Chapter 195 - Chapter 195: Wing Gundam Zero 1

Chapter 195: Wing Gundam Zero 1

After completely losing faith in the colony satellites, Quatre decided to destroy everything in the universe using the Wing Gundam Zero.

After blasting apart yet another colony satellite with his twin buster rifle, he headed toward the next one, setting it as his next target.

Watching the fragmented image of the destroyed colony satellite on the monitor, Lady Une's face twisted with fury.

"How vile! Who could do something so cruel—obliterating entire colony satellites like that?

They didn't even spare the innocent civilians. This is worse than anything our OZ Mobile Doll units have ever done!"

Tolle also stared at the screen, the image stirring memories of the shattered ruins of Heliopolis. His heart grew heavy with sorrow.

"Yeah… whoever it is, that person's completely lost it. A madman—destroying colony after colony like this."

He walked up beside Lady Une and whispered quietly, "Looks like Darks has to head out. Judging from this, OZ's mobile suits won't be able to beat that mysterious machine."

Lady Une looked at him softly and nodded in agreement.

"Mm. Go. Once you show up, I'll make sure OZ soldiers are told not to treat you as a target.

But be careful—I'm still counting on you after all this is over."

After saluting her, Tolle activated the Mirage Colloid system on his nano armor and quietly slipped out of the Barge Fortress.

He boarded his own machine, the Savior Vanguard Gundam, and set off to intercept Quatre and his Wing Gundam Zero.

Before another colony satellite, OZ's mobile suits finally intercepted the Wing Gundam Zero.

But Quatre spotted the OZ unmanned mobile suits—Taurus units and space-type Leos. He immediately switched Wing Zero into its Mobile Armor mode, charging into the barrage of rifle fire and missiles.

In the middle of the enemy formation, Wing Zero abruptly decelerated and transformed back into Mobile Suit form.

It split its twin buster rifle in two—one in each hand.

Under Quatre's control, Wing Zero raised both rifles horizontally, aligning them with its shoulders.

Twin continuous energy beams erupted in opposite directions.

Then, Wing Zero began to spin.

The twin beams whirled with it, sweeping through space in wide arcs. After several full 360-degree rotations, every OZ mobile suit caught in the beams was completely annihilated—nothing left but debris.

From a distance, Heero and Trowa exchanged a glance. Without a word, they both climbed into their mobile suits—Mercurius and Vayeate—and charged toward Quatre.

The three former comrades—Heero, Trowa, and Quatre—clashed atop the colony satellite in a meaningless battle.

Upon seeing the Mercurius and Vayeate approaching, Quatre didn't hesitate.

He immediately opened fire, each half of the buster rifle targeting one of them.

Heero and Trowa dodged the first blast, but Quatre continued sweeping his weapons in a wide arc, forcing them to keep evading.

After that assault, Quatre combined the two rifles back into one.

Trowa, desperate to reach him, rushed in recklessly, hoping to talk him down.

But with the ZERO System already active, Wing Zero automatically guided Quatre's hands, firing the twin buster rifle at the Vayeate.

Trowa's Vayeate couldn't dodge in time. The beam struck its left side—its left arm and leg instantly vaporized, and half the cockpit was torn open and exposed.

Heero immediately moved to cover Trowa, firing his beam gun repeatedly to draw Quatre's attention.

Quatre responded by using Wing Zero's shoulder-mounted vulcan cannons to suppress Heero's advance, then raised the twin buster rifle again. Heero had no choice but to evade and pull back to a safe distance.

Once he'd avoided the blast, Heero pushed Mercurius forward, drawing the beam saber from his planet defenser shield, and charged straight at Quatre.

Quatre, in turn, shifted the twin buster rifle to his left hand and pulled a beam saber from his left shoulder. The two Gundams clashed in close combat.

Their beam sabers collided again and again, the force fields along the blades crackling violently as plasma arcs exploded between them.

But after only a few exchanges, the Wing Gundam Zero—its output power overwhelming—sent Mercurius flying backward with a single heavy strike.

Quatre immediately leveled the twin buster rifle and opened fire at the airborne Mercurius.

Heero released all ten of Mercurius's planet defensers, arranging them in front of him to block the shot.

They managed to hold off one blast—but only barely. The defensers quickly overloaded and were destroyed.

Because of the vast difference in performance between their machines, Heero and Trowa were at a clear disadvantage throughout the fight.

Yet, for the sake of the colony satellite's safety, neither of them retreated—they fought on stubbornly.

Trowa, piloting the damaged Vayeate, moved back in close to Quatre, trying to reason with him even as he attempted to disrupt his attacks.

Facing Wing Zero at a distance, Heero feared Quatre would unleash another twin buster rifle blast.

He maxed out Mercurius's thrusters and charged straight at Wing Zero, firing his beam gun repeatedly along the way.

Quatre didn't even attempt to dodge—he simply raised the twin buster rifle and fired directly at Heero.

Seeing this, Trowa forced his battered Vayeate forward and fired his beam cannon at the same time, intercepting Quatre's shot to give Heero precious time to evade.

Where the two beams met, a spherical energy shockwave quickly formed.

But before long, the Vayeate's beam was overwhelmed—the counter-beam surged back and struck it dead-on.

With his crippled suit, Trowa couldn't dodge in time.

At that moment, Tolle, piloting his MA Savior Vanguard Gundam, arrived on the battlefield.

He rushed in and shoved Trowa's Vayeate aside, narrowly avoiding the fatal beam.

Though he understood why Quatre was acting this way, Tolle still needed to confront him—and remind him of who he was.

He opened his communicator and shouted,

"Quatre! Why are you doing something this cruel? What happened to the kind and gentle Quatre we all knew?"
