Chapter 162 - Chapter 156 : let me tell you—this is Doudou's first boyfriend.

Doudou giggled behind her hand, while Yuan Longxuan wondered—Was being a Title Douluo not impressive anymore?

"Heehee, stop teasing me. Title Douluo are all old grandpas. How could someone your age be one?"

Yuan Longxuan: …This little girl has attitude.

"Alright then—what rank do you think I am?"

He was curious.

"Hmmm… you should be a Spirit Emperor. Even if I'm wrong, you're at least a Spirit King."

Her eyes sparkled with cleverness. Yuan Longxuan could only sigh....he had already reduced his level, and she still wouldn't believe him.

"Fine then. I'm a Spirit Emperor."

If he said he was half-god level, she would probably laugh harder.

"Heehee~ see? I was right."

She smiled proudly, confident in her judgement.

Meanwhile, several black-clad figures watched them from the dark.

"Elder sister… is this really okay?"

"Of course! We're protecting Brother Longxuan!"

"But—"

"No buts! We—"

Before she could finish, the food Doudou ordered began arriving.

Since she invited him, she insisted on paying to thank him for saving her during the match.

"The pan-seared tuna is amazing! And this spicy chicken—totally delicious!"

With tuna in one hand and a chicken leg in the other, Doudou had completely forgotten her serious announcer persona.

Yuan Longxuan didn't hold back either. Since they were out, they might as well enjoy themselves.

Doudou had ordered over ten different signature dishes.

As they chatted and ate, the restaurant owner, Aunt Qin, walked over with a knowing "auntie smile."

"Doudou~ Only a few days apart and now you bring your boyfriend to eat here?"

Doudou nearly choked, her entire face turning red.

"A-Aunt Qin! No! I'm just treating him to thank him!"

But Aunt Qin, who raised her like family, saw right through her.

Treat him? And order half the menu? Sure.

"Young man," Aunt Qin said kindly, "Doudou is a good girl. Don't waste her sincerity."

She emphasized sincerity, making Doudou even redder.

"Aunt Qin~!!"

But the woman ignored her and started recounting Doudou's childhood—every embarrassing detail included.

"Oh? When she was young she liked to—"

"Yes yes, and also—"

"So that's what happened… and then she—"

Doudou could only sit there as Aunt Qin revealed every story....even the embarrassing ones from when her parents were alive and she stayed overnight here.

And Yuan Longxuan listened with great interest...eating, talking, and occasionally glancing at her with those golden eyes filled with amusement.

By now, Doudou felt like all her childhood had been laid bare.

"Young man," Aunt Qin continued, "since you're a teacher, let me tell you—this is Doudou's first boyfriend.

Treat her well. She only works at the arena because life forced her to."

Yuan Longxuan smiled and nodded.

He didn't need the reminder. With one scan from his system, he knew she was a clean, straightforward girl.

That alone was enough for him to consider her.

"Don't worry, Aunt Qin. I'll arrange a job for Doudou later—let her become a host in Spirit City."

But just as he finished speaking, a loud, arrogant voice sounded from the entrance.

"Hey! Where are the staff?! Fat Lord is hungry! Bring out all your best dishes—now!"

A thunderous boom split the sky as Shrek's group made their dramatic entrance.

Their reputation for stirring up trouble preceded them.....two so-called "living Buddhas," yet they left chaos wherever they went.

A bloated man with grotesquely rotting skin and fiery-red clothing barged into the restaurant, striding in with the confidence of someone who had no regard for others.

He looked pleased with himself, but the diners beside him were showered in dust and debris.

"Hey! Brat! This is a restaurant, not your house! Ever heard of respecting other people?!"

The customer he splattered wasn't someone with a good temper either.

Anyone who could afford to eat here was likely a competitor in the Great Spirit Arena.....fighters who relied on nightly rest to survive daily battles.

Having that precious rest ruined by this hideous, arrogant fatty was the last straw.

"Heh, just you? You think you deserve my respect?"

Ma Hongjun's distorted face radiated arrogance. Flander saw the situation unfold but didn't intervene.

After all, Shrek's motto was practically "if you don't dare cause trouble, you're mediocre.

And from his spiritual perception, the offended diner was nothing more than a measly Spirit Grandmaster.

"Wait, isn't that girl the host who did commentary for our match today? Doudou? She's here too!"
