Made during a Great One immersing herself into the greatness of stars and nebulas, the concept of "Arcanists" were finally created among the world.
Different from Ritualists, who borrows Arcane Force through rituals, Arcanists directly manipulate those Arcane flows through their knowledge and appropriateness of body.
In comparison, it's a greater version of Ritualists due to the fact that they need not chanting the cumbrous rituals for the same destruction and attacks.
Yet, if that's all the story, it'd be nothing but a terrible injustice of creation by biasing one side. Accompanying that advantage, not everyone can be Arcanists themselves. To step on that field, that individual must have the mind of an omniscient himself/herself.
And right now, standing right at the opposite side of The Eye of Eclipsed Goddess that reigns over the throne of The Eclipsed Moon, is Loye - The Stellar Grand Sage of Wisdom. She is the sole exception in this era, that is able to lay her hands on that kind of power - The Last Arcanist.
Fentis, the greatest destruction can be made by Loye currently. It is an absolute destructive pillar of pink light, dropping down from the skies as a waterfall. Named after the appellation of a far, far and far away from this Aurorize star. Its destiny is nothing but erasing all the disgraceful existences - a true Savior.
Beneath that ultimate strike, Yozu can't do anything but to accept his death. It doesn't matter that his true self is valid or not in the Aurorize Life System, he's on Aetheria's body right now, which means "they" are counted as an unofficial existence. Then they're cooked, absolutely.
"Hey, don't you just stand aside like that?"
*Vroom* – That pillar of light swiftly drops down on that guy. Is it the end?
*Fshh* – Vanished beneath His gaze. Under that watch, nothing can raise their heads.
No one knows the truth, except them. Back in the days when the Three Great Saints were still alive, they revealed a secret by themselves. There is an anecdote.
"With His left step, distance perished. Before Him, no measure of space endured."
It mentioned a great existence, who had the ability to ignore the concept of space by himself.
"His right stride veiled the world entire; for no realm lay beyond His reach."
The Almighty they praised. Neither known as king, nor emperor, but God. The God that ruled all the world from the bygone era.
No one knew the origin of those myths, yet, the Three Great Saints all came with a belief that they were still missing many parts. That these two myths weren't the entire great picture of The God.
But, how were they able to know?
The Corpse. The Supreme Corpse of The Almighty was the key. Held by them, a pair of legs were buried in the same place - The Great Continent.
So up to now, we have currently known why they chose this place and built up the zone of life for humans after the beginning of the recession era. Do you feel me? Among the cruel world, where a random creature found in Phelatust can reach to the height of 120 meters and weigh over 20 tons, they found two pieces of Supreme Corpse. Wasn't it a blessing? Furthermore, the island that nowadays is called The Great Continent was doubted to be The Final Resting Place of The God. Nothing, nothing from the other side of the Dark Continent was able to invade that sacred place.
But why do I let you know this story? Isn't it simple? I never do something without profit or purpose, even though sometimes I explain the problems not that well. But it doesn't matter, right? Because that guy has already been there.
"Why are you here?" – In her surprise, Loye opens her eyes wide while keeping her gaze straight on that existence.
"Get out!" – Zodyl was released, yet also vanished beneath his eyes.
A smile, he replies, "Why don't we just let this misunderstanding evaporate. None of us was here, literally."
*Whirr* – "I have my own business here. Even if you are a Saint, I can kill you too."
Loye unleashes her Aura and Arcane Flows all around herself. Obviously, she's going to bet her own life on this gamble.
"Oh chill down my lady. We all share the same inheritance, why do we need to be like this?"
"Because you are protecting my enemy!"
*Vroom* – 91% of light speed, Loye rushes herself with the twentyfold shortened tick in her mind. Light Dash combines with Scanning Spells, she is now in the flow state.
"Oh c'mon."
*Vroom* – Not even moving, the space just moves itself and he's already dodged that strike.
"The Corpse. YOU! Don't you dare betray his legacy!?"
Zodyl – One hundred thousand beams!
*Vsh* - Each time the space oscillates, each time he slightly moves and dodges the attacks easily as pie.
"Loye. Why are you still stuck with that ridiculous longing?" – His eyes obviously glance straight on her as a threat.
"We aren't supposed to be here, my love." – Within a step, he instantly stays at her rear.
Those hands slightly touch the shoulders and hips, then an embrace hugs her soft body tightly by him.
"I love you Loye, so don't force me to hurt you. Please."
A silent moment, she replies nothing. Her hands slightly raise higher and higher.
"Get out!"
*Boom* – Yabh, explosion!
Zodyl! A rain of beams swiftly chases him down, no matter where he goes, they all follow and blow away everything in the way. It's totally different from the moment she faced Har. This time, it's way more intense and destructive. As a blazing sky of falling meteors.
*Bang* – Needn't to move, he stands right there and endurance all of them as an indulgence to his love.
"Come here." – His hands slightly reach out to the side of Loye.
"Come with me, then we're all good."
*Vroom* – A cross light covered by a circle instantly lightens up his left shoulder.
*Bang* – Of course, Loye denied it. She launched a piercing beam through his bent space zone and shot it right at his shoulder.
"How cruel." – Wrapping his arm through her thin waist, he closes himself to her back and slightly grasps those cheeks from behind.
His mouth slightly comes closer and closer to her left ear, he lets that chin gently grind on that left shoulder, "Can it even be more broken when my beloved saint denied my soul?"
"Just get out of my way!" – Taking that advantage, she instantly locked the space around them. Within a gesture, Loye opened up a gate from the rear of them. It's a gate made of twelve golden arcs perfectly intertwined into a big circle. It's there, Origo Exilium – The Gate of Divinity that Yuiz used against Har.
"Oh. You are even that heartless against me. Oh my dearest love, why is my heart too broken?"
"So you better go straight to hell." - Carrying a hatred, Loye had nothing to deal with the traitor.
Caring not, he continues extending his love, "Oh love, do never vanish. I love you so much that I can't even lay a finger on hurting your pure soul. Oh Saint, just let it be a sweet dream."
"That's cringe as f*"
Zodyl! Casting on her back, the beams directly blow straight to the Saint. Yet, it seems like all of them did nothing but waste her Arcane Force. He is still there, soft and sound.
"You know that. Beneath my hands, nothing was allowed to challenge me."
He again closes himself to her left ear, "Even a relic from that era."
"Don't you sa…"
All she could do was maintain the silence. By her witness, Loye saw that Saint used his own hands to stop everything.
He raised his right hand to the open gate and slightly approached it. No matter how strong that strike was, his hand was like a spear – piercing through everything. Until it reached the thin surface of the gate, the beam had already vanished into the air.
"Imp… impossible."
"Nothing was impossible, my love."
*Vroom* – Sealed! He takes a step toward Loye and puts on her hands a cube. It's made by folding the space surface into a cute little box. Of course, floating inside that cube is the gate, now negated.
A hug, he embraces her body, so soft.
"Please hear me out, Loye." – His hands slightly touch her face, those thumbs gently rub her cheeks, as if playing with a doll.
"I want to bring this world back to its peak."
Her eyes open wide, she can't believe what she's hearing right now.
Its peak? Is he crazy? Is he aiming to recreate the Heroic Era?
"You know that, we've been locked in this cage for too long." – His smile distorts, the atmosphere instantly changes all around them. It all changes to something even more evil than devils, terribly terrible.
"I want us again to be a part of this world. This cage is no longer enough. I want to admire the buried sides and parts of history, I want to know them all." – Crazy, all gone crazy.
Loye can no longer see in those eyes an innocent peer, all gone, all gone crazy. He is no longer that boy, he has changed.
"You are no longer him. You are not Ichirou!"
"Yes I am. This is…" – He again touches her face, he wants her to look at him directly.
"This is my true self, Loye. This is my longing, my greatest desire. And I will not let anyone bury it, even him, Alacia."
"Don't call His name by your mouth!"
*Vroom* – It shoots straight toward himself, yet, Zodyl is useless afterall. Obviously, Ichirou just deflected it like throwing away a ragdoll.
*Sigh* – "So this is your choice."
He wipes out a tear of sadness dropping on his left eye, "I won't hurt you. But I won't let you prevent us too."
*Whirr* – Madly fluttering, her sleeves and robes almost get blown away beneath that force. Loye opens all her veins, she lets the heart beat intensely to lead the Aura all along her body. Even the skies above them are dyed in the black clouds and thunder, this is the wrath of a Grand Sage.
"Then bring it all on. I will kill you, traitor."
"Let it be decided, then my heart can't be broken anymore." – He lifts his right foot and the skies are forced to break themselves.
"Let my heart die in regret for disobeying you, my love."
"Crazy, is that the true power of a Grand Sage?" – Har opens his eyes wide, it's a blessing that he can admire this performance.
*Clash* – Deflecting a strike, he keeps his eyes that direction, truly captivated.
*Clap* – He seals his hands together, it is too familiar.
*Plop* – A pair of wings covers him inside a wall of dark feathers to ignore all the projectiles shooting from afar – Lamti, The Muscular Eagle.
He looks at the debris on the ground, slightly shakes his head, "Rushing toward a stronger one without a plan, you are overconfident."
Here comes a guy covered inside a shiny platinum robe, a staff on hands and a sparkling hair swaying with winds. His name is Zutan, a Special National Hunter (2 stars).
*Vsh* – Another guy has come, shining with golden color at the very end, his black as obsidian hair slightly enhances his face.
*Vsh* - One, two, three, now four. Four Golden Hunters have laid their feet on this field.
*Clap - Clap* – "Oh ho, what do we have here?"
Har takes a look around, arbitrarily, "Oh, aren't you the three defeated beneath Savan?"
A silver veil reflecting light, Pyan Liferberto.
A deep blue ocean floating in the wind, Alan.
And a starry night sky, Leo.
Hair color mentioned.
"Are you here just to lose again? How pathetic." – Mocking, he said.
*Boom* – Falling from the sky, twin-tail meteor crashed down to the ground. Shining inside his hands, a three-section staff bursts the Aura of blue and red. His hair is also a river of obsidians, it seems like someone just dyed it intentionally. A tight-fitting shirt of black, covered by a golden pattern and chains, a black half-body shoulder draped garment on the left. His clothes are simplified for efficiency while battling, even the chains attached on his pants and shirt are a shield. It's quite lame compared to others'.
Obviously, he is Paragon and that strike was made by his two dragons.
"Why don't we have a close talk right here, Ryun or Har? Whatever." – He offers, but also sets the next actions.
"Let's see." – Sealing his hands, Savan has been called out with a cured body and extra attached two hands in the back. This is a better version of himself after death, which allows him to actually use various weapons for merging combos.
"So, let it begin." – Raising his hand above, Zutan instantly calls out ten spells at once.
*Vsh* – Approaching him, Savan takes out the bone sword and swings it toward that neck.
*Clash* – Parried by a sharp shot from the left, that strike was deflected far enough to miss landing itself. Non-stop, following Zutan's call, those ten magic circles rapidly shoot out thousands of light bullets as a group of miniguns.
Flowing Water Doctrine – First Move: Mirror on Water.
Light Spell level 4 – Laser.
*Fshhh…*
"So, shall we?" – Alan instantly burns up the Aura inside himself like lighting up a candle. Slowly, it bursts into a blazing rage, this is the revenge for that time. Following up, Leo also unleashes his cold mist of glacials to the battlefield, it's getting serious. And then, both Paragon and the last guy, Pyan, warm up themselves by Ignite. This is obviously a declaration of a hunt, a wild hunt with the only prey is Har.
"I've been waiting for this. So are you, right?" – The last word is pressed intentionally, it seems like Leo really wants to finish Har off. He still remembers the wounds that Chimera left on his body, dully hurt and madly itchy.
A giggle, Har looks at them real quick while showing his hand gesture, "Alright alright alright! Let all the madness and craze crash into each other and explode."
Domain Expansion:
Abyssal Gluttony!
Flashback, a day after the moment Aetheria met him. Paragon went straight to the VIP hall for National Hunters on his own. Despite all the prevention, he was still to pass through and meet them in the training room.
"Wanna deal?"
Obviously, the assassination of Har failed, yet, it's still reported to the Hunter Council and got canceled right after that. This was the decision of Loye, she didn't want people to acknowledge Savan and try to kill themselves in dumb ways. But the data of Har was also collected and archived in the system of Hunter Council. All his moves, abilities and potential secret capabilities were also studied.
That's how Leo, Pyan and Alan could know the fact that Ryun was no longer there, but Har, the Exclusive Anomaly. Revenge? Sure, burning madly inside their eyes was a madness of revenge, none of them gave up that chance if it might come.
So why not? Why shouldn't they take that deal when a hand was given toward them?
Zutan was also invited by Alan, this deal cost them a bunch of ACs, yet, it's worth it. Nevertheless, they of course can't rush into the target without any plan. That's why he's here, Paragon.
His plan is really short and easy to understand. He aimed to negate the domain and RampThica. Just in case, Zutan should be able to handle Savan and all they'd need to do was applying "checkmate" Har.
So, let it be.
Domain Expansion (patched): Evening Moon of Misty Forest.
Not one, not two but three guys synchronically performed the same hand gesture, Aura density and space control level.
This patched domain technique is made during the process of studying the concept of "barriers in space" and an effort to apply the anti-domain effect of Instant Domain on Zone and carve the ability into that space without holding the barrier.
It's quite abstract but you can imagine it like this. Domain is a captured and isolated zone from the general space, different from dimension and realm, it temporarily grants the casters the authority to "expand" their attacks through abilities. It's just like one move but different hitbox within and without domain as conditions. And to have that kind of sure-hit and guaranteed strike, the casters must have an isolated zone first.
That's the problem for Leo, Alan and Pyan. Aetheria mentioned that not everyone can reach the concept of space, including Space Breaker and barriers in Domain Expansion. Without that awareness of space concept, they can't build up the barrier, and also can't isolate the space.
That's why the Patched Domain Technique was invented. We should mention Alan for this honor, he is the first guy in the three who came up with the idea of a barrierless domain-like zone. Yet, Pyan was the first one to draw onto that original design an idea of materializing their abilities.
Yes, not carving into space, but materializing them into space. Through Mold, they make weapons by Aura and transfer their power into them by Bind. Aura can be imagined as a conduit of Ability, instead of carving the power into space for sure-hit strikes, this technique only carves it into the materialized weapons and unleash the strikes later.
Advantages are obviously the prepared maximized one strike each weapon carries on itself.
Don't look down upon this small thing, averagely it takes Aura users two breaths to start unleashing their Aura all around the veins. Two more breaths to accumulate it into a part at least, and two more for a maximized strike launched. Based on the experience and level of Aura control, this process can be shortened, yet, currently no one can lower it below a second.
In a decisive moment, an instant maximized strike would also be a key to end the match and hold in hand the victory. Beside that, the mist made by Aura of Leo also works as a veil blocking the target's vision and perception. Just like the case of Savan in the last fight, he could only keep track of one target during the process.
Savan could play around because he should've experienced something alike or even worse than their combo. But they believe that Har isn't that kind of experienced fighter, this disadvantage of him might cause troublesome moments. Indeed, Har is currently unable to know that he's being attacked from behind.
*Splash* – His head was blown off but, "I don't think it's a good choice to approach me like that."
Grabbing the swinging three-section staff, Har strongly pulls it forward himself while binding Paragon along with shadow essence in rope forms. That headless body keeps moving itself for a fast counter strike toward Paragon without a mistake, incredibly.
Explanation? Just look at his rear dude, there's a crimson spirit floating over him obviously as a bright sun during day time.
Spirit: Puppet Manipulation.
Also, the domain has already been built up, which means Leo, Alan, Pyan and Paragon are currently in target by its sure-hit effect. Unless…
*Whirr* – As a wind, it spreads out wave by wave. The oscillation in space doesn't lie to anyone. Yes, no longer a zone, their patched domain has finally reached the threshold of "domain" concept.
*Fshhh* – At the edge of the zone, one cyan and one dark flow are clashing madly. This is the evidence of two existence vying to occupy space.
Oh, Instant Domain? Like that guy? Har smiles.
*that guy = Aetheria.
Learning from his experience and suggestion of the Aetheria on his side, Har swiftly rushes toward that half sphere cage. Of course, aiming to eliminate at least one of the casters to break the domain. Instant Domain has no barrier, which means he can bypass the edge without any trouble.
The only thing that he might temporarily lose is the support of the sure-hit effect, but it doesn't matter at all. Since RampThica is already to release herself inside his shadow, it's just straight up a victory for Har at the start.
Ready?
Of course, dear.
*Vsh* – Leaving behind an unclear afterimage, Har steps right over the edge of the zone and seals his hands together. It's old but useful, this movement saves him time to call out his beast and take chances for sub-movements, causing a little bit of advantage next turn himself.
Yet, what if it isn't Instant Domain, but Counter-field instead?
*Clash* – When his back exceeded that edge, the Aura flowing inside and outside himself instantly got paused, as if there's a lock that locked them down.
Sure-hit strike is the guaranteed to land strike based on the condition that the caster's Aura wraps around targets. This kind of attack might carry the "sure-hit effect," which can be imagined as a second hit strike.
In Har's domain, the sure-hit strike is a harmless touch through the overflowing Aura carved into the captured space and Aura negating is the sure-hit effect of that guaranteed strike. The sure-hit strike never hits the caster of the domain but the redirected or deflected one can "accidentally" do it.
The advanced technique developed on the base of Guard, Counter-field – deflecting the sure-hit strikes of domains below a specific cap.
Based on that fact, when the gap was close enough, Pyan just could deflect it to apply Aura negated effect on its own caster - Har. And without the support of Aura, Shadow Gates - negated; RampThica - locked; Defense - reduced.
*Smack* – His face – got attacked.
Yet, it feels like not much damage landed on him actually. Har flip back and step on a muscular, giant and sturdy pair of arms. At the wrists, he starts to move forward when they lift him up a bit. Following that movement, RampThica controls the shadow around her to crawl toward the enemies as a snake.
"Necrosec." – A staff made of bones, two hearts and a skull has been called out. It still looks terrible as ever. Within a dark orb held between the jaws, it sings up a rhythm of lamenting souls and a wrath of sins.
Around them, a hundred corpses show up and invade the patched domain. Obviously, Har sees those weapons pinned to the ground and he wants to bait his enemies using it.
But different from what he predicted, all the corpses touching the edge are already frozen. Fine, Leo is an Ice element Aura user, it isn't that surprising.
*Crack* – Smashing one's skull, Leo knows that there's a concentrated energy orb attached inside the corpse.
Seems like he can make them explode. Leo also seals around thirty corpses inside his ice spikes, temporarily negating all of them.
No matter how many times Har tries to activate the orbs, those thirty corpses are still there, sealed inside the spikes.
"Runes?"
Shining inside those seals are many lines of runes sparkling, it seems like Leo just trained himself with special lessons.
Looks like Runic Talisman techniques, is there really a runesmith in Hunter Council? Har wonders.
Impossible, it can't be. It's not the mentioned one Aetheria said, somewhat different.
Still looking in that direction, Har feels like he can't break in as usual, he needs something better.
"RampThica."
"Yes, dear."
*Crack* – Also the sounds of torn flesh clang around, she is evolving. Do you remember the moment that I described RampThica as having four arms? This time, it increases to six total. Her forehands are all covered in thick and dense biological metal armors. Fingers are all rebuilt to a lot of sharp claws, metal beneath its blades is nothing but mud.
Of course, the structure, length and density of her bones and muscles are also reformed to a better form to suit the new changes. Removing the legs and replacing them with darkness, inside this domain, she can control everything to fly. At her six elbows, six blades of bones are also attached there. Truly a monster, a kind of monster that's born for massacring and slaughtering.
"Who wants to die first?" - Rushing toward the patched domain, RampThica swings two of her left arms to target Leo. Just finishing him off, then Har is free to invade.
*Smack* – Parrying that strike, Leo instantly froze those two fists into ice.
*Crack* – He crushes them into pieces, easily as pie. Yet, to his surprise, the only broken thing is the thin layer over those two fists. In other words, RampThica took no damage at all.
*Smack* – Paragon knows what he should do. A strong blow to deflect that strike and a following attack up to three swings knocking back RampThica, enough to force her step on the ice spikes planted before.
*Fshh – Crack* – Even though Leo matched the situation really fast, RampThica still also had time to break the trap under herself by a smash. However, the runes carved inside those spikes just triggered themselves and sealed her right away.
*Fshh* – By a touch, Har instantly negated those runes before they could spread wide. This is the second sure-hit effect of his domain, which requires a skin-to-skin interaction. Not only Aura or Runes, any kind of energy consuming power, which is ruled by Aurorize authority range, can also be negated whenever Har's still touching the target directly.
So it just means that Aura abilities are useless. But mana spells or some consuming Restricted Forces like Rituals, Arcane Runes - Loye, etc. Moreover, if the enemies are strong enough, they can mobilize Divine Force, then this sure-hit effect is useless instead.
What about other dimension powers? Like Hell, Abyss or Heaven. No one knows, just wait.
"That's weird. Did I get weaker?" - *Vsh*
*Clang* – A single metal claw drawn in the air deflected the full-swinged strike from Plaz away as slapping to death a fly, "Or you guys just get stronger?" – Har said, wondering.
'He might have around 5 or 7 beasts like RampThica, be careful' – Aside, Alan murmurs.
'I don't think so. He's not a kind of reckless villain. The wicked nature is hidden on the other side of the mask he always shows out. He doesn't only reveal a part of his power at first, but almost all of them. Perhaps 4, he perhaps has 4 beasts.' – Paragon guesses.
'But how can you know?' – Alan wonders.
'Aetheria's experience, he said this guy always used a reckless attitude to bait his opponent.'
"Don't need to guess, it's actually four indeed. You have your eyes sharp." – Har reveals his trump card instantly.
*Crack* – Under the frozen base of the patched domain, a muscular gorilla broke through it and invaded successfully. Its powerful two arms easily wiped out all the allies. That power can't be looked down upon, with the enhancement of domain, it seems like the beasts just evolved to the higher form.
"So that's how it works." – Paragon reflexes immediately to the shooting object toward his rear, a full-swinged strike performed by Plaz in his hands coercively parried the assault.
Flipping backward, Paragon again prepares for another strike.
*Clang* – That longsword for one more time shines up. Alan takes his time to clash with the hiding beast in shadow.
Black wings and feathers, a crow? He wonders.
*Clang* – Five claws for this time, it reveals itself a part then knocks Alan away to the ground, where Gala is holding its fist for a strong blow.
*Fshh* – Leo swiftly freezes the space around, his Aura control has already reached the threshold of space dominating level (threshold of domain barrier). Yet, it's still coercively to perform after all. Basically, it's no wonder that his ice formation can clash directly with domain effect, in other words, whenever his ice still covers the space around, Leo can't be selected by any domain effect.
And also anyone steps inside that zone.
*Fshhh* – Leo will maintain this "domain" clash until Abyssal Gluttony is gone. And other's job is carrying him soft and sound until that moment comes.
*Smack* – Stretching Plaz, Paragon directly stops Gala right in front of Leo.
Is it cool? Yes.
Did he gain Aura? Yes.
But his left side of body feels like it's going to collapse already, so don't try it in any way at home.
It doesn't matter how many times they try, the situation is still at balance. There's no point to breakthrough, even just a chance. But it's just caused by the disappearance of Pyan Liferberto. Where is he? Right behind Har.
Based on the fact that Leo's ice can reach the space and isolate the domain effect, we can claim that whenever the Aura can spread to the space structure, even just a bit, it is still able to parry the sure-hit strikes.
So why should those hands hesitate? Burning up the Aura into the fire essence, Pyan spreads it around himself to form a special protection beneath the pressure of Har's domain. It's not like Counter-field, it deflects sure-hit strikes not, but an even more simplified Instant Domain with smaller scale and better density.
*Clash* – His style is still that rapier, however, if the only increase there was speed, it'd be a shame to admit. Learning from the last defeat, he gave up the Hea Sword Style, also his old rapier sword style. He demands the better one.
He knows that he can't create something to stay at the same level as Savan, nor copy Flowing Water Doctrine.
Yet, if the sea is too large for him to embrace, then he'll do it to every drop of water falling from the sky. Hidden inside the raindrops, he learnt something special that can't be expressed by words.
Isn't the Flowing Water Doctrine developed on the greatness of sea? He wondered.
Then why can't my imagination immerse in the greatness of nature too? He declared himself.
"So, here comes the rain, for my enlightenment."
Continuously and seemingly infinite, that thin blade forms a rain falling down upon RampThica, who's protecting Har. Each time it cuts, each time the metal sound clangs around. But Pyan isn't in a rush, he knows persistence pays off. However, a gutter only becomes a river if it's given time. Lamti gives not to Pyan, nor any enemy of its master.
Its claws finally tear down the veil hiding itself, those two wings strongly spread out and parry the strike coming from its back sharp and clear. Its body is overwhelming dangerously. An eagle with the body made all of shadow essence, a muscular body of a maniac stuck in gyms for ten years with no legs day skipped.
The even more brutal thing is its two arms. Wrapped by spikes, as a pair of gauntlets, they make it even look more wicked. Attached to them, five metal sharp claws for each side, which can easily cut through almost natural ores.
A roar, it instantly knocks back all the projectiles shooting toward Har and itself. Lamti swiftly slams down a strike, aiming straight on Pyan head after a leap upward.
*Swish* – From the perspective of normal swordsmen, they can't dodge in the air without support or base to leap away. But he is Pyan, not a normal swordsman in the normal story. What is Aura supposed to be used for?
Concentrating a block in the air, he stepped on it and sprang to the left fast as thunder, fast enough to dodge the slam strike from Lamti. Non-stop, a second block has been made and stepped on. After a swift rotation from his ankle, Pyan leaps toward the eagle with a flowing sword slash cutting forward its neck.
However, he knows that he can't get it this time, so,
*Clang* – Using his left arm gauntlet, nice and neat lands a strike to the slamming down arm of Lamti. Thanks to the spikes, he had a fulcrum to throw force and get reaction force back, lifting himself up even higher.
Now, the height is enough for Pyan to aim for its nape. It makes sense, doesn't it? He doesn't know that these beasts in the domain are different from outside. And he even had not a chance to battle these beasts before, Pyan, Leo and Alan only know RampThica and Savan. Paragon has the experience of Aetheria, who saw only a dog and unfinished RampThica around one month ago. So basically, all of them will apply normal strategy to these beasts. Nape, neck, big arteries, heart, lungs… the weak spots are all targeted.
*Plop* – He hits it, but the given sound is like a falling stone hitting the liquid, not a blade piercing meat.
Aura made beasts. He claims, but something is missing.
Spiritual features but in the physical body? What is this kind of creation?
*Vrrm* – Not even a moment is wasted, Lamti opens its rostrum and charges an orb full of Aura inside. Obviously, it's aiming to blow him from something to nothing. Two steps ahead! Lamti also closes its two wings to form a no escape cage especially for Pyan.
His sword style focuses on accumulation and time to beat the opponent, so a one-turn-kill strategy is useful to finish him off.
*Clack* – Parrying a strike from Plaz, Har catches the three-section staff and throws it away, disarming Paragon. But he doesn't know that two dragons are rushing toward his rear, fast as thunder.
As usual, he seals his hands together and opens a gate right behind him. But those two dragons weren't deflected away, it bypassed the space gate with ease. Open up his eyes wide, this is the first time Har's seen this problem.
Negate my gate? That's crazy. Har instantly calls out Hamung to protect him right before the strike hits the target.
It is a big bull made by shadow essence, it has a pair of sharp horns pointing forward as two lancers on head. It's quite hard to say but Hamung is somewhat fused with Drake. Those four beast-like feet allow it to move flexibly, also a best build in physique especially to knock down everything in the way. It can't fly high like Lamti, nor jump and smash everything like Gala but it can run and run and run then crash everything to separated parts.
"So there's one more beast, isn't it?" – Alan unleashes his second flame, one of the Origin Flames, which is the special flame essence made among Heaven and Earth.
But it seems like not that old, perhaps a sparkle from the true flame? Har looks at the cyan flame flowing around Alan as water and evaluates.
"What a surprise!" – He claps his hands, also buys some seconds to look at the System for guidance.
Alan can currently mobilize two different flames at the same time. But it requires a flawless process, you'd better aim for his brain…
Bet. His eyes shine with determination, but also a wicked thought within, his nature of course.
"Don't let any of them bother me." – Dropping an order, Har rushes toward Alan with two gauntlets and Necrosec on hands.
*Fsh* – A beam shoots straight at Alan, it's a concentrated one hundred of low quality soul fragments that Har somewhere collected before. Because it's only made of 100 fragments, it couldn't do much but take Alan a move to deflect it away.
*Vsh – Clash* – The blades of a longsword and a left gauntlet just clashed toward each other.
Reminder~ The gauntlet only negates protection. If the slash is parried, deflected or clashed by opponents, Har can't apply the passive of his weapon.
*Clash - Clash* – Two more swings of both sides and the gap between them has been lengthened to five meters. After a step, Har disappears and approaches Alan with Rage activated on his gauntlet. Consequently, he moves his hips and throws a strong blow toward Alan's left face.
*Clash* – The first impact, he parried it. But then, Alan quickly realized that he just chose to do a dumb act. The trick of Rage passive lies in the deceptive sense of danger it conveys. In its core, it allows Har to launch a 3x maximum output strike himself. But in any case of observation, if the opponent isn't above Sage level, Har can still hide the true blade under the veil.
*Plop* – Jumping from the gate down on the ground, RampThica instantly throws another strike into Alan's head. Thankfully it's a strike to his head, Alan swiftly pulled something inside the space structure. The incredible thing was the movement of the space surface, it bent smoothly deflecting that fist.
However, no matter how deeply it was hidden, inside this domain, Har's sensitivity is absolute. In his sight, he sees it clearly, a cloak totally blended into space structure. That guy is a genius, for whoever made that item.
Hiding inside the space, then deflecting all the objects' trajectories, should I steal them? His eyes shine blatantly with greed.
I suggest you not to. An explosive array was attached to it, especially opposing a thief like you.
Array? Does this world even have arrays too? But who is a thief here?
The one who stole a bunch of others' items and beat the patients blatantly later five days ago.
Not me.
I didn't say it's you.
*Ding - Ding* – Attached under the staff is a black metal bell with runes. It's not a part of Necrosec, the connection between them is just a runic black silk cord. Nevertheless, it's still quite simple to show Har's determination.
*Crackle* – Revealed inside the blazing blue flame, a golden-runic black talisman assembling with the bell. One necromancer, one manipulator, they are the two best supports for Necrosec currently.
*Vsh* – Alan swiftly approaches Har without any hesitation.
"It's not a sentai movie by the way."
*He means he doesn't have to wait for the enemy to transform totally.
*Clash* – Of course, RampThica is still here.
Leaping to the same direction of the strike, Alan had enough time to mobilize enough force to clash directly to that fist of RampThica. Consequently, it took him two steps to stabilize himself after that. Taking the advantage, Alan bursts two flames inside his heart and keeps circulating them all around the veins. As a loop itself non-stop holding up his corpse beneath the pressure.
*Vsh* – He jumps up and drags the cloak hiding inside the space structure. Alan swiftly shoots five arrows into Har, who is still preparing. RampThica of course stays right in front of her master and deflects all the projectiles away but she doesn't know that they are explosive.
*Vroom* – Alan had wrapped him inside that cloak and entered another layer of space. Then he selected the destination and jumped into that coordinate, right in front of RampThica.
His left hands intentionally restore the arrows, which are going to explode soon, into the cloak. Also the other hand holds the blade tight, directly clashing toward the attack of RampThica.
*Bang* – After swinging Plaz thrice, Paragon has already launched a strong blow toward Hamung. Even though it's strong and heavy itself, it's still a beast.
Humans are weaker than others in many fields. Beasts have their gifted physique, elves are talented in sensing mana particles and spells, beside them, there are more and more species stronger than humans.
This was mentioned by Paragon during lunch with Aranta. He wondered if The Great Continent was a cage made to lock humans inside itself. With the stats given since birth, Paragon had no belief that humans could survive in nature without help. Especially since this is a fantasy world with high differences between species, level and power, humans would've been absolutely cooked.
But after that, his conjecture was even more than just a guess. Through observation, Paragon realized that beasts have better physique, but worse talent in controlling mana or Aura. Their body structure is strong enough for them to burst Aura all around their bodies through veins, which humans can't do.
That's why humans had reason to adapt and study the best way for them to maximize power with limits.
Yet, Paragon and Aranta were on their way to clear a Rank-9 Dimensional Rift at the East of Empire Cala. They found an intelligent beast, it was a merged beast of tiger and lizard. It heard and understood the human language, it could copy and redid all Paragon taught after a glance.
Unfortunately, he soon realized that beasts have their own limits. Their maximized Aura technique is bursting everything all at once and also releasing it all at once. They can't maintain a stable circle of Aura like humans.
Fortunately, that experience is now useful.
*Bang* – For Paragon to counter Hamung. Based on the structure of its body, he realized it's only powerful if given enough time for a crashing strike. Even in the case that the condition is perfect, Paragon can still deflect the strike and counter it after that.
*Bang - Bang* – Two more strikes were thrown, Paragon had already blown away half its head.
*Zshhh* – It beats. The weapon held by Paragon is beating as if there's a heart inside that three-section staff. This is what both him and Aranta witnessed two months ago.
"Are you good?"
*Clash* – Alan is still struggling with RampThica, yet, with the support of legendary items, he's still able to stand strong beneath the pressure of a A threat beast.
"Ye."
*Clash* – The even more impressive thing is the second flame of Alan. Its name is The Flame of Frost, a unique essence with freezing features but exists in flame nature, a flame that can freeze everything.
This combo doesn't weaken Alan, but even brings him up to a higher level of durability. Flame essence Aura like him can burn people, but he must move that Aura through his veins before burning someone. That's why Aura essence users usually become overheated.
Now he has two flames, one hot one cold, perfect balance, isn't it?
The risk of overheating is now getting ridded of. The issue left is the durability of his own self, it's only a problem of who can last longer after all.
*Clash - Splash* – For the first time, after freezing and burning one spot on RampThica's right arm seven times, the structure of biological armor there is finally broken. It also opens up a chance for him to transfer all the flames into that wound - burning it inside.
Knowing RampThica is a Chimera, not undead like Savan, from the last time they fought. With preparation especially to negate her once and forever, Alan is here to take down the biggest road block on their way.
*Graah!* – Struggling with madness, RampThica frantically approaches Alan with her maximum speed - aiming to take him down as fast as possible.
System, Life Force Core III. Har finally puts all the new clothes on himself, really handsome.
15000 points.
Deal.
Choose which beast to apply…
RampThica.
Successfully.
*Crackle* – Not only the sound of burnt flesh, but a cracked one. RampThica is supported by a rich source of regeneration right now, besides her passive physique.
"Stay back, leave everything to me." – Har waves his hand slightly backward.
"But dear…"
"Don't worry, just adapt to that fire, then you're good to stay right next to me."
"Got it."
*Vsh - Clash* – Both of them, no one is wasting their time. Har instantly recalls Necrosec and parries the blazing flash strike from Alan.
*Vroom - Vrmm* – Dragging the cloak away, five explosive orbs are sent back to the battlefield. They're all flying toward Har with the speed of mach 70.
*Bang* – Five swift shots and all of them exploded in the air almost at the same time. This is just the beginning.
*Bang* – Another heavy strike striking down upon Hamung's head. Flowing with that reaction force, Paragon swiftly steps in the air and dashes toward Har with another heavy strike.
*Ding* – Following that bell ring, the souls instantly get unleashed. They flow as a river, aiming toward Paragon to damage his mind's durability. But it seems like Har just underrated Paragon himself.
Ultimate Move: Jack of All Trades has been activated.
*Fshh* – Among the screams of them, a burnt sound is heard really well. One left one right, one red one blue, those two dragons madly devour all the souls flying around their master within a hunt.
*Clash* – A fast as thunder sword strike instantly swings into his neck, but swiftly gets parried by Necrosec.
That staff, it's hard as hell. Paragon curses whoever made that item.
Obviously the pressure spreading from that cursed staff is only at legendary items, in the worst case, it can be a high quality legendary item. Yet, his sense is badly tingling about a threat beyond a legendary item.
*Clash* – Parrying Hamung's strike, Alan keeps moving backward until he and Paragon face each other back to back. Slightly moving to the left by each of them, they instantly switch the opponent for a better match.
Paragon instantly drops a lot of weapons on the ground, this is his old trick in the fight with that Wyvern. Yet, he made a critical mistake by himself. Paragon can negate the sure-hit strike by the overflowing Aura around himself, but he didn't do the same thing with those weapons.
While Paragon was rushing toward Hamung, he finally approached a uchigatana set perfectly right next to him. Meanwhile, after baiting Alan to miss his slash to the right side. He knows that his opponent will swing that blade vertically after that, so he swiftly plants Necrosec to the ground.
*Clash* – As predicted, Alan has already missed another strike, also a chance to bother Har in the next movement.
Swiftly sealing his hands, Har instantly controls the abyss hidden under the mist of darkness to devour all the weapons planted on the ground. Consequently, Paragon just missed catching the uchigatana, also no more weapon to support him indeed.
*Crack - Splash* – A strong crashing headbutt suddenly hits Paragon itself. Those two strong horns brutally pierce through his flesh and tear it badly.
Thanks to his preparation, Paragon usually hides Plaz inside his private spatial storage just in case he needs a back up. And that's how his life was stolen from the harvestation of the reaper. Within a glance, Har knows that Paragon is still able to fight. So he orders Hamung to keep pushing Paragon backward.
Har doesn't stand still, he dodges another slash from Alan and instantly approaches Paragon from behind with the Dagger of Seven Sins on hands. Even though the Sure-Death effect isn't ready, it's still a weapon, and it's still able to take one's life.
But there's a detail that Har accidentally forgot about. He forgot that Lamti took too long to finish Pyan off with the trap that he claimed was undodgeable. And right now, that guy has already stood right behind him with a blazing blade ready to swin–
*Clash* – Har instantly reacts to the oscillation in the space around him, parrying with the blade attached to his left gauntlet. He also takes that chance to hold the right wrist of the opponent and throws a Rage punch into that face.
*Clash* – Moving forward right at the hidden spot behind Pyan, Alan stabs his blade into Har's right joint, at the shoulder, splitting it down.
*Splash* – Paragon also gets rid of Hamung and throws a decisive strike at Har's head, crushing it into a mess of dark liquid.
*Thud* – A strong kick sending him flying toward Hamung. That headless Har's corpse critically blocks the sight of the bull, buying their time to move forward and prepare another decisive strike.
*Clap* – Sealing his hands again, without a head to control the body, Har one more time seals his hands to activate Necrosec with maximum output. As usual, whenever Har got in trouble, a bunch of undeads were unleashed. This time isn't an exception, a thousand corpses suddenly pop into the domain from everywhere.
Yet, it's also a chance for Leo to stop maintaining his zone to clash with domain since Har gave up strengthening his domain sure-hit strike. He takes time to freeze all the space around, turning this domain into his without building up a barrier.
*Vsh* – That corpse disappears and approaches Leo within a blink, after that movement, his head is already there, nice and neat.
"You've fallen for it." – He smiles, so wicked.
*Crack* – Beneath the 3x power of Rage passive, no matter how many layers of ice Leo made, he still got a heavy strike into the solar plexus. The only fortune is the actual damage wasn't strong enough to blow him out of the ice zone.
Paragon switches to a longsword, one of the last seven weapons staying inside his partial storage. A flying slash instantly deflects a hook from Har, also buys Leo a moment to land a counterstrike.
*Swish* – Dodging and rotating clockwise, Har made Leo miss his right punch and also let his counterstrike land straight at Leo's right face. What a clean hit! Non-stop, he keeps rotating until he gets back the stability in a short time, meanwhile, his blade has already stabbed into the opponent's back.
Even more wicked, Har stabbed it upward, which made it work like a hook. After spreading his legs while rotating clockwise for one more time, Har enters his best posture for a strong throw.
*Crack* – Breaking himself into many ice fragments, Leo unleashed a lot of runes intertwined into a net. It isn't the first time Leo has done this trick. Beneath a strong smash from RampThica, Leo broke and built up himself from ice after converting his flesh body into ice essence.
So this is a trap he made, incredible. Har evaluates the situation. These runes make him unable to move, even just an inch. He is so dead right now.
Taking a look around, he finally realizes that Lamti and Gala are already sealed like him. Hamung is just taken down by both Paragon and Pyan, Alan is approaching him with a blazing sword.
Should he call out RampThica? She just consumed half of the orb, not a wise choice.
So, follow my call, reveal yourself! Har activates the clone inside shadowverse, which usually works as a second plan to summon a beast.
*Grah!* – A strike heavily threw Alan away. Its two heads shake left to right, right to left, then those eyes glance straight at Paragon as a true predator. A strong beast, a massive two heads, four fangs, two couples of eyes and a pair of shadow wings. Five meters high, those four legs and overwhelming claws are too obvious to determine who is now on top of the wild hunt right here.
"Dualtigra, hold back not, kill them all." – Har activates the clone and his special power inside the domain, which allows him to switch position with a clone whenever two individuals are still in the same dimension.
*Plop* – He also jumps out of a shadow gate, now all he needs to do is just a touch and those runes will be negated.
'This guy, an unfair bias of creation.' – Paragon swiftly catches Alan and curses.
'F* it bro, this is even without RampThica and Savan.' – Bursting those two flames to regenerate through Ignite, Alan intertwines them into one flame at his blade.
'RampThica was told to adapt to the flames, we should have at least half a minute to take him down.' – Alan tells the truth, he also looks at Leo.
'Two more minutes is the maximum, his domain can't last that long, creation can't be that unfair.' – He is still spreading the runic ice spikes into the dominated space, trying to capture it himself.
'Alright, let me and Paragon bait his moves, Paragon, you must take down at least one of his arms. Let him have no chance to seal his hands.' – Alan makes a plan.
'Leave it to me.'
'Good. Pyan, you back up us if necessary and Leo, act if needed.' – Alan leaves a mission and rushes forward.
Accompanying beside him, Paragon is also transferring a lot of Aura into Plaz, 'Bet.'
*Ding - Ding* – Following the rings, that robe slightly sways among the flows of Aura. Har has finally finished his transformation, actually he just put on himself a new outfit. It's quite complicated to describe without a chance to see it with your own eyes, but I'll try my best.
Starting with the ruffled shirt in the very inner layer. It looks like a standard outfit for noble honors in Western fantasy, a stand-up collar is too high to blend into the common, and also too white to hide among darkness. Attached to the shirt, a row of black buttons slightly flows below the sparkling accessories. Under his collar, a ribbon bow nice and neat places itself with two thin strings intertwining to the second layer of clothes - a vest.
A black vest is the irreplaceable partner with a white ruffed shirt, isn't it? Attached on it, a lot of patterns sewed with gold, meticulous as a renowned painting. Tied at his hips, a standard black sash of a high rank necromancer is well used to change the theme of the outfit, from a neatly dressed noble to a more free-spirited mage. It's also the third layer of the total outfit, but it only covers his lower body.
*He still wears matching suit trousers, don't worry.
The fourth one is a stylized robe especially made just for Har, a black robe with long two-layered sleeves. At the edge of each one, here attached the twelve silver icons of specific Moon's Cycle. The cape, the robe, the sleeves are long enough to lie themselves on the ground, as a shiny waterfall of polished obsidian, but somewhat a veil of the dark night floating over the sky.
However, it's not all the things yet. Descending upon his right shoulder, a sole-side outercoat overdrawn by some sharp and polished raven feathers at the front of that shoulder. None of them have the same length and size, but all of them point to one spot, to a ruby star-like gem. It also lies there as a hook, holding the cape on to that spot, steady as an iron claw.
"Shall we begin?" – Leisurely, he yawns.
'I'm f*ing want to kick his ass right now.' – It seems like Alan just got ragebaited.
'Don't be reckless, but honestly I feel the same.' – Paragon transfers even more Aura into Plaz, transforming itself.
'One, two, three…'
'Go.' – Paragon instantly rushes forward. On hands a three-section staff, he swiftly swings it all around to accumulate the momentum through time.
Yet, Lamti instantly assaults him from the left. After a clash, they both step backward thrice. Consequently, the two arms of Paragon are shaking non-stop, while Lamti just sacrificed its entire left arm.
*Vsh* – Rushing toward Lamti again, Paragon swings Plaz straight to its head. However, it's just a bait. After faking out one strike by somersaulting over Lamti, it's too perfect for a down slamming strike straight on Har's face.
*Snap* – Crawling from the abyss under the mist, a half snake monster with six spiky arms all of sudden throws its fists toward the descending weapon.
*Crack* – Two of those three got cracked, but they were just strong enough to stop Plaz right at mid-air. The last one swiftly grabbed Paragon tight as an anaconda coiled around himself.
Hax, at that moment, Paragon felt the eyes of the predator, his sense of danger was lingering madly just for that monster. It's RampThica, but her form is now actually a monster by words. A head with three crimson eyes, attached to a lot of thin meat rods ends up with a sharp blade for each. Her appearance right now threatens him with death.
That enormous muscular body, those six brutal arms with spikes and claws none of those details really gives people a feeling of fortune, but death, but pain of being torn and a fear of being killed in torture.
*Grrr…* – "Dear, can I tear him apart?"
"Of course, do as you will."
"Great, thank you."
"Not that fast." – A blazing blade, sharply cuts through the darkness hiding the truth. It takes down that arm of RampThica, also intertwines light through the sparkles of fire - revealing a bull and a gorilla standing right behind Har.
Tch, that's why I hate summoners or beast tamers. But how the hell does his power reach this kind of level? It'd be impossible.
Alan burns up the flame intertwined blue and red lights inside, while cursing Har, he again performs a slash toward RampThica.
*Clash* – Covering herself with crystal scales, they don't only help her prevent the slash, but also isolate the flame from her flesh, an absolute protection beneath heat and fires.
Then take this. Alan instantly reverses the flame, that blue flame instead of releasing heat, it devours the heat around RampThica. Leo also throws a mist floating toward them, aiming to freeze that monster.
*Fshh - Crack* – At the same time, the ice was formed but also broken beneath one movement of each side. Nevertheless, Alan has already stabbed his longsword through her chest. It's enough for him to freeze all her veins, regardless of the restriction.
A smirk, RampThica is smirking blatantly, her smile even reveals all the teeth. Grabbing Alan by two hands, RampThica just totally captured him inside her claws. Two more hands instantly negate his two arms, also the longsword which is blazing.
The sound of something wet and clammy, her oral cavity suddenly opens wide. Obviously, she's aiming to eat her prey raw, at this point, seasoning is unnecessary.
"Let's eat."
Swishing something inside his mouth, Alan spats something into the wide open throat of RampThica. Meanwhile, the flames are bursting.
*Crackle* – Transforming himself into flame essence, Alan swiftly escapes that prison and throws a kick into that chin - closing the entire mouth of that monster.
*Bang* – It's an explosion, it occurs inside her stomach and it brutally tears her viscera into a mess.
*Urg…* – Still standing right there, but her body is temporarily negated. Beasts', also Chimeras', bodies aren't made to maintain a stable circle of Aura inside their veins, that's what I said. So basically beasts only burst the Aura into the part of their bodies, which they need to land strikes, also to form a protection of Aura at the targeted parts. Obviously, an attack damaging inside out is a critical strike that can determine the fight. That's Alan's strategy.
Har steps forth, he kneels down a bit and touches her head, "Remember this defeat, you can win next time."
"Sorry… dear."
"It's fine, no one can win all things in life." – Recalling her back to the shadowverse. Honestly, RampThica's regeneration doesn't meet the requirement to lay feet on this battle. For a trade back, her physique, maximum output and herself are enough to be an unstoppable fortress.
"Exploding an epic item just to take down my elite temporarily. What a trade!" – As mocking, Har claps his hands while approaching them.
"Gala, Lamti, Hamung, Dualtigra, go."
As soon as that order finishes, those four shadow beasts instantly rush forward as four huge tanks.
*Ding* – A ring and a thousand corpses overflow through the abyss under the mist. Har is truly a necromancer, a summoner and a spellcaster right at this moment. He's a genius, but also a maniac, or even a monster under that skin. Whatever but a harmless individual.
"Grant me the honor to extend my greeting to all of the guests standing right there." – He dodges the shooting Plaz by moving his head sharply.
"I am Har." – Swiftly rotating himself and moving to the left while using Necrosec to parry the first dragon.
"They call me Anomaly." – The orb inside the skull slightly shines up and negates the second dragon.
"But I don't think I'm a villain, I'm such a good guy, aren't I?" – Grabbing Paragon's neck, he throws the opponent toward Gala, which is rushing forward with a heavy strike.
*Clash* – Parrying one slash, Har deflects the blade and stuns Alan with a bunch of ropes made by shadow essence. Despite the burning flames, those ropes are still there and hold tight the target.
*Vrmm* – Three thousands of souls.
*Fshh* – Shooting a beam, but it's soon deflected away by a parry. But that parry also took a chance of defending himself in a short moment from Alan. That blade of the left gauntlet has already stabbed through his heart sharply.
Yet, Alan still grabs that arm and transfers all the flames into Har's body. His eyes show nothing related to a near-death guy, there are still the two flames burning madly.
"Unfortunately, my heart isn't at the left."
"Oh."
Rage, thrice maximum output strike. A heavy fist is thrown and stopped right at the middle of the process. As a price, the entire left arm of Alan just broke into scraps.
*Fshh* – After freezing Lamti, Leo is rushing toward Har. Yet, standing right in front of him is a double-headed tiger beast, Dualtigra.
"Tch, you big cat."
"Alright, now what would you do?" – After failing twice, Har charges up his right gauntlet for the third strike.
"Ready?"
*Crackle* – Twice in a day, Alan again transforms to a flame and gets out of the trap.
As predicted. Har disappears.
When his afterimage was caught again, it's already right in front of Leo. Realizing that movement and the fact that Pyan and Paragon aren't free to help him. Alan swiftly cancels the essence mode to rush there. Even though the pressure accumulating inside his body isn't manageable. Although each breath of himself feels heavy as a mountain pressing him down onto the ground. Alan knows that he must do something.
As predicted. A smirk from Har, that silhouette instantly disappears. Alan knows that he just got into another trap. It wasn't Har, it's just a clone of shadow essence. And Har is now right at his rear.
Rage, thrice maximum output.
*Crack* – Into the spine, that fist mercilessly broke all the bones beneath itself. Alan is currently negated.
*Splash* – After struggling, Paragon has finally taken down Hamung. Also Pyan, he just splitted the head of Gala. Leo is still facing Dualtigra, that's why Lamti just stands right in front of Pyan - forcing Paragon to choose. Whether he helps Pyan to take down Lamti, or whether he saves Alan from the scythe of reapers.
As predicted, Paragon unleashes his power up to 200% for the ultimate move again. A silhouette is left at that spot and he's rushing toward Alan as thunder. Two dragons are also called out and shot toward the opponent as two undodgeable beams.
*Crack* – All of a sudden, the entire sky of darkness just broke into fragments.
As predicted. But this time is on Leo's side. It's true that there was a two-minute durability for the domain before it collapsed at the point Leo murmured to his companions. However, Leo has non-stop broken the barrier from inside by intertwining his Aura into the dominated space, then searching for the edge and damaging it.
It's such a fortune for Har that Leo didn't reach the level of expanding his domain, that's why it took him 2 minutes and 40 seconds to break the edge after the patched domain had been broken. Nevertheless, it can't change the fact that the entire domain just crashed down a minute and twenty seconds earlier than what it should be.
And now is the chance for all of them to take advantage. Savan and Zutan are still fighting far from this place and Har must be negated in his Shadow Gate ability after the domain collapse, no matter if it's earlier than usual. That's the trade off, the balance mechanism of this world.
"So go on guys! We're winning!" – Leo shouts out.
*Clack* – Rushing toward Har, Paragon is holding the Aura bursting Plaz, which is cutting through the winds as a sharp blade.
*Splash - Splash* – Relentlessly as a rain, each time that blade pierces forward, each time the Dualtigra and Lamti are stopped right before they can do something. Leo doesn't play around, he also runs as fast as possible and stops Hamung right at the moment it plans to chase Paragon.
*Clash* – Swinging his sword suddenly, Alan disarmed Har right before he could parry Paragon's strike. Taking advantage of the momentum, he dashes to the left and rotates himself as fast as possible.
*Clash* – Another slash, another road block to stop the last shadow beast on its way protecting Har.
"Do it!" – A sip of blood overflows through his throat, Alan heavily knocks back that gorilla while shouting.
Despite the effort to dodge away, the two dragons are already blocking all the way to escape around him. Above, a powerful slam is approaching swiftly as thunder. So the last option is the ground, hiding inside the shadow gate.
*Clap* – Sealing his hands together, Har of course is calling out the shadow gate again.
*Crackle* – Burning up from all his body, the azure flame finally bursts out and freezes Har inside a block of ice. Even though in their thoughts, Har's ability should be negated, they know not all of them are. So this is a guaranteed chance after all.
I feel it. His eyes shine, Paragon swiftly slams down Plaz onto Har's head.
I see it!
*Crack* – Chrono Rift!
