The hawk beastman finally let out a quiet, relieved breath after observing her closely and making sure she wasn't actually hurt. "I'm glad. I thought you were injured from the impact."
Lan Yue secretly looked up at him through her lashes. He was so tall that she literally had to tilt her head all the way back just to meet his gaze.
For some strange reason, standing right beside his massive frame made her feel even smaller and more delicate than usual.
