Luna Kindred: "?"
Trying to occupy her seat the moment she arrives? This woman is so arrogant!
Stargazer might be able to endure this, but Luna Kindred could not.
Before she could even speak, the elegantly standing Miss Hanabi opened her mouth, her tone as gentle as a high-class lady's.
"I've only just transferred here, so you could say I'm completely unfamiliar with this school. Even after school would be fine, so I hope someone could show me around…"
As she spoke, Hanabi's gaze skipped over Luna Kindred and landed on Ye Feng, who was sitting in the back row by the window.
Ye Feng felt an intoxicating sensation, as if being tempted by a demon. If an ordinary person were to be held by her gaze, they would likely be utterly captivated in an instant.
What incredible charm.
She looked so petite, lacking Elysia's flawlessness, Aponia's voluptuousness, and Mobius's seductiveness.
And yet, Hanabi exuded a tipsy feeling of "fatal temptation," making one want to press her down and [BEEP] her relentlessly [BEEP].
"?"
Luna Kindred noticed the transfer student's gaze. Though her expression remained completely unchanged, she stared back with a sharp glint in her eyes that seemed to promise a cold, brutal death.
Luna Kindred understood. The reason Hanabi wanted this specific seat was because of Ye Feng.
"There's an empty seat over there, too."
Luna Kindred pointed coldly toward a corner by the door.
However, Hanabi refused with a smile. With impeccable etiquette, she stepped forward and stopped directly in front of Ye Feng's desk, her hands folded gracefully before her skirt.
"My, my—might I be so bold as to inquire your name?"
Oh?
Such sharp perception.
Hanabi was incredibly focused, seeing Ye Feng's uniqueness at a single glance.
Although she was under a state of [Light Hypnosis], having been implanted with the identity and background of a "transfer student" the moment she arrived, she could still sense the discordance of the entire world.
And despite that, she had accurately pinpointed the crucial node.
As expected of Hanabi-chan, the ultimate agent of Elation who drove countless powerful figures across the galaxy mad, yet remained completely untouchable.
Ye Feng looked warmly at the elegant transfer student.
She was a girl with her black hair tied into twin tails. Her skin was as white and smooth as a pearl, and the neck exposed by her collar was remarkably slender, as were her limbs, which looked as though they would snap with the slightest force.
Her most prominent feature was her bangs. Despite her stunningly beautiful face, her bangs were abnormally long, almost completely covering the left half of her face.
This was a look Ye Feng had specifically chosen for Hanabi.
The Raizen High School uniform, black pantyhose, and bangs covering one eye, revealing only her wine-red right eye.
Aside from her rather lacking bust and hips, she truly looked just like Tokisaki Kurumi.
Speaking of Tokisaki Kurumi, she was a personal favorite of Ye Feng's.
I will always (cross out) love Tokisaki Kurumi.jpg
Ye Feng gave a simple self-introduction, "Ye Feng."
"Ye Feng, is it… Ye Feng…"
Hanabi repeated his name as if savoring a delicacy.
Then, she lightly clapped her hands together. "Could I ask this of you? Please teach me—about everything this academy has to offer."
"Of course. If there's anything you want to know, Hanabi, you can ask me anytime."
A smile graced Hanabi's lips. "Then it's settled! Please guide me well, Ye Feng."
"Finger you? If you insist. I'm always ready to help."
The moment Ye Feng gave his affirmative reply, an icy glare shot over from the side.
Luna Kindred stood up. "Then I won't disturb you two."
With that simple statement, she walked out of the classroom.
As if completely oblivious to the thorny atmosphere hanging in the air, Hanabi cheerfully said to Ye Feng, "Then I'll just sit next to you."
Luna Kindred, who had just reached the doorway, froze. Before she could react, she heard Ye Feng say, "That won't do. This is Luna Kindred's seat. You'll have to discuss it with her and get her permission first."
"Is that so?"
Hanabi pressed a finger to her chin, hesitating for a few seconds before looking toward the door. Luna Kindred was already in the hallway.
Hanabi quickly turned around and chased after her like a naive little girl.
"P-Please wait a moment," she called out to Luna Kindred's retreating back.
The little vampire only walked faster.
She's actually chasing me? What's with this girl?
Wasn't humiliating me to my face enough? Now she has to hunt me down?
If this were the old Luna Kindred, she would have unhesitatingly swung her axe at the girl's face.
But now, she didn't want to start a fight inside the school building.
Without slowing her pace, Luna Kindred moved swiftly toward the door leading to the rooftop.
Ye Feng had brought her here once before. It was a place people rarely visited, a perfect spot for private conversations.
Besides, looking out over St. Freya High School from the rooftop always lifted one's spirits.
Hanabi didn't follow her all the way up. She turned her head and looked back at Ye Feng.
He was more important.
"Could you give me a tour of the campus?"
Hanabi walked back to Ye Feng with dance-like steps, her tone soft as she made her request.
"Sure, I can do that. I've got nothing better to do anyway."
---o---
"Hah… Hah…!"
Perhaps from the continuous walking, Hanabi's shoulders heaved up and down as she leaned her body against the handrail.
After several seconds, once her breathing had stabilized, Hanabi finally spoke.
"Um… please don't walk so fast. I haven't had lunch yet…"
Seeing her appearance, Ye Feng chuckled.
"Hmm… A frail and sickly young lady? That character archetype isn't very appealing these days."
Ye Feng didn't remember giving her any suggestions to that effect; this was a role Hanabi had completely created for herself.
Hanabi raised an eyebrow, and the fatigue from moments ago vanished completely.
For the next few seconds, Hanabi sized Ye Feng up and down with the right eye that wasn't covered by her hair.
She dropped the act.
"Heh, just as I thought. You're different from the others. Everyone else I've walked past here feels like a doll."
"Impressive observation."
"Ahaha, hehehe, tee-hee. It seems my guess was correct. Hey, can you tell me? About this school."
"...!"
The instant Hanabi finished her sentence, a flower-like pattern bloomed in her pink pupils.
Ye Feng feigned a startled jump, taking a step back.
"Oh, my! My, my! What a wonderful reaction! Excellent! Just excellent! But…"
"—!"
In Hanabi's field of vision—
Ye Feng held his breath. Before he could fully retreat, something grabbed his ankle.
At the same time, shimmering gold and red fish seemed to swim through his vision.
When he focused his eyes, he saw that it was a doll that had caught him.
Immediately after, a chair that looked like it belonged in a circus performance appeared behind him.
An invisible force pressed Ye Feng down, forcing him to sit.
"Ugh—"
Even struggling with all his might was useless; he was completely fixed to the chair.
"Hehehe, hee-hee. It's no use, you know. Any effort you make is just a waste of energy. Please, don't bother with such pointless struggles, little small-fry."
Hanabi's face blossomed into a wide grin.
"Will you cooperate with me, Classmate Ye Feng?"
"..."
"Silence? What a shame. Very well~ Since you're unwilling, then the great Lady Hanabi will just have to use her own methods to interrogate you, hmm?"
