"Old Madam—"
"Ten tables," Old Madam Han stated directly. "This is neither low nor high; your family could easily afford ten tables. This is a matter of reputation for both families, and I believe that you will be able to understand such a simple thing, right?"
Old Madam Han's words choked Mother Yang. She pursed her lips, and even though she wanted to say something, Mother Yang knew that even if she were to refuse, this sly old woman would have more than one way to deal with her. She suppressed her anger and forced a smile. "Alright, if that is what you want."
Han Ziyan pursed her lips in hatred. She stared at Old Madam Han, who had decided everything and clenched her fists in anger. This woman was truly too much. She was the one who was supposed to marry Yang Jianming, and yet Old Madam Han was the one who was deciding everything. She wanted to stop these things from happening, but what could she do when she was strapped to the hospital bed?
