The night inside the cave was extremely cold and silent.
Only the weak fire burning at the corner flickered softly against the stone walls while Su Qinglan sat near the wall with a tense expression. Her hands were unconsciously protecting her swollen stomach while her mind was filled with anxiety and restlessness.
Then suddenly…Heavy footsteps entered the cave once again.
Su Qinglan instantly raised her head.
Rong Yanchen walked inside slowly with his dark cloak in his hand. His expression was calm, but his eyes were extremely deep and dangerous.
"It is time," he said lowly. "We should leave now."
As he spoke, he directly walked toward her and tried to wrap the dark cloak around her body once again so nobody outside would recognize her.
But Su Qinglan immediately stepped back.
"I'm not leaving."
Her voice was cold and firm.
A dangerous glint instantly flashed through Rong Yanchen's eyes.
