Hazel's POV
"We have to go," I said.
Colton nodded, and we ran. We ran for what felt like days, until finally we came to a small village.
Colton suggested we go to a hotel but that place was not safe either and we would be risking our lives. I was sure Skyler must've told Liam that we were hiding in a hotel before and they would search everywhere. The pack would find us eventually. We had to keep running.
I suggested we head for the coast, to the nearest port town. There, we could find a ship that would take us away from this place, that would take us to safety.
Colton agreed, and we set off once again.
The journey was long and tiring, but finally we only three miles away when I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw something on the ground. "What's this?" I whispered and his gaze followed by line of sight.
"I think they were close last night," he replied while checking the distance from our hiding spot to the place the footprints were.
