As the sun rose over the Hunter's Association compound, hunters in training began to emerge from their rooms, heading to their classes. In room 170, Aster sat on his bed, his coat hanging in the wardrobe, and he wore a black top and jeans. "I'll wait for the uniform to be delivered before attending classes," he thought. "It's a requirement, after all."
There was a knock on the door, and a calm voice announced, "Room 170, kindly open your door to collect your uniform. Please make sure to arrive on time for your classes."
Aster got up and opened the door to find a tall, slender man with a well-trimmed haircut and a long beard, wearing a black uniform with a red tie representing the Hunter's Guild. The man's uniform was impeccable, featuring a bold red jacket with the Hunter's Guild logo, white trim, and golden buttons.
"Make sure to lock your door and keep your room key secure," the man said calmly.
"Alright," Aster replied, his tone flat.
Aster took the uniform and entered his room. A few minutes later, he emerged, looking very handsome and perfect in his new attire.
As Aster approached the Class C2 compound, he thought to himself, "Yesterday, I was told by the Professor I met that my class is Class C2. Let's see what this class has in store."
Aster stood in front of the door, took a deep breath, and opened it calmly. As he entered, the Professor, a woman with a height of 5'9" and long green hair tied back, greeted him with a bright smile.
"Ah, Aster! Welcome to Class C2! I'm Professor Abigail, your Professor for this class," she said enthusiastically.
The class turned to look at Aster, and most of the girls and boys couldn't help but notice his handsome face. Althea Beldon, a girl with honey-brown hair and soft hazel eyes, whispered to her friend, "Oh my gosh, is this the newcomer the Professor was talking about? He's so handsome."
The girl who was with Aster yesterday in the dungeon, sitting at the back seat near the window, saw him but didn't say a word. Aster noticed her presence, but his expression remained calm.
Professor Abigail rushed to Aster, her eyes shining with excitement. "Everyone, this is the newcomer I was talking about. He will be joining us starting from today. Treat him with love and kindness."
The class cheered, but Aster's expression didn't change. Professor Abigail turned to him and said, "Would you like to introduce yourself, Aster?"
"Sure," Aster replied, his tone flat.
Aster faced the class and said, "I'm Aster Theodoros. It's nice meeting you all."
The class clapped, and some students joked, "We want to know more about you! What do you like?"
Professor Abigail raised her hand, her voice loud and energetic. "Heyyyy, let's introduce ourselves too! I'm Professor Abigail, your one and only Professor."
The class cheered louder, and Professor Abigail said, "Now, it's time for you guys to introduce yourselves."
A girl with long blonde hair stood up, her deep hazel eyes sparkling. "I'm Bianca Moretti. Nice to meet you, Aster. Hope we become best of friends."
Aster replied, "Sure, I don't mind."
As the introductions continued, Aster listened attentively, his mind analyzing the class dynamics. He thought to himself, "I'll need to observe and adapt to this class's environment."
As the class continued, a handsome gentleman stood up, rubbing his hair to make it shine. He exuded confidence and pride, his deep brown hair and red eyes making him look incredibly handsome. His name was Xarath Arcturus, and he stood at an impressive height of 6'0".
"Aster, you are immensely fortunate," Xarath said, his voice dripping with pride. "I, Xarath Arcturus, have enshrined your name in my exalted heart. I condescend to befriend you, and shall dominate any threats to your existence, for I am the ultimate power here. I am Xarath... Xarath Arcturus, supreme and unmatched."
Bianca rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Here you go again, showing off how strong and cool you are," she said with a friendly tone.
Professor Abigail intervened, her enthusiasm infectious. "That's sweet of you to introduce yourselves. Now, the rest of you should also introduce yourselves."
Althea Beldon stood up, her eyes shyly avoiding Aster's gaze. "I'm Althea... Beldon. I want to get along with you and become good friends," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Aster replied calmly, "Same here, Althea."
Althea's face flushed, and she quickly sat down, her thoughts racing. "His voice is even cute and sounds handsome to me. He's handsome in every way."
Next, a young handsome gentleman stood up, his hair styled in intricate cornrows that swept across the back of his head. He introduced himself confidently, "I'm your brave warrior, Asare Owusu, "You need help, I gotchu, bruh. Adey your back, yeah."
The class applauded, and Asare smiled, his brown eyes shining with warmth.
The introductions continued, with each student sharing a bit about themselves. Aster listened attentively, his mind analyzing the class dynamics.
Finally, the girl Aster met yesterday in the dungeon stood up, her expression uninterested. "I'm Kaliyah Nexarion," she said curtly, sitting down without elaborating.
Despite her lack of enthusiasm, the class applauded politely.
As the introductions came to a close, Professor Abigail beamed with excitement. "Alright, class. That's all for today's introduction."
As the introductions came to a close, Aster nodded, his mind filing away the names and faces of his classmates. "I will remember your names," he said calmly. "Thanks for introducing yourselves."
Professor Abigail beamed with pride. "We believe in you, Aster. Now, it's time to choose your sitting place."
Professor Abigail scanned the class and pointed to a seat next to Kaliyah, the girl Aster met in the dungeon yesterday. Kaliyah was sitting at the back, in the middle of the class, and the desk beside her was empty.
The class watched as Aster made his way to the seat, some of them whispering among themselves. "Oh, I feel bad. He might be depressed by sitting beside her because Kaliyah is the type who doesn't like making friends," Althea thought.
"I wish he could sit somewhere else," some people thought.
"Don't worry, class," Professor Abigail reassured. "Kaliyah is a good girl, too. I'm sure Aster will fit right in."
Aster sat down at his desk, his expression calm and collected. Kaliyah didn't look at him, and that didn't bother him.
"I find his insistence on sitting beside me rather perplexing," Kaliyah thought. "Given we only made acquaintance yesterday, it's somewhat irritating, really. I suspect he might be labouring under the impression that we'll form a friendship, but quite frankly, I'm not seeking to expand my social circle at this juncture."
"I will observe this part of the story. I think I know where this is going. This was intentionally included. I will proceed as usual." Aster thought.
Professor Abigail clapped her fingers to disrupt the noise. "Hush, now... let's gently proceed with our lessons, shall we? We want Aster to feel comfortable and at ease. Let's carry on softly, nurturing a peaceful atmosphere, so everything may unfold harmoniously and conclude beautifully."
The class settled down, and the lesson continued. As the afternoon wore on, Professor Abigail rolled up the projector and said, "Classes are over! And it's time for us to have a sweet little friendly clash. Let's go have some delightful fun!"
The class erupted into excitement, and everyone got up and headed out of the classroom. Kaliyah stood up and walked out without a word.
As Aster stood up, Xarath approached him, his pride and confidence radiating from him. "Aster, I expect great things from you. Let's work together to dominate this class."
"I'll do what I can do best," Aster replied calmly.
Xarath smiled, unfazed by Aster's lack of enthusiasm. "I'll be watching you, Aster. Let's see what you're capable of."
The training area was an extremely large space, with ash-colored and hard ground. The space was so large that even a thousand people could fight in it. There was an invincible barrier around every training arena that blocked attacks too. When things were broken in a place such as the ground, it magically fixed back no matter how huge the damage was, because the gods made it like that.
At one training area, Xarath and Asare stood ready to fight, far separated from each other. "Fighting a big guy like you is an honor to me," Xarath proudly said. "But you are no match for me."
"You took the words out of my mouth, man," Asare confidently replied. "Let's get this started already."
Asare's ability is rooted in his incredible physical strength, which he can amplify with magic to make him almost unstoppable in combat. He can deliver blows that can shatter buildings with just one blow easily without trying.
Xarath, on the other hand, wields immense magical power, allowing him to cast spells that can achieve a wide range of effects. He can regenerate his own wounds, create objects out of thin air, manipulate anything, and bend the environment to his will. His magic is versatile and unpredictable, making him a powerful ally and a dangerous foe.
Asare stamped on the ground very hard, causing the entire ground to shatter into pieces. The training area began to shake, but Xarath didn't move. "Pathetic," Xarath declared with swelling pride. "You're supposed to be a C-rank, but your actions strip away that standing, revealing you to be feeble, far beneath the dignity of a C-rank."
Asare gave a confident smile and started punching, his punches so strong that the ground beneath them started shaking. Xarath blocked the punches using his magic to create a barrier. His magic was red, and he used his hands to hold onto the magic.
"I'll drop this warning on you," Asare said, his voice deep. "Never provoke a real warrior like myself to fury, 'cause if you do, you'll be totally wiped out, done for like dust."
"I like your way of thinking," Xarath said proudly. "But you are not considered to be a real warrior."
Asare wasn't unfazed by Xarath's words. "Haha! Man, what kinda joke is this?" he said, chuckling. "I gotta admit, it's straight fire."
Asare's voice then became deep, sending Xarath a warning. "If only you knew how much I am holding back."
"Oh," Xarath proudly said. "So we're both holding back. That's nice. Let's use our power to the fullest."
Asare's smile remained, and he kept punching. The training area shook, and the grounds repaired themselves only to break again when Asare punched.
"I will prove to you," Xarath said, "that you are nothing compared to me."
Xarath then used his other hand and gave a punch. Asare blocked it instantly, but the punch sent him flying backward. The training area returned to normal, and the grounds were fixed.
The people outside the training area were surprised, even Kaliyah was amazed. "They operate on a completely different level," Kaliyah thought. "If pitted against me, I'd say we're evenly matched, toe-to-toe in terms of power."
Aster watched expressionless and calm, analyzing the situation. "Their powers are impressive," he thought. "But I need to observe more to understand their true capabilities."
Back to where Asare and Xarath were having a battle.
Asare stretched both of his arms, a confident smile on his face. "Come on, use your power to the fullest," Xarath said proudly. "Let's put our lives on the line and enjoy it to the fullest."
"Hehe," Asare smirked. "No, can't do that. If I do, you will be the only one to die, and I mean it."
"Interesting," Xarath said, amazed. "You sound serious, don't you? But it doesn't matter, nothing can stop me, not even death."
"We've been here for som time now, Xarath, but I gotta say," Asare said with a grin, "I wish we'd linked up sooner. We could've been getting into this kinda thing every day."
"I love it," Xarath said. "Now fight me."
"I'm not changing my mind, Xarath. Try killing me if you want, but no be today. Nothing go make me change my mind?" Asare confidently said.
Xarath watched Asare's face and could see his determination.
Xarath then got disappointed. "What a letdown," Xarath said proudly, but with a hint of disgust. "I see no reason to fight you anymore if you won't use your power to the fullest."
Xarath smiled, confident in his abilities. "At least, I have proven my superiority," he added.
Asare stood up, his confident smile still on his face. "It's been fun, guy," he said. "But let's do it again sometime."
Without a response, Xarath turned and walked out as Asare followed behind. The two fighters walked out of the training area, their pride and confidence radiating from them.
Aster watched them, his expression still calm and collected. "Their confidence is admirable," he thought. "But it's clear that Xarath underestimates Asare's abilities."
As Asare and Xarath came out of the training area, Professor Abigail watched everything, looking surprised. "I wonder what the outcome might've been if the whole place hadn't managed to heal itself. They possess an extraordinary level of strength."
"Wow, fantastic job, you two! The energy was electrifying! Now, who's stepping up to the plate next? I'm pumped to see!" Professor Abigail said energetically.
Then, all of a sudden, someone teleported right beside Professor Abigail, making her bring a kick. But when she saw the person, she froze and placed her leg down. It was a familiar person to Professor Abigail and everyone in this class except Aster.
The person then got frightened and fell down in fear as he realized Professor Abigail was about to kick him. "Oh, Eryndor, it's just you. I guess I didn't expect you here to arrive at this time," Professor Abigail said with a warm smile.
Aster, feeling the magic, turned calmly and thought to himself, "Feels like it's an ability of his to teleport."
The boy's name was Eryndor Nurturon. "Hehe, I dunno, Professor... I think I came at a bad time. I just wanna have a fight, y'know? I didn't think about nothin' else, just wanna battle," Eryndor said to Professor Abigail, while rubbing his hair unknowingly.
Professor Abigail then had an idea and turned to Aster. "Aster, meet Eryndor – the guy from Class C3. And he's pumped to train with us! Unfortunately, his classmates wouldn't let him train with them, but Eryndor's all about leveling up and getting stronger because he totally believes it'll make him a force to be reckoned with! He is kind and gentle. He's all about growth, and we're stoked to have him on board!"
"Let me take a guess. You just want me to have a battle with him," Aster said, going straight to the point.
Professor Abigail clapped and nodded. "You're totally catching on super quick!"
It was obvious to Aster, and Eryndor said with a smile kindly, "I might not be super good at this stuff, but I wanna see what I can do, y'know? So like, take this serious, don't think I'm like totally weak or nothin'. I wanna try hard and see what happens."
Xarath then chimed in, giving a laugh. "Finally, I get to see how absolutely dominant and unparalleled your capabilities are. Live up to my utmost expectations and absolutely crush it – don't dare let me down."
Kaliyah, who stood there quietly, thought, "I wanted to observe his capabilities, given the ease with which he dispatched the monster yesterday. At least, I shall thereby gain some insight into his vulnerabilities and areas of proficiency."
"Come on, you guys should go and do your best," Professor Abigail said.
Then Aster and Eryndor started walking into the training area. As they were going, Bianca Moretti ran toward them and said, "Aster, Eryndor, I want you both to give it your all! You guys have your own motivations, and I'm totally cheering for BOTH of you! I'm rooting for you, let's see you bring your A-game and do something awesome!"
Eryndor said with a smile and blushing, "Thanks so much."
"I appreciate it," Aster said calmly.
Althea was among the rest of the students, standing shyly as she thought, "I wish I could be bold as Bianca."
With that, Aster and Eryndor entered the training area, ready to have a spar. Eryndor went far away from Aster, ready to fight, while Aster stood at a suitable place.
Professor Abigail yelled enthusiastically, "Now, let's go! Let's witness another mind-blowing, pulse-pounding, utterly epic battle! Bring it on, let the crazy match begin!"
"Since he's new here and doesn't know my abilities yet, then I have a chance. I can't lose this one," Eryndor thought, his expression serious. "I will win."
Aster's expressionless face didn't change.
"He probably thinks he can win because I'm new here. But I know he can teleport, and I already know what he's gonna do next. Wonder if he's got more tricks up his sleeve." Aster thought.
Eryndor stood there, then smiled. Then he opened his palm, and a sword appeared. The sword was a normal white sword. "Let's fight," Eryndor said with determination.
Eryndor held his sword tightly and thought, "I got a plan." Without a second thought, Eryndor ran toward Aster, according to his plan. He ran faster; Aster's eyes were fixed on him, and then all of a sudden, Eryndor vanished.
At the same time Eryndor vanished, he reappeared behind Aster, his sword ready to poke the side of Aster's neck. But at the same time, Aster just tilted his neck without looking back and dodged Eryndor's attack. Aster then grabbed Eryndor's hand at the side of his neck without looking back and threw Eryndor in front of him and far away to the ground. Eryndor's sword fell down as he rolled.
Kaliyah was taken back by this, as shown by her expression, but remained calm. Professor Abigail was also surprised. "Wow, that was quick."
Althea standing there also thought, "It's like Aster anticipated every move of Eryndor's and used it against his own advantage." Bianca also thought the same as Althea.
"Aster, I knew you had that fire, that absolute swagger – I saw my own kind of raw intensity mirrored in you. Don't dare disappoint me, keep pushing forward, keep unleashing that unstoppable drive!" Xarath said with a prideful tone.
Aster paid no attention to them but was waiting. Eryndor then started to get up, taking his sword. "I thought I had the chance, but he quickly finished me off. Now I feel ashamed of myself. But it's not like me to give up; I'll still keep moving with my very life," Eryndor thought.
"I won't lose next time," Eryndor said to himself, gripping his sword tightly.
Aster remained expressionless, analyzing the situation.
Aster moved his leg, and then instantly he was in front of Eryndor and gave a punch to Eryndor's stomach. The punch was so strong that Aster's hand came out of Eryndor's stomach, as if it was coming out. But to Aster, it was a light punch and absolutely nothing to him.
Eryndor screamed in unbearable pain as he coughed out blood. Eryndor then fell down; his pain was unbearable as blood poured from his mouth. Everyone was surprised by Aster's strength.
"He's definitely not taking it easy on him," Kaliyah thought.
"Hahaha, dat one my guy oh! You dey worthy opponent, Aster. You strong like me!" Asare said confidently.
"Get up. I haven't done anything yet. You told me not to take it easy on you. I haven't even applied significant force, and you're already bleeding. You are not a suitable opponent. I should have held back," Aster said.
Aster then turned, walking calmly and steadily. Eryndor felt regret; he closed his fist in anger, Aster's words ringing in his head. "Is dis how my life s'posed to be like, though? I try hard as hell every damn day, but at the end of the day, I still come up losin'," Eryndor thought. Aster's words had brought guilt in him.
Professor Abigail thought, "I had hoped to gently steer things away from a darker path, to softly calm the waters, but it seems the course has already reached its end, with a quiet finality."
"Wait!" Eryndor yelled to Aster. "Ain't no way I'm going to lose like this."
Aster stopped and didn't turn but said, "Really? Are you sure you're not saying that to waste my time?"
"Just quit underestimating me. I ain't weak, you know," Eryndor said.
Aster then turned, looked at him, and said, "Prove it."
Eryndor tried to get up, and he stood up; he then fell back down due to the pain he couldn't bear. Eryndor then looked at Aster's expressionless face as he stared into his eyes and could feel his disappointment in him. He turned to everyone outside the training area watching him. Some people like Althea and Professor Abigail were sad, feeling sorry for Eryndor, and some people didn't care—like Xarath didn't care.
Eryndor watched their faces. "Y'all got eyes on me like I'm always the one gettin' played. I feel like I'm stuck bein' the loser; ain't nobody thinkin' I can win," Eryndor thought as he started losing hope in himself.
Then he looked at his sword lying there; he could sense a blue-dark aura calling him. Eryndor's eyes widened, and his determination came back. "Nobody ain't got no right tellin' me who I am. I know myself; I be me; ain't nobody definIN' me," Eryndor said to himself.
Eryndor then used his fist and punched the ground as blood started pouring from his hands. Eryndor then started to get up as everyone started cheering for him.
"Don't give up, man," Asare yelled to Eryndor. "Keep moving. I root for you too, my guy."
Eryndor became determined and grabbed his sword. As he touched the sword, his sword became light blue. Then a blue aura started covering him, coming from the sword. Eryndor's eyes turned blue and became normal as the power entered his body.
"I will win!" Eryndor yelled. Then everyone's cheers became louder as they yelled for both Aster and Eryndor. Aster's expressionless face remained. He was calm as ever.
"Aster won't go easy on him," Professor Abigail thought. "But Eryndor's got a chance now with that power."
Eryndor threw his sword, and instantly it reached Aster, but it was slow to him. Aster had just jumped from the place, knowing what was going to happen, as he could sense the power coming from the sword. Then the sword turned by itself and pointed at Aster; a red blast was coming from the sword.
Aster didn't move and remained calm as usual. The red blast shot, making a straight line from the blast. Because of the blast, it made a big hole on the ground, affecting the entire arena. Then the ground was burnt, as it looked rotten. Aster was behind the sword now, with his speed, and was unaffected by the destruction from the sword.
Everyone watching the fight was astonished. Except both Xarath and Asare admired it; Asare was cheering loudly for both Aster and Eryndor. "Incredible!" Asare shouted. "The power of that sword is massive!"
At the training area, Aster hit the sword, knowing it was the source and problem of all this. The sword then quickly hit the ground, making the shape of the sword on the ground due to the little force Aster hit it with. The sword still didn't break or have any crack even though it was hit by Aster.
Then all of a sudden, Eryndor instantly ran toward Aster, his fist closed and up to his chest, ready to punch as he ran, and reached there in less than a millisecond. In the end, Aster blocked Eryndor's punch with his palm open.
Eryndor then appeared at every side of Aster – up, down, left, right. But Aster blocked all of it with his palm effortlessly. This kept on as it kept going, but Aster blocked it. "How's he doing this?" Eryndor thought. "I will feel like a fool if I keep doing this."
Eryndor was in shock, and it wasn't only him; Aster's classmates also watched in shock. There was total silence. "Everyone is speechless including me," Kaliyah thought. "And that's because we haven't seen Eryndor using this kind of power and how Aster is blocking it and predicting every move he makes effortlessly."
But as this was going on, Eryndor was getting exhausted. "I can't keep this up anymore. The power I'm borrowing is starting to drain, and I can feel it coming out of me," Eryndor thought.
"Eryndor's speed is now slowing down every millisecond from what I'm seeing. It seems he's getting drained while at the same time nothing is happening to Aster. I knew I saw potential in Aster from the very beginning I saw him. Impressive," Xarath thought, holding his chin.
The tension in the air was palpable as Aster and Eryndor continued their intense battle, with Aster effortlessly blocking every move Eryndor made.
As this kept going, Eryndor became even more tired and realized he's still no match for Aster. "It's no use," Eryndor thought. "I gotta end this quickly."
Eryndor then stretched his arms while fighting, and the sword got up and quickly came pointing at Aster. Aster knew it was coming but didn't turn to make it obvious; rather, he kept fighting.
Then Eryndor teleported to the other side of Aster and rushed toward Aster with the speed he borrowed, which was less than a nanosecond. But to Aster, it was slow to him, as if time wasn't moving quickly. In Aster's view, Eryndor was so slow, and the sword was also slow—both Eryndor and the sword coming from the opposite side of Aster, ready to hit him. And to Aster's view, everywhere was so slow that time was slowing down.
"This is my perception of them; the audience reading may ponder how I manage to evade their attacks. It is a fact that, despite utilizing a quantity less than Graham's number, which is regarded as extraordinarily large, their purported extreme speed is insufficient for me. I am not undertaking this for the purpose of display but for a specific rationale; I attempt to preclude certain outcomes in the future," Aster thought. Eryndor and the sword were coming to him slowly.
Aster watched them and walked in front of them. Aster then walked in front of them and turned, watching what was happening in normal time. Then Eryndor's fist landed on the tip of the sword. But nothing happened to the sword and nothing happened to Eryndor's fist. But the force they both used shook the training area ground, which affected the floors, and everything—the ground broke into pieces. Then the sword fell down.
Aster then gave a little punch to Eryndor's stomach, and he went far back and landed on the floor. The ground repaired itself since it was designed to be like that.
Eryndor then got up in pain, trying to collect the sword back. The sword started to slowly get up. "I have watched enough of his capabilities. I will end it now," Aster thought.
Then suddenly, Aster was behind Eryndor and used his palm to hit both of his shoulders with little force—enough to cut a brave warrior's strong arms. The force of Aster's hit made Eryndor's shoulders weaken, and he couldn't feel his hands. Then Aster used his palm to hit his neck, which made him fall to the ground, and he fainted.
"I won't say he's a worthy opponent, but it has given me insights about him," Aster thought.
Aster then placed his hands in his pocket and went, going out of the training area. Aster then saw Kaliyah in the training area.
"Let's have a one-on-one battle," Kaliyah said.
"Not interested," Aster said calmly.
"This wasn't a request, but a command I just gave you," Kaliyah said, her tone serious.
"What makes you think you have all right to challenge me, and why do you suddenly want to battle me? I still look weak to you, don't I?" Aster asked
"That's right. But at least it will put me to the test. This is to make my abilities grow stronger." Kaliyah said, her tone serious and determined.
"So she wants me to just battle her for her own gains." Aster thought.
Xarath then walked into the training area with a bold, prideful laugh. "Hahaha. How could you ever forget me?"
Kaliyah then turned to Xarath with a serious expression. "What do you want now?" she said, her tone serious.
"To have a battle with you guys, of course," Xarath said.
"Aren't you tired with the battle you had with Asare?" Aster said calmly to Xarath. "I myself, I'm exhausted from having a battle with Eryndor."
"You don't seem to be the type to get tired. Quit lying," Kaliyah said with a serious tone.
"Don't act like you know me yet," Aster replied back.
"The battle I had with Asare is a complete trash! I just want to have a proper battle where my life is at stake!" Xarath yelled proudly so that Asare and everyone else could hear.
"Shut up," Asare confidently said. "Did you actually think you could survive my full power? Hahaha, don't be silly and don't make me laugh."
Xarath didn't have time to reply and whispered, "Pathetic. You should probably be dead for not using your abilities to the fullest and not trying to push your limits."
"Fine, I don't mind. That is if my abilities are pushed to the test," Kaliyah finally said.
"So we both agree, huh. Now the only one remaining is Aster," Xarath said.
Kaliyah and Xarath stared at Aster. Aster stared back, his face expressionless.
"Alright. If you insist. But don't expect much from me," Aster finally said.
"I won't." Kaliyah rudely said.
"With great pride, now that everything is decided and we're all in agreement, I will take Eryndor with me from here, so we can move forward," Xarath said, his smile always remained on his face.
Xarath then started using his magic; a red aura appeared on his palm, and then he stretched his hand toward Eryndor, even though he was far away. Then a red aura covered Eryndor. Eryndor's wounds started to heal due to Xarath's magic, and Eryndor became fresh as new. Xarath then used his magic as the red aura covered him, and he lifted him up with his sword, which became normal.
Xarath was sending them out, and Professor Abigail knew that, so she ran to the entrance as quickly as possible. Professor Abigail stood at the entrance, as she caught Eryndor easily. "It seems he's just unconscious for now because of the hit Aster landed at his neck," Xarath said. "He will wake up anytime soon."
"That saves me the trouble," Professor Abigail said. "Thanks a lot, Xarath."
"No need," Xarath said, his smile growing wider. "I stand triumphant, for this battle is a manifestation of my deepest aspirations, my ardent desires finding realization in this confrontation, crystallizing the fulfillment of my most cherished wants."
Professor Abigail spoke softly, "Alright, but we cannot linger here for an extended period." Her voice was warm and soothing as she added, "So, once your confrontation with Kaliyah and Aster concludes, we will proceed directly and resume our classes."
"I'm fine with that," Xarath proudly said with a smile on his face. "As long as this battle isn't interrupted by anyone, then I have nothing else to say."
"Alright. Good luck to you all," Professor Abigail said, carrying Eryndor on her back as she was holding his sword and left.
Xarath closed his fist with excitement. "Let's begin. Use your full power, and you will witness mine," he pridefully said. "With unbridled supremacy, I decree: Let us commence. Unleash your utmost potency, and you shall behold the unfettered magnitude of my own prowess, a testament to my unrivaled dominance."
Kaliyah then quickly said, "Emerge." Then six of her dark shadow soldiers came out from her shadow and stood in front of her. The shadow soldiers looked like black humans colored dark; others looked like big, tall monsters; their eyes were completely blue and some were purple as they all had large weapons.
Basically, Kaliyah's powers are a force to be reckoned with, as she has the ability to manipulate death in various forms. She can summon shadowy soldiers to do her bidding, craft objects imbued with the essence of mortality, and unleash attacks that are essentially death itself made manifest. Her strikes and punches can be fatal, making her a formidable opponent in battle.
The stage was set for the match to begin, with all participants ready and focused, Kaliyah especially looking sharp and prepared.
