Synopsis
In the year 124 of Zhepher’s calendar, the sky split in two. A white scar stretched across the heavens, and the world of Athea began to change—quietly at first, as if pretending nothing had happened. In the second capital of Xherns, Bhavalia, life continues in celebration, laughter, and ignorance. But not everyone chooses to look away. Reema Fhernox is one of the strongest Xherns alive. Gifted beyond measure, she sees the world as something that can be fixed through action, will, and force. To her, hesitation is weakness—and silence is unacceptable. But beneath the calm of everyday life, something is wrong. Xer, the energy that binds reality itself, begins to behave differently. Ancient systems stir. And above it all, the scar in the sky remains unchanged—watching. At her side stands Ahjer, a priestess bound to the sanctuary, calm where Reema is restless, and silent where Reema demands answers. Between them lies an unspoken promise, and questions neither of them fully understand. As unseen forces begin to shift, and the line between stability and collapse grows thinner, Reema will be forced to confront a truth she never considered: Some answers do not lead to salvation. They lead to change. And change always has a cost.

Chapter 1 - Introduction

In this world we explore Athea, a world that has been long forgotten after its fall.

We will experience the story in the point of view of Reema, a young lady that doesn't know her parents and will see the fall of the world with her eyes.

In this world magic exists, but with another name: "Xer", a form of energy that differs from radiation.

- The Xherns: Some human bodies got changed and developed extra pores that interacts with Xer particles. Plus, some organs have adapted to be able to process the energy and make the magic work. They are a new race, usually referred as "mages", "witches" or "wizards" based on our common knowledge of fantasy worlds, but to them is like a slur. A comparison is calling a "dwarf" a "blacksmith", so the classic job of a race is attributed to all individuals, while some are not using "magic" because they can't do it well, or unable at all, and do other jobs.

- Champions: In this story they are called champions, or comanders, and they are the "Crystalbearers".

- Crystal: There are a total of 12 of these, they give the bearer a lot of Xer energy processing efficiency and physical enchantment.

- Animals/Beasts: some developed and adapted to the Xer energy, creating some variation that did extinct the original variant.

This work has some inspiration on Honkai Impact 3rd (Crystals, Herrschers) and TBATE(Magic). There could be other references, but I basically took the idea from past memories, so I do not remember from where or who made the original stories or world buildings, they probably are from some random unknown Anime or something.
