He reached up with his left hand and pulled his collar all the way aside, giving her full access to his neck. His pale skin caught the silver of the moonlight.
Scarlett looked at him for a long moment. Then her lips parted.
Her teeth shifted, elongating slowly at first and then sharper, longer, until two white fangs curved past her lower lip.
She leaned forward, the curtain of her red hair falling around both of them like a veil, closing the world out.
Her massive breasts pressed against his chest. And then she bit down on his flesh.
"Ah—"
The sound left him before he could hold it back. It was a groan with half pain and half something else. His whole body tensed for just a second.
Then his arms found her back and pulled her in.
He held her. Both arms wrapped around her, firm and steady, like he was afraid she might drift away if he let go. He kept her hugged tightly.
She drank blood from his neck. Slowly. Like she wasn't in a hurry.
