"Do you expect us to believe that the king would imprison innocent families? I find that hard to believe." One of the Alphas chuckled, before gently sitting back on his chair. He sounded so amused as if the story itself was funny. I didn't find any of it funny because the other Alphas seemed to be falling by his side. Another Alpha nodded in agreement. He also looked so skeptical as I stood up to speak.
