Chapter 368 - Chapter 367: The Second Entei

Continuing to fly downwards, Natsui and Gengar soon found the room that James had mentioned, at the very bottom of the crystal tower.

As Gengar landed, Natsui jumped off its back and looked at the room. He saw that the door had been broken open with brute force, clearly the work of the Team Rocket trio when they escaped.

But before he could get close, Gengar had already sensed something.

"Be careful," it warned. "I can feel that the room is very strange. It feels like there's an extremely dangerous energy surging inside."

Gengar's solemn expression naturally caught Natsui's attention.

But even without Gengar's warning, he knew that as the source of the crystal energy, this place was undoubtedly the most dangerous.

Nodding, Natsui quietly approached the doorway and peeked inside.

From its layout, this should have originally been a spacious reception hall. But just like the other places here, the entire room was also eroded and encased in crystal, looking translucent, as if he were in a crystal world. In the corners, even a few purple crystal flowers had formed.

In the middle of the room, dozens of Unown were gathered together, forming a circle and continuously rotating and flying in a regular pattern, as if they were performing some mysterious ritual.

And in the center of the circle was a large mass of red energy, crackling and continuously emitting a strange light.

But at this moment, the state of the energy mass was very unstable, constantly changing shape, as if it could explode at any moment.

With just one look, Natsui knew that this must have been caused by Molly's emotional outburst just now. If it wasn't brought under control, when the energy reached its critical point, or if there were any other stimuli, it would definitely blow everything here to smithereens.

This is not good…

To be on the safe side, Natsui released Gardevoir and Charizard. With these three Pokémon by his side, along with Gengar, he felt a bit more at ease and then cautiously walked into the reception hall with them.

At his intrusion, the Unown showed no reaction, still rotating continuously.

Or rather, because they had no faces, even if they were saying something, or were angry, Natsui had no way of knowing.

Standing in a relatively safe position, Natsui first carefully examined the Unown.

The Unown looked like the twenty-six letters of the Latin alphabet, from A to Z, with some question marks and exclamation points mixed in. And each one of them had a single large eye.

"What now?" As if afraid to disturb these creatures, Gengar whispered in Natsui's ear. "In this situation, what method do you plan to use to stop them?"

Natsui pondered for a moment.

"Actually, the safest method is to wait for Ash to defeat Entei and for Molly to resolve her inner conflict and return to normal. Then these Unown will naturally disperse. But I don't like leaving my fate in the hands of others. And the situation up there is unclear. If some accident happens, it will be too late to salvage it."

Hearing him say this, Gengar knew that Natsui wanted to solve this matter himself. But given the current situation, it also knew that the situation before them was indeed very tricky.

"This energy is too dangerous. If not handled properly, it will definitely cause an explosion directly. So I suggest we first stop these Unown from accumulating energy, and then find a way to release it."

Natsui had no clue either. Hearing Gengar's suggestion, he also thought it was the only solution before him at the moment.

"Alright, then let's stop these Unown first."

With that, he turned his head to look at Gardevoir. Gardevoir nodded in understanding and directly used Confusion on one of the Unown.

Under the pull of the psychic power, this Unown was dragged out of the circle and slowly approached Natsui.

Natsui could see it constantly resisting, as if trying to break free from the control with its own power. But Gardevoir, to succeed, had used its full strength this time. The power of a single Unown was simply no match, and it was quickly pulled out from among its companions.

But before Natsui could be happy, he saw the other Unown begin to tremble simultaneously. Clearly, this move had provoked them.

To avoid further provoking them, Natsui had no choice but to have Gardevoir release the Unown, watching helplessly as it returned to the air.

It failed…

Sighing, Natsui turned to Gengar again. "Alright, now it's your turn. Try using Hypnosis this time."

Hearing Natsui's command, Gengar didn't hesitate and directly used Hypnosis.

Ripples appeared in its eyes, but when the light waves of Hypnosis passed over the Unown, they had no effect on them at all.

Perhaps it was because these creatures never slept, or because they were in the middle of this ritual, making them immune to Hypnosis. In any case, this attempt had undoubtedly failed again.

What should I do next?

And just as he was at a loss, a figure suddenly flashed before his eyes. Entei had actually broken through the wall and appeared on the other side of the room.

It looked at Natsui and the Unown with a scrutinizing gaze, a clear look of contemplation and confusion on its face.

Hmm?

Why is Entei here again?

Natsui couldn't help but be surprised.

After all, at this time, Entei should be at the top of the tower, battling Ash.

Could it be that Ash failed?

Or did these Unown, after being attacked, conjure up another Entei to stop him?

Whatever it was, this at least gave Natsui a new idea.

Since Entei is an illusion created by the Unown, perhaps by defeating this Entei, I can indirectly weaken that energy.

With this thought, he immediately gave a command to the few Pokémon beside him.

"Attack that illusion!"

As soon as his voice fell, Charizard and Gardevoir bypassed the Unown and directly attacked Entei.

The two attacks flew towards Entei from the left and right.

But what surprised Natsui was that, faced with the menacing two Pokémon, Entei didn't fight back but turned and left through the wall it had broken.

It ran away?

Natsui raised his eyebrows in surprise, then glanced at the energy mass again and finally realized that perhaps Entei didn't want to fight here, afraid of causing an explosion.

After all, if an explosion occurred, even the Unown that created it would be affected.

But this is perfect.

Natsui was also afraid that the battle would stimulate that energy. Since Entei had left, he might as well take his three Pokémon and chase after it through the broken hole.
