Chapter 114 - Chapter 115 : Newcomer!!

In the six months under the new government, the Navy and the nations of the world gradually changed their perception of the new regime.

Thanks to Ren, no island lacked food, public waterways were open, and diplomacy between islands flourished.

Everything seemed to move toward prosperity. Chaos turned into order, which the Navy had never expected. They began to question what they had been fighting for all this time.

Gradually, they started accepting the new way of life and new jobs. Besides maintaining security at sea, they were now responsible for transporting people.

Every day, warships traveled between islands, strengthening trade.

Each island had its own special products, creating countless opportunities. Many people rushed into cross-sea trade.

Meanwhile, Ren was overwhelmed with the new Holy Land. After taking it on, he realized how enormous the mess left behind by the World Government was, seriously hindering his farming dreams. He had no choice but to work overtime.

Fortunately, it was all worth it. Everything was heading in the direction Ren wanted.

Of course, there was Imu lurking in the shadows, giving him a headache, but there was no time to track him down yet.

At night, above the black mist.

A newcomer appeared this time, wearing a suit and tie, looking exhausted and slightly lost in this strange space.

"Yo, a newcomer." Pirate Ren spoke first.

"Am I… resurrected?" Game Ren couldn't believe it. He had been killed instantly before, without pain, and now he was alive again?

"Thank Re:Zero Ren. He sacrificed a hundred years to save you." Akame Ren said softly.

"By the way, haven't you aged a bit?" Pirate Ren glanced at Akame Ren.

"Can't be helped. My world isn't as special as yours." Akame Ren said calmly. Even if he gained immortality, it didn't matter; he couldn't make his wives immortal too.

"Thank you so much." Game Ren quickly grabbed Re:Zero Ren's hand. After sensing everything Game Ren had done, Re:Zero Ren fell into thought.

Some people saved the world, others played with it—they were all Ren, yet the differences were so vast.

Naruto Ren immediately went to Detective Ren. He now relied heavily on Detective Ren's technology.

Pirate Ren understood this well; without Vegapunk, things wouldn't have gone so smoothly.

"Um, where is this place?" Overlord Ren asked.

"Brothers, share first, help the newcomer understand." Pirate Ren reached out first.

The fists of everyone collided together. It took a while for them to process all the memories and regain their senses, especially Overlord Ren. He was in Japan, while his other selves lived freely in another world, which made him feel very uncomfortable.

Everyone looked at Game Ren. They observed him from a cinematic perspective, seeing all that he had experienced.

As the saying goes, a thousand readers mean a thousand Hamlets. Some Rens couldn't quite understand why Game Ren acted the way he did.

Game Ren said nothing. He wanted to tell them that while playing games with Jibril, he had been deeply moved by the characters in the game and was willing to give everything for them—but they probably wouldn't believe it.

"Pirate Ren, you've unified the world?"

"Yes." Pirate Ren nodded.

"As expected, we prefer a simpler, farming kind of life." Naruto Ren nodded in agreement.

"You're lucky. At least it's easy to gain trust within your own race. My situation is far too complicated." Pirate Ren sighed.

The newly arrived Ren was ignored by everyone. They assumed he was probably stuck in some ordinary world. With their shared memories, he should be able to manage eventually.

"I never thought I could come here before crossing over… it's a bit too late." Overlord Ren sighed. He felt it was too late. If he had come earlier, he wouldn't have had to work so excessively—this was even worse than in his previous life.

"Cross over!?" The other Rens immediately became curious. They knew everything about Overlord Ren—almost all of his earnings went into the YGGDRASIL game.

Since the crossover happened so long ago, memories unrelated to their own worlds had begun to fade.

"Overlord, the Ainz Ooal Gown, Momonga who battled with the toxic air… Did you guys binge-watch the anime in your past life?" Overlord Ren complained.

"Hey, hey, don't you see how many years we've spent living in our own worlds? All our memories were used to remember our own worlds." Naruto Ren retorted, exasperated by the Ninja world.

"Uh…" Overlord Ren had nothing to say. He was the same—after discovering the game, he had crammed all the world's settings. But being an anime-only fan, he might not know all the details.

"This time, with the shared memories and abilities, it feels like I've broken my limit." Pirate Ren whispered.

"Huh? A regular office worker helped you break your limit?" Akame Ren asked, curious.

"You're the last one qualified to say that." Naruto Ren retorted.

"It's not just our strength that has improved through sharing. Our talents have enhanced too. Now creating sword techniques feels as simple as drinking water." Pirate Ren revealed the key point.

Actually, all the Rens present wished they could experience the high-power world Rens, so someone could carry them.

But in reality, they had to strengthen their own talents and become stronger by themselves.

"Will a carry suddenly appear once we get strong enough?" Naruto Ren complained one after another.

"That's hard to say," the Pirate Ren sighed. The boost from a high-level Ren was far greater than what they could achieve on their own.

This sharing session ended quickly.

The Game Ren didn't join the conversation at all.

He only wanted to know immediately which era he had revived into.

Japan, Tokyo.

Ren was woken up by his alarm.

By reflex, he got up, dressed, and washed himself, all within three minutes.

Then he left for work.

This world wasn't very friendly to wage workers.

Money was mostly taken by capitalists.

Ordinary people found it difficult to rise.

Even though Ren had graduated from Tokyo University, he still couldn't change his situation.

It wasn't that change was impossible.

At least he got a higher salary.

But getting any further was basically impossible.

To prevent workers like him from becoming depressed or suicidal, VR games were developed to help them relax.

YGGDRASIL was one of them.

It had once been extremely popular across Japan.

But because the gap between paying players and free players was too large, ordinary players gradually quit.

Now the game was even facing shutdown.

The life of a wage worker was basically working in the office during the day and playing games at night.

They were almost entirely controlled by capitalists.

At the company, even though he had shared power with his other selves, he didn't think much of it.

He went to work on time and wrote code.

He had already been completely turned into a qualified wage worker.

At nine o'clock in the evening, he got off work on time.

He hadn't rested for a month.

This was Ren's life.

Fortunately, the salary was good enough to keep him going.

"Tonight is the shutdown day for YGGDRASIL, right?"

Ren hurried back to his apartment.

After knowing what this world was like, he never bought a car or house in real life.

Except for necessities, all his money went into the game.

Back at his place, he didn't hesitate.

He lay down in the gaming pod, entered the game, and waited for the final moment to arrive.
