Chapter 142 - Cap.129 - Tame

The spear was cold in Ringo's hand, the soul of the Void dragon was still feared Ames by his side. Perhaps if he asked Ames for help, the spear would likely sign the soul's contract with him, but he wouldn't do that. He could use the spear's functions, but the spear would still have the independence to hinder him, such as locking onto the wrong target, interfering with the energy flow, or even causing an energy backlash at a critical moment, probably leading to the death of a clone or Ringo himself.

Thus, Ringo was not ready to use Ames' help, instead, he went straight into Nightmare form.

Ames looked at Ringo curiously, looking intently at Ringo's Nightmare form with curiosity, with violet skin, black hair and eyes seemed like an emptiness filled with stars, like a galaxy.

Ringo would first brandish the staff, and then a Nightmare Blade struck the Void Dragon's soul directly, causing it to scream in pain. The next moment, Ringo didn't stop, instead, he channeled nightmare energy down upon it, preventing the Dragon from drawing energy from the void.

The entire surrounding area became condensed into a dark purplish spiritual energy. Ames didn't even move away, nor did she care that her hall was suffering collateral damage, but observed everything with curiosity.

The Void Dragon's soul was constantly damaged and Ringo even absorbed some of the escaping fragments, in any case, his evolutionary energy could heal it in the future. For now, the important thing was to make his point.

The dragon tried to fight, but unfortunately most of the void species were not versed in the soul and mind attribute, so its attacks barely affected Ringo. In the end, the dragon's soul shrank considerably and became sparse before the dragon finally begged for mercy.

Ringo scoffed, but fearing to shatter the soul of the void dragon, which would be completely counterproductive, he stopped.

Ringo's spiritual form took shape in front of the enormous Void Dragon, he resembled an ant next to an elephant. What was impressive was knowing that the Void Dragon was twice the size before the fight even began.

-Submit or die.- Ringo's voice was simple and cold, leaving no room for doubt.

The dragon of the void gazed at the spiritual representation of Ringo, its eyes filled with fury and wounded pride, but in the end, it lowered its head.

Ringo knew this was only the beginning, if he kept the Void Dragon like this, it could still stab him in the back, so he needed to resolve this as quickly as possible.

The next moment, when the contract was signed and Ringo felt the connection between them, transforming this weapon into a weapon truly his own, he smiled, then began sending evolutionary energy to the Void Dragon.

Above the dragon's shocked eyes, the whitish energy began to heal it, not only that, but its degraded strength began to slowly be restored!

-You feel it, don't you?! Stay by my side and in the future, it's not impossible for you to roar again in your physical form across this galaxy.- Ringo promised.

The Void Dragon, sensing the improvement, looked at Ringo with evident interest. The anger and hatred within it were slowly dying, after all, it was a dragon, fighting was very common. Now Ringo had already shown the benefits and feeling this miraculous power within itself, the dragon felt that following Ringo was a very good option.

A roar sounded again, lower and less irritating, the dragon approached Ringo, who placed his hand on it, in the next moment, he felt that his control over the weapon had reached a new level, if before he could use it with ease, now even if he wasn't touching the weapon, he could still control it.

A smile crossed his lips, just as he expected from a soul weapon, there were stages to unlocking its full potential. He had no way of knowing if he had unlocked it all, but at the very least, the improvement was evident.

Emerging from the mental world of the Void Dragon, Ringo opened his eyes as he returned to his human form.

Holding the spear, he released it as it floated slowly beside him.

With a simple thought, the spear began to spin around him, he looked ahead and the spear flew at high speed directly towards the white pillar, piercing through it.

Observing the power, Ringo smiled, but when he heard an amused cough beside him, he froze.

Turning his head slowly and seeing Ames smiling amusedly, then glancing at the pierced pillar out of the corner of his eye, he smiled weakly. - Oops?

Ames snorted, not caring about the pillar, more amused than annoyed. -How are you?

-Great!- Ringo exclaimed excitedly. The next moment, he opened his hand and the spear flew directly into it. He felt he could now even make it enter the void to reach his hand more quickly.

Ringo offered the spear to Ames, leaving her to investigate for herself.

Ames looked at it curiously, taking the spear from Ringo's hand. The spear groaned slightly in her hand. The spear felt heavy as soon as someone else touched it, but Ames' strength far surpassed any weight the spear could exert. Ames released some energy from the void and the spear vibrated, animated.

Ames snorted with amusement before tossing it back to Ringo. -It's pretty, but it's a shame that if I use any more force, this thing will break like a toothpick.

Ringo wanted to roll his eyes, thinking: "You're a Grade S, okay? Most things are like paper to you", but he still didn't say anything.

Ringo picked up the spear again, he had learned to use a spear from Li, so he soon began practicing with it. His movements were quick and fluid: parrying, thrusting, swinging...

The energy of the void seemed to make space ripple wherever the spear passed, further accelerating the movement, anyone below Grade A wouldn't even know how they died.

When he finally stopped, Ames was still watching with interest and she couldn't help but ask. -What name are you going to give it?

Ringo paused for a moment before speaking...
