The screen flickered, purple light flooding the frame.
Gothic architecture rose from beneath the stage—stone columns, wrought iron gates, a massive chandelier dripping with crystal. Behind it, a projected full moon bathed everything in silver-blue light.
Nine figures stood frozen in a tableau, arranged like a painting. Capes billowed from hidden fans beneath the stage.
Sejin stepped forward first. His costume was immaculate—black velvet coat with silver embroidery, high collar framing his face. Pale foundation made his skin glow against the dark fabric. Red contact lenses caught the light.
He looked elegant. Ethereal, almost.
"Red moon rising, curtains drawn—
Step inside before the dawn."
His voice was smooth. Inviting. The kind of tone that made you lean closer despite every instinct screaming danger.
The choreography began—slow, deliberate movements. Waltz-inspired but modern. Sharp isolations contrasting with flowing gestures.
Haejun emerged from the shadows behind Sejin.
