After Arnold left, Amon began teaching Alice.
Over the past few weeks, he had learned several new basic spells, most of which were relatively easy to master. However, rather than teaching Alice something complicated, he decided to start with one of the first spells he had learned himself.
Gloom Orb.
It was a basic Darkness spell that created a small orb of condensed darkness. When the orb struck its target, it would explode, dealing a small amount of damage while releasing a cloud of dark smoke that could obscure the enemy's vision.
Although its destructive power was limited, the spell was useful for beginners. More importantly, it could serve as an excellent foundation for learning how to manipulate Darkness magic.
"Alright, Alice. Watch carefully."
Amon extended his right hand.
A faint ripple passed through the shadows around his palm. A moment later, black mana gathered above it, gradually condensing into a small, perfectly round sphere.
