reached his home quickly in his car. The house was a massive mansion, resembling a royal palace. The car pulled up directly into the mansion's parking area. Mahi stepped out, stylishly folding back his shirt sleeves, and walked into the mansion with bloodshot, angry eyes.
In the hall, Vinitha—a beautiful 23-year-old girl—was sitting elegantly on the sofa, wearing a sleeveless red mini frock. Mahi glared at her with the ferocity of a cheetah. He sat in a single-seater sofa nearby and asked with piercing eyes, "What, Vini? Why are you here?"
Seeing him, Vini approached him with a smile and asked, "Hi Mahi, how are you?"
"Stop right there! Don't you dare come near me," Mahi barked in a deep, commanding base voice, thrusting his hand out to block her. Vini trembled from head to toe, shocked by the intensity of his voice.
"Tell me," Mahi demanded seriously. As Vini stammered in fear, Arya entered the room. He sat on the sofa next to Mahi, crossed his legs stylishly, and began looking at his phone. When Vini shot a haughty look at Arya, Mahi intervened. "Hello, Miss Vinitha, look at me. It's better if you quickly tell me why you're here; otherwise, get out!" Mahi pointed his finger toward the entrance.
"I'll tell you, Mahi... I... I love you," Vini stammered, her voice shaking with fear.
In a flash, Mahi lunged toward her and slapped her across the face. The force of the blow sent Vini sprawling to the floor. She stood up defiantly and asked with arrogance, "Is it a crime to love you?"
Mahi turned to Arya with a mocking laugh. "Hey Arya, look at her acting! Look at how well she performs."
"You're right, man," Arya replied, standing beside Mahi with a smirk. "I don't think even a professional actor could compete with her performance."
"You stupid! How dare you say that to me?" Vini shouted, raising her hand to hit Arya. But Mahi grabbed her hand mid-air, preventing her from touching him.
"How dare you touch my friend?" Mahi growled. "What did you say? You love me? And you're asking if loving me is a crime? Yes, it is a crime! I would love someone who is willing to give their life for love. But you? You have the mindset of a person who would kill an innocent soul just to take their place. How did you think I could ever love someone like you? Answer me!"
Hearing those words, Vini's face turned pale. In total shock, she stammered, "What... what are you saying, Mahi? I... I killed someone?"
