I'm in". I spoke to Anthony over the receiver in my ear.
He had successfully taken me in, while he stared outside to watch if any guards were patrolling.
It was pretty strange that there wasn't a single guard patrolling outside the building.
Even with that I passed through the back door just to be safe,but as I opened the door and went in, it was eeriely quiet and there was another larger door in sight.
What if there wasn't anything bad happening in there?, What if I was just paranoid?, how do I explain to my dad that I was snooking around some research members?.
*It was too late to back down now*. I thought as I grabbed the door knob a little nervous.

"You insolent!, I am not a little child!". The girl's furious voice was heard.
"That little girl is.....
"I'm not a little girl!". She pouted interrupting Carlos.
"A demon lord of one of the strongest demon clans, this is just one of her many forms, she can even be a old lady in a sec". Carlos said totally ignored the girl.
"Demon Lords?, A clan?". Ed questioned.
"She's out only ticket to gaining more information on the demons and their hierarchy ". Mark added.
"But until your research proves fruitful, my lips are sealed". The girl continued.
"And I have a name Hana, not little girl!".
"Anyway I'd like to continue from where max stopped ". She added.
"You see, there's actually a third party max forgot to add".
"Huh?". Rui asked.
"Demon pacts!". She replied.
"This alliance has been on for over four years yet some of you here don't know so much on it, I'm curious as to why?". She asked not elaborating on the earlier statement.
"Well, that's actually true". Carlos couldn't find a better answer.
"It's actually very easy, you're all half breeds". She answered.
"Half breeds, demon pacts, demon clans?, do you know anything on these topics?". Carlos asked Max.
"Yes.....
"Yes he does,but I just feel like doing all the talking".
"A demon pact is similar to a human vessels, but this is more willing, an alliance wasformed by a demon and a human, the demon lends it's power for something in return". Hana explained.
"More willing in what way?". Carlos asked.
"Well, normally a human vessel has no choice but to comply, except in two other scenarios...
"Which are?". Carlos interrupted her getting more and more intrigued.
"First of all when a human body merges with a demon, their souls collide and only one survives".
"Huh?". Rui was dumbfounded.
"How do I explain this to your dumb brain?". Hana wondered .
"I'm not dumb!".
"Okay got it". Ignoring Rui, she said.
"It's just like a human with a house, then a demon comes to your home
"First case scenario; you chase the demon out, or you chase the demon while stealing it's properties....
"What you're trying to say is killing the demon, while taking it's powers without any harm befalling you?". Rui asked.
"Yes that is possible for some exceptionally rare humans, but most cases the human loses something ". Hana responded.
"What?". Ed asked.
"Their memories up until the day they become demons get wiped"
"Huh?". Rui exclaimed.
"Yep". Hana nodded.
"Second case scenario; the human loses and the demon takes control of the home".
"Doesn't the demon earn anything extra?". Rui asked.
"What does the human have to offer". Rui began silent.
"Except the human does have something special maybe IQ ". Hana pondered.
"What does a demon want with intelligence?". Rui laughed.
"Well, not to be like a brainless zombie, after all demons require a human vessel with enough intelligence for them to be able to speak, think and act ".
"That's why some demons act without precision, not because they are normally like that but because the human vessel is too weak minded". Hana explained.
"Oh". Rui nodded seeming to understand.
"What about the third case scenario?". Carlos asked.
"Third case scenario, they both coexist in the house, together sharing resources, but this is the rarest case and it's almost like a pact". Hana responded.
"Let me tell you guys a secret or two, since Max said he's done with the research on creating demons, I could spare some details on demons, aren't you guys intrigued?". Hana asked with a smile.
"That should be when Max's done with his explanation, I'm still trying to grasp the whole process of creating demons ". Rui pleaded.
"Okay Max, please continue on your research and why this meeting was called". Zayne said and Max nodded.
"Okay then... Well I've already spoken on all three kinds of blood used in creating a vessel....
"Does that mean by injecting all three kinds of blood, Anyone can be turned into a human vessel?". Rui asked.
"Of course not!, the person would simply die,that's why researches are needed, even with the research, not all bodies can hand or become a demon vessel ". Max explained.

Xavier POV
" Where are my parents". I asked the closest person I saw when I entered the research facility.
"Greetings young master, he's currently having a meeting on the fifth floor". The staff member replied.
"Got it". I nodded and headed straight up to the fifth floor.
I walked into an elevator with a little black box in hand.
"Do you have authorized permission to be here". A guard asked me as soon as I appeared on the fifth floor.
He stood close to the elevator, there was also seven other guards stationed around the fifth floor.
"Yes I do". I showed him a green card and he nodded.
"Why are you here?". He asked.
"If you must know, I came to find my parents". I frowned while answering.
*How dare you interrogate me, you worthless dog*.
"They're currently in a meeting". He said pointing towards a meeting room surrounded by guards.
"Well then, I'll wait for them in that room". I pointed to a room close to the meeting room.
"Unauthorized personnel are not allowed in there, s.....
"I have a green card, meaning I can go wherever I want on this floor". I interrupted him, my frown deepening.
"Okay then, but don't try any funny business ". The guard warily agreed.
"Excuse you?!". I scoffs as he wasn't worth the effort.
I walked into the room.
*There should be cctv cameras everywhere, I should be careful*. I thought as I stared around the room.
It was just a plain looking room, but it was packed with cabinets filled with different kinds of demon bloods.
I smiled and looked at the little black box in my hand.
*I refuse to be a pawn, working hard to make sure my brother's hand remains untainted isn't how I plan to spend my time*. I frowned at the mention of my brother, as I opened the box.
