It turns out that fusing the flames with evolutionary power was much more difficult than expected.
The demonic flames represented destruction, his evolutionary energy represented progress, even when it regressed, it was just like taking a different direction.
The demonic flames, on the other hand, were completely different, they didn't follow any direction, destroying everything equally.
His power couldn't merge with them at all!
Black flames burned in one of his hands while the other shimmered with a milky white energy, the evolutionary energy didn't even have room to try and influence it before being destroyed by the demonic flame.
Without a 'body' as a base, evolutionary energy with a neutral attribute is very weak.
It wasn't that evolutionary energy was inferior to demonic flames, it was simply a matter of function. Demonic flames acted to destroy everything around them, while evolutionary energy acted on life to enhance it. Without 'life' as a basis, evolutionary energy was merely a source of bright light.
In the end, Ringo's plan to fuse evolutionary energy with demonic flames failed miserably, he could only leave it aside for now, letting out an exasperated sigh.
Since he didn't know how Tolaen used that 'forbidden spell', he couldn't have guessed on his own, the name wouldn't be forbidden if it were easy to use.
Tolaen was the first person he saw using it, he even sent a message to Wilsander, but although the man knew about this 'spell', he had no idea how to use it.
He wasn't a pure demon and hadn't grown up with demons, so he had no idea about the secret abilities of that race.
That was a shame.
Ringo let that go after realizing that if he couldn't learn it now, it didn't mean he couldn't in the future, he just needed to find the information.
Knowing there was no reason to continue, he simply refilled his MCs with Chi, his ship cruising calmly through the desolate belt, in a few days he could reach the next gate.
Thinking about his target, Ringo frowned slightly, this would be dangerous, but he wouldn't stop because of that.
Thousand Shadows... Ringo just hopes this guy will be enough to put pressure on him without killing him outright.

At Trihexa, Hila sat cross-legged in a sealed training room, dressed in light clothing, the sphere containing her armor sat beside her, occasionally emitting a sinister energy.
Hila herself was radiating an incredibly dense death energy, a reddish aura poured continuously from her body, causing her red hair to float as if caught in a breeze.
She was in high spirits at that moment, having sensed that she had once again reached a bottleneck, or rather, the point where her genes had begun to undergo transformation.
If Ringo were there, he could simply help her break through in one go, she would have reached Grade A in no time.
Unfortunately, Ringo had left in search of his own breakthrough opportunity.
She desperately wanted to catch up to Ringo, so the knowledge that he might advance even further, perhaps reaching the same level as Ames before she even hit Grade A, left a bitter taste in her mouth.
Sadly, her talent didn't quite match Ringo's.
She was slow, far too slow!
If any other Super in the galaxy knew it had taken her only a few years to go from Grade E to Grade A, they would have cursed her out in frustration.
Slow? That's slow?
Damn it, they would have killed to be that "slow"!
Unfortunately, Hila measured her speed against Ringo's, so she was never truly satisfied.
Even so, having initiated her breakthrough, Hila knew she would reach Grade A within a few months at most.
Although she was far from Ringo, having lived in the universal society long enough, she knew that anyone below Grade A was merely cannon fodder.
At Grade A, she could finally be considered, at the very least, a heavyweight player in the galaxy.
Her excitement was palpable.
-No, I can't just sit here waiting for the breakthrough to happen, that would be too slow. I need to speed things up.- Hila furrowed her brows as she made a decision, she grabbed her armor, equipped it with a mental command, and then left the training room.
She could accelerate her advancement, she just needed souls.
Lots of souls!
As soon as she appeared in the command center, she saw Rick playing Wayne Cards with Trax and Korak, Slugcat was swaying gently on Korak's shoulder, clearly having a good time as well.
-We're heading out. - She said.
The group was stunned. They had just plotted a course back to the Floating Dragon after finishing a mission, what did she mean by "we're heading out"?
-Where to?- Rick asked, confused.
-That mission involving the Nurians? Is it still active?- Hila asked after a moment's thought.
Rick's face turned green. Nurians were extremely ugly, they looked like fat amoebas, and he didn't want to get anywhere near them.
-Commander...- Rick began.
-It is.- Vanessa suddenly approached from behind, a door sliding open to the right as she entered, looking at Hila with curiosity. -The mission to deal with the scaly plague, right? It's active.
-Good, accept it. We're going there.- Hila nodded.
Rick groaned but didn't complain much.
The problem with the scaly plague wasn't really dealing with the disease itself, but with those infected by it. An outbreak had ravaged the Nurian homeworld, affecting more than half of the planet's lifeforms, the infected turned into mindless, bloodthirsty beasts.
Although an antidote existed, there was no cure once the transformation was complete, it was no different from a zombie plague.
Consequently, the Nurians had requested mercenary help to deal with the infected.
Hila hadn't cared about it at first, but she needed souls, so it was a perfect place to harvest them. As soon as the news reached the players, they erupted with excitement.
A break? Does that give XP? They quickly readied their weapons, these guys were true war junkies.
