It was a dark space with no light and nothing special about it, like a prison. Somewhere deep in the dark, a faint melody of rain began to play. A glowing white silhouette floated there, humanoid in shape, clutching his own arms. He drifted slowly until something reddish appeared in the sky. When he looked up, he saw a giant hand stretched out toward him. The silhouette climbed on warily. His light was bright enough to illuminate the palm, and he saw that the skin was greenish.
The hand slowly drew him into its reddish energy, then vanished with him inside the sphere.
He appeared in a strange place where he could watch the explosion of the Big Bang. Energy detonated violently, and the universe began to expand and form all matter. He realized that the place where he had been before was the place where everything would begin...
Slowly he looked away and walked down a corridor. His body began to take on a human appearance as his bright glow faded and he settled into a new form. His silhouette now had sky-blue hair, white eyes without pupils, and a cape holding thousands of galaxies, a manifestation of his closeness to the energy released by the Big Bang. He wore a completely black shirt without buttons and pants of the same color. In the middle of his torso, a small circle began to form, spinning like a white dwarf embedded in his skin.
Suddenly he felt an immense energy. He looked up and saw someone at the end of the corridor, but his eyes couldn't make out the figure's shape. Something was blocking his vision.
"Hello, individual. It seems you've been around since long before the universe was created, huh?" the voice said.
He was silent for a moment before speaking.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"I'm just someone. I won't go into detail, but call me Unknown, or whatever you like," the voice replied.
In that instant, a flood of knowledge poured into his mind. He blinked, then opened his eyes wide.
"Then... Unknown Voice, what are you doing here?" he asked.
"Nothing in particular, though he might be watching us," the Unknown Voice answered.
"By 'he,' do you mean 'Mind Control'? ... Ah," the figure asked, letting out a small growl for no reason.
"Hahaha, exactly him. It seems your new knowledge gave you the name I use for him," the Unknown Voice replied, amused. "And that growl was his doing, by the way. You mentioned him."
"I definitely don't know him. My knowledge just handed me the name. And thanks for explaining the growl... But I am not a toy for your entertainment," the figure said.
Suddenly a voice sounded in his mind.
*You looked like a frightened little child in the very space where this universe was born. Besides, nothing is more interesting than a chat with a friend, right?* the Unknown Voice told him, speaking directly into his thoughts.
He shook his head sharply, thrust a hand toward the Unknown Voice, and fired a charge of energy like a black hole.
The Unknown Voice snapped his fingers, freezing the attack in midair.
"You want to fight, huh? Fine," he declared.
Without wasting a moment, he sent the attack back. The energy slammed into the figure's torso, but it didn't so much as tickle him.
"Nice attack... Supreme Angel," the Unknown Voice said, giving him a name.
The figure clenched his fists. He didn't like the name.
The Supreme Angel quickly unleashed a colossal blast of energy, a giant black hole two trillion meters tall, and it crashed into the Unknown Voice.
The corridor vanished, and the light went out all at once. The Unknown Voice walked out of the black hole, ignoring the fact that not even light can escape one, and the Supreme Angel followed.
The Unknown Voice threw a punch at the black hole, disintegrating its energy and erasing it from existence.
"You'd be a great help to me. Come with me," the Unknown Voice said.
He opened a portal and stepped through. The Angel hesitated for a moment before following.
The portal snapped shut behind them and carried them to a base in the Outerverse.
"Welcome to my special space. You can observe anything you like," the Unknown Voice said.
The Supreme Angel looked around and noticed windows that revealed every multiverse.
The Unknown Voice headed to his room and left him in the corridor. The Angel wandered slowly until he came to a door labeled "Initial Creation." He went to it and opened it, and what he saw inside made him suspicious.
It was a crocodile inside a capsule filled with a greenish-blue liquid. He realized that the hand that had first pulled him out of the dark place had belonged to this creation.
He sensed a presence behind him.
"What is this supposed to be?" the Angel asked, his voice radiating power.
"An experiment," the Unknown Voice answered.
"A Boss?" the Angel asked again.
"Call it whatever you like. If that's the name you want to use, fine," the Unknown Voice declared. He turned and walked back to his room.
*499+502,* the Supreme Angel thought.
He left the room and walked away, but his steps stopped at the Unknown Voice's door, and he went in without hesitation.
There he was, seated and watching a bank of screens that showed the creation of the solar system.
"From here I control everything without making many movements. It's almost automatic when I press one of the buttons or swipe the screen to evaluate. Welcome to this place I built from scratch," the Unknown Voice explained.
The Angel nodded, eyeing the screens with distrust.
*He sees us as entertainment. How lonely he must be,* he thought.
The Unknown Voice heard his thoughts and snapped his fingers.
The Supreme Angel felt his body lock up, paralyzed.
*Your theory could be true, but not entirely. I also keep watch so that nothing strays from its order, because I don't want "Mind Control" to interfere,* the Unknown Voice explained to him mentally.
The Supreme Angel broke free of whatever held him. He stepped back, understanding the situation.
"Mind Control can't read my thoughts, but he can read yours," the Unknown Voice said.
The Supreme Angel turned, walked out into the corridor, and conjured a portal with his hands.
He stepped through and vanished.
He arrived at a throne and sat down at once, without needing to move. He raised a hand and opened his own system. A screen appeared in front of him, showing a rocky mass of magma: planet Earth. He smiled slightly, anticipating the events that would arrive years later, like the birth of the first Kiro...
He closed the screen and opened another. It showed the same view of Earth in its magma phase, but this time he sensed a power related to that of the Kiro who would be born thousands of years later.
He closed the screen and leaned back in his throne...
Other universes were being created, but something was unusual. The same event from the protagonist Kiro's life kept repeating, the rescue of his friend, but with some details changed.
The Unknown Voice shut off the scene instantly.
