The beam shattered and exploded. Ethan forced Rayon's body straight through it. The energy dispersed wildly, exploding in all directions, but not a single strand of it reached Ethan as he casted a magical barrier around that deflected the attack.
He stood at the center of the chaos, unmoved, his grip still locked around Rayon as if nothing had happened.
