Emily slowly exhaled. For one thing, Melissa was right, and she had no room to argue that.

"Emily, you don't have to look at all these problems as though they are enormous mountains that you can never climb."
Emily turned toward her with weary eyes. "And what if they are?" she asked softly. "What if they really are mountains too high for me to conquer?"
