Rodrey closed in on the moon elf mercenary.He had a skill that would allow him to see weak points in creatures as glowing parts.Using the skill wasn't necessary.The elf likely had similar biology to humans.
Slitting the throat would do the trick.Then he could make his escape and create his own warband in that large forest.Getting close to the moon elf he realised something was wrong though.His legendary level 1 passive skill Superhuman senses alerted him to the fact that the elf was about to strike him with its sword.
He could tell by the elf's facial expression and bodily muscle contractions that it had been acting.When the act started Rodrey had no idea and it was irrelevant.Rodrey halted as the moon elf's blade whizzed past his face by mere inches.
Rodrey tapped the elf on the wrist as he activated another skill.

Martin was a blur as he charged towards a settlement in the distance.His unstoppable momentum skill made it so that any obstacle he encountered shattered on impact from the sheer kinetic energy he was outputting.
The settlement was about the same size as the one he just escaped from.The only problem was that it was in a far off distance.No matter he would get to it in time.
Martin breathed heavily as he kept running with high speed and force.He was sweating profusely from the continuous use of his skill and stores of kinetic energy.
A rapidly approaching thudding sound entered Martin's ears.He turned his head briefly to see the source of the sound.
A large slender armoured lizardman with sabres was pursuing him.It was wearing green and black armour whilst wielding black sabres dripping with green liquid.
Despite Martin's skill enhanced speed the lizardman was rapidly closing the distance.Martin came to a rapid stop and turned.He threw a powerful punch and discharged some kinetic energy.
The lizardman slashed out with his sabres.Though he couldn't see the coming force there was still the displaced air as well as his instincts and allowed him to slash at the kinetic energy.

The sabres and kinetic energy collided but the lizardman wasn't even halted or pushed back as he powered through it.Martin's eyebrow arched as he witnessed this and he discharged some more kinetic energy.The lizardman powered through it easily and leapt high into the air.
Martin raised his arms to block as the lizardman cleaved down towards him with both sabres slashing down whilst also using its bodyweight and plummet to increase the force.
Shit.I don't know if I'll be able to absorb that much force at once.Though it also depends on how strong this creature is.
Martin's thoughts were immediately preoccupied with a new matter as what felt like the weight of a mountain descended on his forearms.Even though he absorbed some of the force the sabres cut into his arms and bit into the muscle.
The corrosive green venom dripping from the sabres entered his wounds.Martin grit his teeth and felt like panicking as the skin surrounding the wounds became red and sore and his forearm muscles became stiff.
Martin was about to retaliate but the lizardman had already changed positions.Martins vision was met with a sabre point for each eye.The lizardman lightly and leisurely thrust both sabres forward.The sabre tips collided with Martin's eyeballs but were stopped at their surface.
Even this human's eyeballs can absorb force and impact.What a strong ability.
The lizardman was stunned at the sight.Though he relaxed slightly as the venom from the blades dissolved into the human's eyeballs and made them implode.The human died shortly after likely due to venom.The lizardman observed the body dissolving and was pleasantly surprised by finding some drops.
Aside from blood essence crystals there was also a scroll.Girron the lizardman picked up the scroll and read its contents.This was good stuff.Very good stuff.Girron stored the drops away and returned to the mining settlement.
