After they finished their tea, the two walked out again.
Adelia's hand naturally found Amon's once more.
This time, she didn't let go.
They wandered through shops. Adelia stopping to admire accessories, Amon watching her with fascinated eyes.
Whenever she turned to ask his opinion, Amon pretended he wasn't already staring.
At one point, Amon picked up a crystal hairpin shaped like a leaf.
"It's beautiful," she murmured, as her eyes fell on the hairpin.
"You'd look even more beautiful with it," Amon said softly. Genuinely.
Adelia, hearing that, wanted to curse for the first time.
"Amon! You—"
But she swallowed the rest of her words as her heart thumped hard.
After a moment,
"Um… if you don't mind could I put this on you?"
Adelia blinked. "Seriously?"
He nodded with excitement.
She didn't understand what to do with her student. He was being too forward. Too much assertive. And for some reason she was enjoying it.
