A bang echoed, then a sudden barge in the room that made Kasper jerk from his sleep. He slowly opened his eyes to see a live aftermath of a battle before him. Sylara (the tulip child) and Pookie dove around like a living flying disaster. His room was a big mess with torn curtains, broken glasses and burned up woods.
Kasper: (rubbed his eyes to be sure about what he was seeing) POOKIEEE! (Yelled out.)
He crawled out of his bed with a doomed face while Khaos also entered the room with Calylixa behind. Pookie flew towards Kasper with Sylara seated on her back. Kasper reached out and yanked Sylara off Pookie.
Khaos: Kasper?
Kasper: Thank goodness you are here. You can handle children right?
Khaos: Erhmm (stuttered)
Kasper: (cuts in) Thank you. Calylixa I need this room cleaned up and the estimated price for damages.
Calylixa: Yes Sir Kasper.
Kasper: (wobbled out of the room) What a bad day to wake up. I don't know which is bad. Getting up so early for school or opening your eyes to see a battle aftermath in your room. (Strolled to the dining)
Sylara: Hehe (giggled as Calylixa walked into the dining while carrying her with Khaos walking behind)
Kasper: (looked up) You care for breakfast Khaos?
Khaos: Nope. I'm cool. I'm yet to go on my morning patrol with big brother and the rest.
Kasper: Oh.
Khaos: I headed here when I overheard sir Howzer mentioning you having a child.
Kasper: You thought I had a child somewhere?
Khaos: Well... I never doubted you. You've got the looks and the power plus, you been engaged with me was just an accident.
Kasper: (speechless then burst out laughing) Seriously?... It's fine if you doubt me. But really, I don't have a child and I don't have a wife. You're the only one I'm engaged to, okay? (Assured)
Khaos: (nods)
Calylixa: Sir Kasper (slipped a paper next to his hand)
Kasper: What's this? (Picked up the paper and opened it).
His face turned pale after going through the paper.
Kasper: t...t...two gold coins? I barely have 300 silver. (Yelled)
Khaos: two gold coins? (Thought then spoke it) It's fine Kasper. I'll tell big brother to handle the bills for you. (Nods to Calylixa)
Calylixa: (nods back at Khaos)
Kasper: Ehn? Wait!
Khaos: It's alright Kasper. I can always be of help to you anytime okay?
Kasper: Alright. Maybe this once. (Glanced at Calylixa who was now feeding Sylara with some baby formula that system had given him the previous night).
Khaos: Do you have any plans today?
Kasper: Hmmm. Let's see. Well yeah I do have some plans. Work at home and probably scout the town abit for somethings. What about you?
Khaos: Yeah. I'll be going to the mountains to train with big brother. Big brother said I'm lacking some self control. (Looked down at her fingers embarrassed). It's no surprise that my name matches my character. (Let out a quiet laugh)
Kasper: You've been through a lot Khaos. I get your pain, but this isn't the end. I know you're strong enough to overcome losing your control during a battle. I believe in you. (Smiles)
Khaos: (smiles back)
Athena: Alert!
Kasper: (froze then his nose began to bleed)
Athena: MISSION: STRENGTHEN THE KINGDOM'S FORCE. Alert! System detecting a heavy wave of mana flow.
A maid suddenly ran in with one of the Bael's platoon member.
Soldier: Good day Sir Kasper. Khaos, Sir Plagg calls for you and it's urgent. (Worried)
Kasper: What's wrong?
Soldier: There a large group of demonic creatures with strong aura heading towards the kingdom at a fast pace. Sir Plagg and the rest at the battle front trying to stop them from invading but it's too much to handle. We've also sent for back up from the royal council.
Kasper: I see.
Khaos: (got up to leave)
Kasper: Khaos! (Called out from behind)
Khaos: (turned around to look at him)
Kasper: Be careful.
Khaos: (nods) don't worry I've got this. I promise to come back alive. (Smiled then dashed out with the soldier)
Luna: (suddenly walked in with the same maid that had just brought the soldier)
Kasper: Luna? (Surprised)
Luna: Sir Kasper. (Handed him a scroll)
Kasper: (reached out to collect it) From Bael?
