As the match began, Luana seemed to enter her zone in an instant. Her smile vanished, and her entire demeanor changed as she shouted sharply, "Alakazam, Marowak! Let's show them what we're made of!"
Hearing the command, Alakazam and Marowak charged menacingly toward Charizard and Scyther.
One held a spoon, the other a bone club. Both were armed and dangerous, entering the battle with an extra weapon compared to other Pokémon.
Facing these two, Natsui showed no weakness. With a wave of his hand, his Scyther and Charizard also moved forward to meet them.
The two sides grew closer and closer.
At a certain distance, Alakazam was the first to stop. It raised its spoon and used Confusion on Charizard.
Unfortunately for it, its actions did not escape Natsui's eyes.
From the start of the battle, Natsui had been closely watching their movements. Now, seeing Alakazam aim at Charizard and begin to raise its arm, he quickly issued a command.
"Charizard! Watch out for Alakazam's attack, dodge it quickly!"
Charizard flapped its wings, flew into the air, and maneuvered left and right, evading Alakazam's line of sight.
At the same time, Scyther clashed with Marowak. Marowak swung its bone club, using Bone Club, while Scyther countered with its two scythe-like arms.

But the result was not to Natsui's satisfaction.

"You two, switch targets now! Scyther, you take on Alakazam! Charizard, you block Marowak!"
Unexpectedly, however, Scyther seemed to ignore his command. After climbing up from the ground, it once again charged toward Marowak.

Natsui sighed helplessly.
Due to its personality, as a former pack leader, Scyther had a proud heart. Combined with the short time since its capture, it wasn't yet fully obedient to his commands, nor had it integrated well with his other Pokémon.
During the past few days of training, through talks, feeding, and careful attention, it had mostly started to follow his orders. Natsui had thought its situation had changed, but he never expected the problem to resurface in today's battle.
It seems it's gotten carried away…
Since things had come to this, Natsui had no choice but to shift his priority target from Alakazam to Marowak.
"Scyther, just keep dealing with Marowak! Charizard, stop engaging Alakazam and go help out!"
On the other side, Luana naturally heard Natsui's arrangements.
Her gaze lingered on Scyther for a moment before she smiled at Natsui. "What's wrong? Can't you command your own Pokémon smoothly?"
"Can't be helped," Natsui said with a wry smile. "This Pokémon was captured very recently, and since it was a leader before, it's clearly not used to being someone else's subordinate. It seems it will take some more time for it to follow orders completely."
"Oh?" This surprised Luana. "You're using a Pokémon you just caught to fight in my Trovita Gym? Is it because you have no other Pokémon to switch to, or are you just that confident in its strength?"
Natsui shook his head, offering no explanation.
In truth, for a gym battle like this, it wasn't a big deal even if he lost. The gym wasn't going anywhere. As a challenger, even if he failed this time, he could always rest, regroup, and challenge again.
Just like Ash, throughout the entire story, he didn't lose every gym battle, but at least seven or eight out of ten required a second challenge to pass.
The situation on the battlefield was changing rapidly. While the two trainers were talking, the four Pokémon had already clashed and were fighting again.
For now, it seemed he couldn't rely on Scyther for strategy. The best outcome would be if it could defeat Marowak on its own.
But Natsui couldn't just leave it be, either.
"Charizard, use Smokescreen!"
Charizard exhaled a large cloud of black smoke toward the ground. Instantly, a thick black cloud spread out, enveloping half the field.
On the field, Marowak and Scyther were in the middle of a fierce fight when the smokescreen suddenly billowed towards them. They looked around, and after confirming there was no immediate danger, they turned back to find their opponent, but had already lost sight of each other.
Even knowing they were right in front of them, they just couldn't see their location.
Outside the smokescreen, Alakazam, fearing it might hit Marowak, didn't dare to attack blindly into the smoke, nor did it dare to enter rashly. It could only stand there, waiting for the smoke to slowly dissipate.
Natsui, however, seemed unconcerned and continued to issue commands.
"Charizard, aim for the smokescreen and use Dragon Rage!"
Charizard paused in mid-air, then a blast of energy erupted from its mouth, shooting toward the smokescreen.
This blast of energy not only instantly dispersed the smoke but also engulfed both Marowak and Scyther.
Bang! Bang!
Both Pokémon were hit by the Dragon Rage and staggered backward.

On the other side, Luana was stunned, not expecting Natsui to be so ruthless as to attack his own Pokémon.
Natsui ignored Luana's astonishment and said coldly to Scyther, "So, have you calmed down now?"
With it being disobedient at such a critical moment, Natsui naturally had to find a way to snap it back to its senses.
Sure enough, the attack from behind seemed to daze Scyther. It turned its head to look at Natsui, the frenzy in its eyes vanished, and it finally nodded.
"Good." Seeing this, Natsui couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. "Don't just stand there. Switch targets and go deal with Alakazam!"
Scyther no longer hesitated and turned to charge at Alakazam. Seeing its opponent about to flee, Marowak tried to intercept it, but it had barely taken a few steps before the diving Charizard blocked its path.
On the other side, seeing Scyther rushing towards it, Alakazam used Confusion again, trying to stop it from a distance.
But at the critical moment, Scyther used Quick Attack, not only dodging the Confusion but also rapidly closing the distance. In the blink of an eye, it was right in front of Alakazam.
The next second, its two scythes glinted with a cold light. It raised them high, crossed them, and then brought them down heavily on Alakazam.
