Chapter 762 - Chapter 762

Only after confirming everything was correct did he pull a handful of change from his pocket, carefully count out exactly $37.5, and hand it over. He tucked the few coins he got back into his pocket with care, then packed the soy sauce and the two cartons of special-price eggs securely into his own reusable eco bag.

Pushing open the supermarket's glass door, gentle sunlight wrapped around him at once, making him feel drowsy. Saitama instinctively lifted his head to glance at the bright blue sky—the weather was absurdly nice.

Carrying the shopping bag, he strolled toward the familiar street corner at an unhurried pace, already thinking about what tasty thing he could make tonight with those discounted eggs.

But just as he was about to turn the corner, a deep, powerful engine roar shattered the quiet afternoon. A fierce gust of air pressed down from above, whipping his coat so it snapped loudly. Pedestrians on the street looked up in shock, bursting into startled cries.

A sleek, futuristic gray-black Quinjet was hovering just a few meters above the ground in a way that completely ignored common sense physics. Its hatch was already open, revealing a clean, precise cockpit interior.

In the pilot seat, wearing flashy sunglasses, Tony Stark himself—leaned halfway out. He jerked his chin at Saitama, his voice carrying that familiar teasing tone with a hint of urgency he didn't bother to hide.

"Hey, Caped Baldy! Your sense of time is just 'perfect.' Any slower and the Moon's gonna be completely buried by those damn rocks. At that point we can all start mining Moon ore up there."

Saitama's expression didn't change at all, like he'd long since gotten used to being picked up in the most ridiculous ways possible. He only said a flat, "Oh," then bent his knees slightly and gave a small push.

His body floated up several meters as light as a feather, landing precisely and steadily inside the cabin.

He carefully set the shopping bag onto an empty seat nearby, then even adjusted its position so the eggs wouldn't get bumped and crack. Only after that did he look at Tony.

"What's the rush? The target isn't going to sprout legs and run."

His tone was so calm it sounded like he was just taking out the trash downstairs.

Tony could only shake his head, exasperated, and pulled the controls down.

The Quinjet let out an even louder roar, accelerated in an instant, punched through the clouds, and shot straight toward the upper atmosphere.

Through the window, Saitama watched the city below shrink at an astonishing speed, turning into a grid, then disappearing beneath clouds and the blue curve of Earth. Only then did he seem to remember something.

He picked up the shopping bag from the seat, glanced around, found a storage compartment that looked sturdy enough, and stuffed it inside, making sure it wouldn't slide around during the flight.

After finishing, he rolled his wrist. A faint crack sounded from his joints. His gaze shifted to the endless starfield outside the window as he waited for their destination.

With its exceptional performance, the Quinjet glided soundlessly through space and arrived at the far side of the Moon.

The silence here was nothing like anywhere on Earth—an absolute, unnerving vacuum stillness.

The moment the hatch opened, it wasn't sound that rushed in, but a massive wave of energy distortion you could practically see with your eyes—warping the light as it surged forward, carrying a crushing pressure, as if even space itself were wailing.

Saitama was the first to jump down.

His specialized boots stepped into the Moon's fine dust and scattered gravel, leaving crisp footprints behind.

And what lay before him was a sight that would make anyone who'd ever witnessed cosmic wonders go completely speechless…
