Chapter 302 - Chapter 299 : Wedding Final (1)

Like that, the day of the wedding finally arrived.

The ceremony was held on a private island. The venue had been built in a vast open garden overlooking the sea.

White pathways stretched across the green grass, leading toward the enlarged central platform where the ceremony would take place.

Rows of elegant chairs were arranged on both sides while flowers and decorations surrounded the aisle without being overly extravagant.

As the morning progressed, the seats slowly began to fill. Guests from different worlds arrived one after another, each using the invitation Luke had sent.

From the X-Men universe came many familiar faces. Professor Charles Xavier sat near the front with a gentle smile while Erik Lehnsherr occupied the seat beside him.

Hank McCoy, Scott Summers, Ororo Monroe, Logan, and several other mutants had also accepted the invitation and were quietly chatting while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Not long afterward, the Avengers began arriving. Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Pepper Potts, Bruce Banner, Clint Barton, and several other familiar heroes took their seats.

Nick Fury arrived a few minutes later, dressed in a formal black suit that looked strangely out of place on someone usually seen wearing tactical clothing.

Tony looked around the garden. "I've got to admit, Fury actually found a decent place."

Fury, who had just walked over, gave him a sideways glance. "I hired the best wedding planner in the country. If the venue turned out badly, I'd have fired him."

Steve shook his head with a faint smile before sitting beside Bruce.

As guests settled in, conversations gradually spread throughout the venue. Since this was the first time many of the Avengers and X-Men had met each other, introductions naturally began.

Tony, listening to Charles and Erik talk about Luke's past in their universe, looked genuinely surprised. "So he really caused all that trouble in your universe? He actually became the world's most wanted terrorist?"

Charles smiled helplessly. "The circumstances were... complicated."

"He certainly gave us more than a few headaches," Erik added.

Tony shook his head with a laugh.

"I knew there were parts of his life we never heard about."

Among the guests, Pietro was sitting quietly. He had only returned yesterday after being away for a week and had been informed almost immediately that Wanda's wedding would take place today. Even now, he still hadn't fully processed everything.

"Oh, Pietro," Tony said with a grin. "Why do you look so lost? It's your sister's wedding."

Before the conversation could continue, the priest stepped onto the ceremony platform and looked over the gathered guests.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please. The wedding ceremony is about to begin."

The conversations throughout the garden died down. Everyone turned toward the entrance of the aisle.

"The brides will now make their entrance."

Steve looked slightly confused. "Isn't it usually the groom who enters first?"

Tony shrugged, activating his phone camera. "Well, this wedding stopped being 'usual' the moment it involved nine brides. I'm not missing this — there has to be at least one embarrassing moment I can use against Luke later."

Soft music began playing throughout the venue. A few moments later the first bride appeared at the entrance, dressed in an elegant white wedding gown with a veil covering her face, slowly walking down the aisle.

After she reached her position near the platform, the second bride entered. Then the third. The fourth. One after another, each bride walked down the aisle wearing a unique wedding dress.

The guests watched in complete silence.

Charles adjusted his glasses. Beside him, Erik silently counted each bride as she walked past. When the ninth finally reached the platform, both men exchanged a glance.

Erik's eye twitched slightly. "Young people these days..."

"Not only is he marrying nine women," he muttered quietly, "but all nine of them actually agreed."

The priest looked at the nine brides standing before the ceremony platform.

During his long career he had officiated hundreds of weddings — couples from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Never once had he stood before one groom and nine brides. For a brief moment, even he needed to compose himself.

Taking a slow breath, he began in a calm and clear voice. "Ladies and gentlemen, family, and friends, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate a very special occasion. Marriage is a commitment built upon trust, respect, understanding, and the promise to walk through life's joys and hardships together."

He paused briefly before glancing toward the nine brides. "While every wedding is unique, today's ceremony is unlike any I have had the privilege of officiating. Regardless of its form, however, the meaning remains the same."

He looked toward the entrance of the aisle. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of these two hearts... or, perhaps more accurately in this case, ten hearts... as they begin a new chapter in their lives together."

A few guests couldn't help smiling at the adjustment.

"May this day be remembered not only for its uniqueness, but for the love, commitment, and trust shared between everyone standing before us today." He closed the ceremonial book and looked toward the entrance. "May the groom now make his entrance."

---

All eyes turned toward the aisle.

Luke slowly walked into the venue wearing a perfectly tailored black suit with subtle silver embroidery woven into the fabric — elegant rather than extravagant, complementing the formal atmosphere without drawing unnecessary attention.

His silver hair had been neatly styled, his blue eyes as calm as ever.

As he walked down the aisle at an unhurried pace, many of the guests couldn't help admiring how naturally he carried himself.

Tony folded his arms with a grin. "I'll give him this much. He actually cleans up pretty well."

Steve nodded. "He does."

Charles smiled faintly. "I suppose this is one occasion where even Luke decided to dress appropriately."

Luke continued until he reached the ceremony platform, glancing at the nine brides standing before him, each wearing a veil that concealed her face. A small smile appeared before he took his place opposite them.

The priest looked at the groom and the nine brides, then nodded with satisfaction. "Now that everyone is present, we may begin the marriage ceremony."
