Lara gasped in shock and pain.
"Lara!" Thornak roared, catching her before she fell. "Get the healers, now!"
For a heartbeat, everyone froze.
Then Wanda run off, and Rhylen lunged forward, grabbing Selene slamming her hard to the ground, pinning her to the ground.
"Have you lost your mind?" he shouted, anger breaking through his shock.
Selene struggled trying to wrench herself free.
"Let me go!" she screamed, clawing at him.
Kaelith hissed and in one Swift motion he held his claws at Selene's throat.
She stopped struggling at once.
The guards were already rushing in from every direction.
Lara shook in Thornak's arms as blood soaked his hands.
"Why isn't she healing?" Kaelith demanded with panic in his voice.
"She's lost her moonfire," Thornak said, his jaw tight. "Without it… she's lost her wolf."
"Stay with me," he said, his voice low and shaking. "Look at me, Lara. Stay with me."
Lara's hand fisted in Thornak's robe. Her face had gone pale, her breath shallow.
