Su Mingxuan's face lit up with joy. "Of course! I'm more than happy to look after my grandsons," he replied warmly.
"You go ahead and do your work, Lanlan. I will take good care of them."
Su Qinglan patted the cubs' heads gently. "Be good with grandpa, okay? Listen to him." The cubs nodded their little heads and waved their tiny paws. "Grandpa, play with us!" Xiao Yi said in his soft voice. Su Qinglan laughed and left them with her father.
She then walked toward the new stone house that the tribe had been building.
When she arrived, she could not believe her eyes. The walls were so sturdy and straight. They looked fine and strong. Everyone in the fox tribe stood around the house with wide, excited smiles.
"Wow, look at these walls!" one fox beastman said loudly. "They are so straight and solid. I can't believe we made this ourselves!"
Another laughed happily. "Yes! It feels like a real house, not a cave. We did it!"
