Although Magical Leaf is a Grass-type move, many Psychic and Fairy-type Pokémon have mastered it. Whether it's Gardevoir, Cleffa, Flabébé, or the current Togetic, they can all use this move.
Grass is super-effective against Ground and Rock. If Magical Leaf were to hit, it would deal four times the damage to Crystal Onix. This was one of Togetic's more conventional and effective ways to inflict heavy damage on it.
The magical leaves formed around it and then shot towards Crystal Onix.
But what Falkner didn't expect was that Crystal Onix's digging speed was just too fast.

"It's time to end it!" Natsui said in a deep voice. "Use Iron Tail!"
In Togetic's despairing gaze, Crystal Onix's massive tail began to glow brightly. It raised it high, blocking out the sun and casting a large shadow over its face, and then slammed it down heavily.
