Chapter 364 - Chapter 363: Molly

Since Professor Oak could see them on TV, then, if he wasn't mistaken, Molly could definitely also be aware that they had invaded the petal tower through the live news broadcast.

Seriously…

To think that after traveling so cautiously for so long, we were exposed by a TV station in the end. All for nothing.

At that moment, on the other end, Professor Oak seemed to have snatched the phone, and he could be heard complaining, "How could you guys just sneak over there without a word? Why couldn't you wait until night to act?"

Hearing the hint of blame in his tone, Ash looked embarrassed and quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Professor. It was all my idea. It has nothing to do with Natsui and the others. They were all trying to stop me. It was because I insisted that they came on this adventure with me…"

Fortunately, Professor Oak didn't take it to heart. In fact, even if Ash had turned the world upside down, Professor Oak wouldn't have blamed him for anything. He was just angry that they hadn't notified him before taking action.

They're basically treating him like an outsider.

And leaving this matter for Natsui and the others to handle was his original plan anyway. Why did these people have to be in such a hurry?

But complaining about Ash now was useless. He just sighed and said helplessly, "Alright, since you're already there, I'm not going to call you back. The rest is up to you. You must save Delia."

As soon as his voice fell, John suddenly interjected from the side, "After you got there, did you find any Unown?"

"Unown? No."

"I see…" Hearing their answer, Professor Oak pondered for a moment. "According to Professor Hale's papers and notes before he disappeared, the Unown seem to have the ability to perceive the consciousness of other living beings. That is to say, they can sense people's thoughts and then manifest those thoughts. So we deduce that all this crystallization happening in Greenfield must have been created by the Unown after sensing Molly's thoughts."

"Is there any way to solve it?"

"The only thing I can think of now is to find those Unown and, through reverse thinking, reverse this crystallization."

Hearing this, Misty couldn't help but interject, "Professor, do the Unown really have that much power?"

"If it were just a single Unown, it naturally wouldn't be able to do it," Professor Oak explained. "So we deduce that there may be more than one Unown there. You all must be very careful."

Finally, Professor Oak added another sentence, "Of course, if things get tricky, your own safety comes first. The rescue team will be there tonight. Don't be reckless."

After hanging up the phone, Ash was relieved that Professor Oak hadn't criticized him, but he also felt a bit slighted that he seemed to be underestimating them.

"Professor Oak, honestly. He underestimates us too much. We don't need any rescue team."

Shaking his head, Natsui smiled. "He means well. After all, he's the Pokémon Professor who was invited to solve this problem. He has to consider all aspects and can't just disregard our safety."

After this incident, the group continued forward.

They passed through the pool, entered the flower room, and then, through a long connecting corridor, finally arrived inside the manor.

So far, they still hadn't encountered any danger, which also eased their tense mood a little.

Seeing that the place was a maze of intersecting paths, having been eroded by the crystal, the group didn't hesitate and climbed directly towards the top of the tower.

Even though they had never been here before, they knew that Molly and Delia must be there.

Through the jagged crystal stones, when they reached the upper level, they found that the scenery had changed. The crystal had all disappeared, and in its place, before them, was a vast, lush green grassland.

Blue sky, white clouds—everything seemed so peaceful and quiet.

"How is this possible!"

Ash and his friends were dumbfounded, looking at all this, unable to believe their eyes.

This was the inside of the crystal tower. The entire tower was tightly wrapped and airtight. How could there be such bright weather and grassland?

It completely defied common sense.

Natsui looked around and, seeing that Ash and the others were still in shock, couldn't help but say, "Don't be fooled by the illusion before you. Just as Professor Oak said just now, all of this should be Molly's fantasy, her inner world. If you don't believe me, feel it carefully. Can't you feel a single breeze? Or any warmth from the sun?"

Hearing him say this, the group paid close attention and finally felt something unusual.

Indeed, just as Natsui had said, although everything here looked beautiful and pleasing to the eye, it did indeed exude an air of illusion.

It was just like a painting.

Just then, Misty suddenly pointed to the high sky in the distance and exclaimed, "Look, there's a staircase over there!"

"That should be the path to the upper floor. Let's hurry."

The group quickened their pace and ran towards the staircase. However, they were only halfway there when they saw Entei suddenly leap down from the stairs.

And on its back was a girl in her twenties.

The girl was very beautiful, with long, golden, curly hair, a super-short skirt, long stockings, and a pair of large earrings, dressed very stylishly.

Natsui and the others quickly stopped in their tracks.

At first glance, the girl looked somewhat familiar. After a closer look, they found that she bore some resemblance to the Molly in the photo Delia had shown them earlier.

This is too strange.

According to John, besides Molly, there was no one else in the entire crystal tower. But Molly was still young, definitely not this old.

Who is she?

Before they could speak, the girl, riding on Entei, looked down on them. "Are you Pokémon trainers?"

For some reason, Misty felt an innate hostility towards this girl. She said loudly, "So what if we are? Who are you?"

Unexpectedly, the girl ignored her completely and looked directly at Natsui and Ash, her arms crossed, and smiled. "You two, battle me."

"Battle?" Ash shook his head, refusing directly. "Although I don't know who you are, we don't have extra time to waste here."

As he spoke, Ash turned his gaze to Entei.

"Entei! Where did you take my mom!?"

But hearing these words, the girl seemed to have a nerve touched and shouted loudly, "That's not right! Your mom isn't here! Only my mom and dad are here!"

And as she said this, she also directly exposed her identity.

She really was Molly.
