I was researching on my own in the forest , when I saw a girl passed out on the ground. She had hit her head on a branch as it had scratched her fore head , blood gushing through the wound. I took her into my car as we both head to my house also known as my lab . I put her on the sofa, heading to the kitchen to bring out the first aid . My fellow lab partners bombarded me with questions like: " who is she?, why did you bring her here?". I frowned at what Matt said.
" I couldn't leave her in the forest wounded and besides she'll be a good use for the experiment since she's human. She'll be our
Lab rat ."
"Alright that's fine by me !", Jake shrugged.
" well I'll take her to my room to rest ", i said before leaving to my room and gently dropping her on the bed . She stirred but later falls asleep.
" hey Neo i hope you're not making out with the human ". Luke said before smirking smuggly .
" shut up am just analysing her features , i'll be down now!". I pecked her forehead before leaving downstairs. I admit I didn't know why I did that maybe I had self pity on what we're gonna do with her . Well we'll just have to wait and see but she's quite beautiful though!...
Angela's pov
I opened my eyes to see i wasin a scientist lab , they had chained me my hands and leg to an iron bed.
Neo looked at me in sympathy.
" will it hurt ", I croaked.
"Just a little!", Neo sighed , they injected me with some sleeping dose to relieve the pain but I could still feel it even in my sleep, the pain was unbearable I wanted to scream but I couldn't. Then it happened I woke up my eyes heavy with something more than sleep.
"It's done !",Mark whispered
"She survived!", Lucas exclaimed. What so i was gonna die if anything went wrong. They removed the chains from me as Neo carried me to the room cause I was paralysed for now due to the intake of too much pain .
" thanks!", I whispered.
" why are you thanking me , I brought you pain ", He whispered tears forming in his eyes .
" no worries I'm fine!", the room was silent for some time . The boys were waiting and anxious to see the outcome of their experiment that they had created inside of me .
"What did you guys inject in me anyways ", I asked. The room fell silent again.
" we Injected you with a special syrom that could enhance intelligence to an abnormal rate".
" so that means I can do super human things!".
" yeah something like that try levitation ".
I took a deep breath before focusing all my energy (mana) ( cliche i know right) into my hands before i knew it i had levitated the dinning table .
" wow good first try !" , Mark said suprised .
" so when will I be leaving this place ".
" why do you want to leave ?".
" cause I want to face my fears , I'm tired of running. There's always a point In life were you'll not be able to run from your fears !".
" uhmmm!".
" so I'm gonna do the right thing and face him!", even though the other half of me wanted to live with them forever.
" alright you can leave after we've trained you how to use your powers and know how to control it ", Mark said.
" yeah sure !".
" alright training begins !", Lucas barked .
* Few months later *
[ Angela knows how to use her powers efficiently, both levitation, mind reading and manipulation].
" this few months has been pretty eventful, I'll miss you guys !", we all hug each other .
" in case need us just call us with your powers ".
" yeah !, yeah i know !".
" bye Angela we'll meet again!", Blake said cooly . Yeah I've always know he's cool headed among the boys .
" Angela i have something for you !".
Neo dragged me by the hand as we entered my former room i had been staying at their place . On the table a gift had been wrapped neatly in a brown envelope.
" take have this !".
" thanks Neo !", i opened it an emerald moon necklace fell from the envelope .
" uh oh I like it , thanks soo much!", i hugged him tightly. I wanted yo leave but he stopped me .
" and there's one more thing I've been meaning to tell you a long time ago!"
" what's yhat?!".
" Angela i love ❤️ you very much and I breaks my heart that you're leaving, what if I don't see you again i wouldn't be able to.....
I kissed him on impulse.
" you'll .find your mate Neo and she'll better than me in many ways !".
" I also love you but I have a mate that I am attached to !".
" I understand he said sadly .
" uhmmm I guess this is goodbye?".

I sighed i kissed him again but as the kiss deepened I let go .
" bye Neo , I'll miss you but I know we'll meet again !".
" bye Angela!", he said with mixed feelings.
I left from that day on i became independent, as I embark on my journey forward.......
