"We know that they will come to attack us," Tua Tahir said, his jaw tight. "So we need to be ready for when they raise their swords against us."
The Chief turned his gaze on me, serious. "Tua Miasha. What do you think we can do to prepare for this coming storm?"
I looked around at the expectant faces and wondered when I had become the kind of person who would be helping make decisions like this instead of just following orders.
'Who would've thought I'd be here now?' I mused to myself.
I took a breath to steady myself before turning to Tua Tahir.
"As you said, we need to be ready, so let us up the training, increase the level of our warriors," I said.
"We need to increase mana absorption as well. We all know the impact it has on our warriors, so let's maximize that"
