Chapter 24 - Chapter Twenty-four:A quick Flashback; Part five, A little incident

We walked up towards the room and opened the door abruptly.

"What the". Linda obviously shocked and shaking commented.

We met Xavier strangling a little girl who had a bruised forehead and neck.

And the girl was none other than Camila ( the girl from Linda's room).

Note: I changed her name to Camila from Melissa.

"What are you doing to her!!!, let go of her". He stared at me and threw her on the floor, the little girl was left shaking.

"Woah!!, you really need an award brother, perfect timing!, this is exactly when the hero's supposed to come in". He took a quick peek at his watch.

Even though he was only thirteen, in his black suit, he looked so damn badass with his rapidly growing black hair.

Linda rushed in to support the girl and help her stand sit on the bed.

"Can you stop this your hero and villain arc and tell me, why the heck did you do that!!". I was already boiling within.

"Oh that, no need to worry". He waves his hand dismissively.

"Just a little misunderstanding, but I'm pretty sure it's settled now". He looked at her on the floor and smiled at me but his smile had a touch of craziness in it, cause there was no other way to describe a person who would smile after nearly k*ll*ng another.

"Misunderstanding', really a misunderstanding". He nodded.

"Yep, a misunderstanding, that's what I just said".

"HER Face was pale, she nearly died!!!, what the hell is wrong with you!!!". I screamed.

"Woah, I didn't even know that". He faked a shocked expression.

"What was this misunderstanding all about ". I muttered slowly trying not to lose it.

"Well all I needed was a little filth to help me with a foot rub".

That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

"But, you have servants who are willing to do almost anything for you".

"I'm not staying in the family house, Im staying in at a beach house".

"Oh, but you always take servants along with you wherever you go".

"You have a point there brother". He ruffled my hair with a smile.

Even though he was a year younger than me he was quite taller than I was, 3 inches taller to be precise, I was 5'1 and he was 5'4.

"Enough!, continue what you were saying". I shifted back a little.

The dashing smile on his face disappeared as he sighed,

"It's just that I wanted one of these worthless creatures to know what it feels like to work". His tone was laced with disgust.

"So you came all the way here from the beach around half a kilometer just to find 'the servant of the day".

"Nice one bro!". He laughed but I didn't, instead I stared at the floor.

Receiving absolutely no reactions from me, he stopped laughing and continued

"But not exactly, you see I've been in the research facility all day....

"The time hasn't even gotten up to 12:30". I interrupted.

"Really, I didn't even notice that". He chuckled awkwardly.

"Anyway, after I finished up at the lab, I headed here and I saw 'whatever that is' leaving her dorm". He points to Camila.

"I couldn't go to the male dorm since this was the closest to the gate". He explained.

Remember, there was a small inner gate between the research facility and the orphanage.

"I walked up to her and told her to follow me, but she refused ". He laughed maniacally.

"She freaking refused!, saying she was 'tired' because she just came back from a check up, like I cared".

"You dragged her into her room and strangled her". I clenched my fists as my blood boiled.

"No, no, no, no!!, what do you take me for?". I nearly heaved a sigh of relief.

*There must be more to the story*. I allowed him to proceed.

"I did way more than that, there was even a little crowd outside before I decided to take it inside ". He spoke like someone who did something worth a trophy.

*No wonder the hall was so quiet, what sort of a monster is this*. Linda stared at him, the exact way you stare at something or someone without a single shred of humanity.

"That'll definitely teach all of these filths to never defile the orders of the young master". His smile broadened, while flaunting his hair.

"That was splendid, wasn't it?". He asked.

My head still remained down, I refused to look at him, listening to him was even painful.

I couldn't believe we were both biologically related, sharing the same blood as him made me feel disgusted at myself.

"So what are you going to do to me now, Mr hero!?, I'm sure that what I did goes against your hundred laws of heroism right?".. He smiled again like we were acting a play.

"Where's that your heroine??". He searched around for Linda.

"Oh there she is, I wonder.....

"You psycho!". I straight up punched him.

"Bastard, scum". I kept on spilling all the cuss words I knew on him as I repeatedly punched him.

"I wish we weren't related!". I didn't stop, I couldn't even if I tried, my hands just moved on their own.

Linda quickly moved towards me in a fit to stop me, but I pushed her away and just continued .

The whole room went silent, the only noises heard were the sounds coming from my fists.

My fists soon turned bloody, but he didn't even flinch or move, he just stood there receiving every single punch.

I didn't know how long it lasted, it could have been minutes or just mere seconds, before I dropped my hands but....

Even after staring at his bruised up face, I still couldn't bear to apologize.

This wasn't the first time and certainly not the last time he had screwed up.

Xavier had a 'problem' when it came to people. Not just anyone but the people he thought was beneath him.

To him, his idealogy was that they were meant to bow down and worship him, grovelling beneath him feet.

For those who didn't comply with these 'standards' or rules, it wasn't taken so likely with them.

Now many of you might be wondering, he's just thirteen, there's no way in the world he could pull off anything threatening , right??.

But that was totally wrong, when he was only ten, he turned an empty room into what he called a punishment zone.

He sent ten maids into the room for three whole days without any food or water. And when asked the reason,he just gave flimsy excuses, "she didn't address me as young master", "she entered my room without knocking", for the most stupid reasons he locked them up.

And the most painful part was that he wasn't punished, Not even a scolding, because my parents never found out.

The maids were to scared to reply and it wasn't like my parents would even do anything about it.

Another instance of his "..." Was when he was eleven.

He sent his bodyguards to beat up a classmate of his, for accidentally stepping on him.

The poor boy had to go home that day with a black eye. He was pretty hurt but luckily didn't sustain any nasty injuries. The boy's mother later reported to the school but all she got was an apology.

Since the school was practically ran by my mother.

Immediately we were given access into the orphanage, he was overjoyed with the thought of having new specimens for his uncontrollable thirst to be worshipped and he truly kept to his words, by making sure he tortured some of these innocent souls and I just couldn't take it anymore.

Those punches was just a warning, I was re ..

"I heard some noises coming from over here, what's going on?". A guard walks in.

"Young masters!!!". He quickly lowered his head.

"What's... going on here??". He asked staring around the room, straight from me up to Xavier to Linda and all the way to Camila.

"We're just having a conversation". Xavier answered after a long moment of silence.

"But second young master, your face!!". His voice was soaked in dread.

"What happened to you?".

"I'm fine, like I just said we were only having a conversation". Xavier gave him a smile.

"But your ....

"I said I'm fine!!!!". He screamed.

"What part of we were only having a conversation didn't you understand ".

"I'm sorry, so sorry young master ". The guard quickly apologized totally terrified.

"Right brother? ". He threw the question at me.

I stared at my bloody fist and the blood on the floor before replying.

"This was just a warning brother, mom and dad might have been too busy to give you proper home training but I'm not, and even if it takes months, I'm going to beat it into you!". I held Linda and we went out of the room.

"Take her to the infirmary". I told the guard who nodded almost instantly.

"Yes young master".

I left with Linda after hearing that.

Meanwhile back at the room

"I guess it went according to plan". With a smirk, Camila muttered quietly, but Xavier heard her and gave her a thumbs up.

She smiles, in acknowledgement of the thumbs up.

While the guard who didn't notice anything led her to the infirmary.

"Proper home training, you say?". Xavier wondered staring at the floor filled with droplets of his own blood.
