"DXD: Infinite Loot System"Chapter 332: Jeanne's Surrender (Part 1)Deep in Hell — The Underworld

The air was thick with rot, every breath heavy with the stench of decay. Wisps of lost souls floated beneath a sky that never quite brightened, while pale bones sprawled across the ground in chaotic heaps.

A magic circle flared, and five figures stepped out of the teleportation array: Cao Cao, Siegfried, Georg, and—despite having lost their Sacred Gears to Tenra—Leonardo and Heracles.

"So this is the Underworld? Charming," Georg muttered, adjusting his glasses as he took in the gloom.

Cao Cao hefted his golden spear, a smile tugging at his lips. "What did you expect? Death gods aren't known for their hospitality."

Siegfried frowned. "We made it here, but how do we find our mark?"

The Underworld stretched endlessly in every direction. Wandering around blind would be a fool's errand.

"No need to worry," Cao Cao replied, pointing ahead. "Looks like our hosts are coming to us."

Sure enough, several figures emerged from the ground, scythes gleaming in their hands. Black robes shrouded their bodies, leaving only hollow sockets where eyes should be—each burning with a cold, blue flame.

Grim Reapers.

"Humans, you do not belong here," one intoned, voice like gravel dragged across stone.

Cao Cao stepped forward, cheerful as ever. "Sorry for dropping in, gentlemen. We'd like a word with your boss—Lord Hades. Mind passing along the message?"

"Leave now, or—"

"Die!" another hissed, the word thick with threat as they closed ranks, deathly aura swirling.

Cao Cao let out a theatrical sigh. "A battle with legends would be fun, but we're here for business, not bloodshed."

He lifted his spear, its golden light flaring. "Cao Cao, leader of the Hero Faction. This, as you know, is the True Longinus. I'd appreciate a meeting with Lord Hades."

Silence pressed in, tension sharpening every breath. At last, one Reaper's soul-flames flickered. "Wait here."

He sank into the ground and vanished.

Cao Cao chuckled, lowering his weapon. Fame really did grease the wheels.

They'd done their homework on Hades. If their intel was right, the god of the dead would be interested in their proposal.

Human World — Kamiyo Residence, Sancta Diabolus Hall

"Stop! Raynare, that's enough!"

"Ahh! Ahh!"

"Hahahaha!"

From behind the closed door of the training room, Cesia and the other Fallen Angels' screams mingled with Raynare's wild laughter. Tenra didn't need to look to know what was happening: pure, unfiltered brutality.

He'd handed those Fallen Angels over to Raynare with only one instruction—don't break them. The details? He left those to her. Instead, Tenra headed for the room where Irina and the girls were gathered.

He'd told Irina's group to "train" Jeanne d'Arc. Now, curiosity—or maybe just a hunch—brought him to check their progress.

He pushed open the door.

And stopped.

"Lady Jeanne, how does this feel?"

"Lady Jeanne, please try this one!"

"Mmm, you're all wonderful, my sweet juniors."

Jeanne d'Arc lounged on the sofa, looking for all the world like a pampered queen. Girls massaged her shoulders and legs; another fed her slices of fruit, one by one.

Tenra blinked. This was not what he'd ordered. He wanted Jeanne broken in, not waited on hand and foot.

"T-Tenra-sama!" Irina squeaked, paling as she and the other fifteen girls scrambled to their feet.

"Red Dragon Emperor, uh, you're here…" Jeanne froze, then awkwardly pushed herself upright.

"If I hadn't come, this place would be yours," Tenra muttered, face darkening. He dropped onto the sofa, grabbed Jeanne before she could bolt, and pinned her across his lap.

"Irina. Explain. Now."

Irina bowed deeply, lips pressed tight. "I'm sorry, Tenra-sama. We failed you."

"It's not Irina's fault!" one girl blurted. "We all—"

Jeanne struggled up, glaring. "Hey, Red Dragon Emperor! Blame me, not Irina and the others!"

Tenra raised an eyebrow. "Look at you—already sticking up for them? Getting cozy, huh?"

He smirked. "Don't worry, I'll deal with them first. Your turn's coming."

His hand landed with a sharp smack on Jeanne's rear.

She yelped, cheeks flaming, but trapped as she was, resistance was pointless.

Tenra turned back to Irina. "No excuses. Tell me everything."

Irina glanced at her sisters, then spoke, voice low but steady. They'd followed Tenra's orders—at first. Even got advice from Katerea, who suggested whips and brainwashing, every method crueler than the last.

But the girls had suffered enough under Diodora's reign. They recoiled from such brutality—and Jeanne d'Arc was the reincarnation of Saint Joan. As former holy maidens, Irina's group worshipped her. They couldn't bring themselves to hurt their idol.

Jeanne saw it immediately. Whatever her past life, this Jeanne was no naïve saint—she was a Hero Faction witch, a master manipulator. She played on their admiration, spun stories, and argued circles around them. Before long, they'd freed her restraints and started serving her every whim.

Aside from being unable to leave, Jeanne's days were pure luxury.

Irina and the others flushed crimson, mortified.

Tenra's mouth twitched. He had to admit: Jeanne was good.

At least Irina's group hadn't betrayed him. They kept Jeanne from escaping, even if they treated her like royalty. Still, Tenra decided they'd need some "training" themselves. An enemy was an enemy—until she became a true ally, he couldn't afford to be soft.

"I get it. Some of this is on me for putting you in charge."

"But you made a mistake, and you'll pay for it. I'll deal with you later."

"Yes, Tenra-sama." Relief flickered across their faces; as long as he didn't kick them out, they'd accept any punishment.

Tenra turned to Jeanne, eyes cold. "Impressive, Jeanne. You fooled my entire household."

Jeanne tossed her hair, defiant. "Fooled? I'm their predecessor—Saint Joan's reincarnation!"

Tenra snorted. "Doesn't matter."

He leaned in. "Jeanne d'Arc, I'll ask you one more time. Will you submit?"

"Never! Don't think you can break me so easily!"

Stubborn to the core. He's already slept with me—what more can he do? I won't yield!

Tenra's lips curled in a wicked smile. "Good. If you gave in too quickly, where's the challenge?"

"Fine. I'll train you myself."

His eyes flashed. The Evil Eye activated, and his Time Domain spread, blanketing the room in a shimmering haze.

Jeanne's bravado faltered. "R-Red Dragon Emperor, what are you—?"

"What do you think? I'm going to make you mine—body and soul."

He grinned. "Don't worry. You'll remember this for the rest of your life."

"First, let's start with your body."

Tenra scooped Jeanne up and tossed her onto the bed.

She gasped, realization dawning—he wanted her again.

But before she could protest, Tenra was already moving, eyes burning with intent.

"Stop—stop—Red Dragon Emperor—!"

Her scream echoed, raw and helpless.
