Chapter 2 - Prologue, Part 2: About the Gods Emerald.

Its been a year since Hanten Shita Anara's creation.

The four creator gods have been watching him.

They trained him how to behave.

They gave him a moral code.

They taught him everything they knew, except for language.

Language is not a concept ready to exist just yet.

Instead, they taught him how to communicate using noises and frequencies.

It worked just fine.

However, Hanten felt as if he was their underling.

A mere toy for them to play with until they got tired of him.

So, the creator gods came together at the divine heaven in a secret cave deep under the ground, where they will never be found.

"What do we do about this?" Awa asked the other 3.

"I'm... Not sure actually. There's nothing i can think of right now." Fulmine replied, waiting for a second before turning her head to the 2 "brothers".

"Do you two have any ideas?" She asked them.

"Nope..." Asnulfu replied with a sigh, and he glanced over at Itran, hoping he knew what to do.

"Why don't we create something for him? A token of proof that he has free will to do anything he wants or needs?" Itran asked the others, hoping they'd agree with him.

The other 3 creator gods thought to themselves for a moment before declining that idea, but not refusing it.

"Why not make it a token of proof that every living being has free will instead of just him?" Awa asked Itran.

"Yeah, and also, i want to make it a wish granting device only usable by those with a bright soul. If they need support, or they have desires they want fulfilled the token will grant it to them." Fulmine said, adding a layer on top of what Awa asked Itran.

"..." Itran stayed silent for a moment, thinking to himself about it before he eventually decided.

"You know what? Lets do it." He said before turning to Asnulfu.

"Can i leave that task to you, Asnulfu?"

"Leave it to me." Asnulfu replied with a nod before he left.

After that, a few more hours passed before Asnulfu returned with a green emerald.

"Itran, give this a glow of pure starlight, please. I gave it the wish granting power, but it just looks boring like this." He said before giving Itran the green emerald.

"Alright, easy." He said before he clapped his arms together, which caused the emerald to emit a bright, green, ethereal light.

A bit later, the 4 of them took the emerald to Hanten Shita Anara.

They gave him the emerald, and they explained what it stands for and what it does.

Hanten Shita Anara was surprised.

He didn't expect them to actually care about him, after all, he only thought of himself as their toy.

Hanten Shita Anara created a throne, and he put it on a cloud, and in that throne there's a small opening.

In that opening, he took the emerald and he let it float there.

To this day, the emerald is still there, still floating.

He hesitated for a second before nodding in approval.

He liked it there.

Right there, where it would sit forever.

Until the end of existence itself, indestructable, unmoveable.

A promise of free will.
