Slowly sipping a light blue liquid, from a pear shaped glass, Maradi waves her hand and makes her way outside. Bidding all of her people and the kids goodbye, she makes her way back above ground, stopping by the lake along the way as she goes, Maradi sees the old man again. Who looks as her as she takes a seat next to him along side the ground.
"It's a shame your leaving already but I know up there you do a lot for them."
Pulling out a small square tablet of purpleShutter Stone, the old man angles it with his right hand up to the sky. Peering through it as the glare from within it reflects to his eye, showing a hint of black at it's core.
"So tell me … have you found another clue of where Xander went? Or are things still the same?"
After a long pause of silence, Maradi puts her hands together and gives a name.
"Iramo … I found a boy who's not Xander but is a key to this fight. He came from the stars and he's survived the Devion's Den. Once he's awakened, he'll be reckless, dangerous, and seen as a threat to them. But that disturbance might be all we need to tip the scale."
Creating a image through the light she shows, Iramo laying in bed.
"If we can get him in peak condition and eventually on our side, he'll make the difference Jadar … of whether our world survives or dies."
Looking closely at him and observing his purple hair, Jadar calmly raises his left hand, pointing to the boys eyes as he sees them quickly flickering around in his head.
"He doesn't look impressive but you say he made it through The Den alive. If he's that strong he might even lead us to her, I understand your plan. But be sure to conceal his power until the time is right. If The Frozen Phoenix discovers him early — she will not hesitate to strike."
Pulling back his sleeve with his other hand, Jadar shows his skin and the deep teeth shaped scar imprinted into his arm.
"Even if he's a monster, one wrong move and he's gone. So when you get up there guide him, teach him, make him fit into our way. He'll still climb his way to the top if he's as strong as you say and when he does — we'll deal with her … in our own way."
Taking a stand as he puts down his hands down covering his scar, Jadar feels the wind funneling down, blowing a gentle breeze throughout the town. Extending his hand out to Maradi, he picks her up off the ground.
"Your not light anymore, I don't know if I can do that again."
Looking at him as she begins to float in the air, Maradi get back at the old man.
"You think your funny huh? Good luck getting you band back then!"
She spins it on her finger and throws it into the lake as she takes to the skies laughing, as she hears Jadar curses at her from the ground.
"You damn brat, you better bring me something nice next time!"
Watching the trail of light Maradi left behind fade away Jadar shakes his head as he dives head first into the lake and she enters the sky. Flying through the lower zones, Maradi thinks hard as she slowly makes her way to the top, doing laps in the sky. Admiring the beauty in the freedom to fly.
That was up until he came before her, brooding in the sky. A orange hair man, with a flat fitting golden mask and a long jagged scar coming up his hand and under his right eye.
"Get your ass in the building we've spent the entire flip looking for you!"
Refusing to acknowledge his presence directly, Maradi dismisses him with a wave of her hand.
"I left a message already Daison, if you missed it that's on you."
Bawling his hand up into a fist, Daison takes a calm tone as he hover closer her way.
"Listen don't be that way, we're all gathering for the update today. So play nice-"
Increasing the pressure around her in the air, Maradi skin begins to shine brightly glimmering with light from head to toe.
"Unless she's asking for me directly, I don't owe any of you my time so don't push your luck. Overstep your boundaries again Daison and I'll add to your scars."
Flying off at the speed of light towards the capital room she arrives in an instance leaving only a mirage behind. One that looks down at Daison's face erupting into pure fury as he makes his way back. Gathering on one of the six ledges each Independent Asset came to place their hand on a door with strange marking extending from each side. Pouring animus into it steadily as the building began violently shake and runes appear across the ground.
Levitating the entire settlement, layer by layer off the ground and into the sky. The doors began to open as the building reached the peak of the sky. Each one of them stepping forward making their way inside. Meet by an older woman sitting in the center of the ever expanding room on a crimson throne. Shrouded in thick mist rotating around her body, covering all but her cold, unwavering eyes.
"I have much to ask of you and we have little time. The Meltdown is coming and we must take to the stars. That begin said we need more power and with the recent losses the separation has made us weak. So we'll host a Crusaders Event open to every zone and use the participants to cover more ground."
"Those who survive will join us and those who quit will return to supply. Regardless of where they come from those who are of use will be given a chance to leave this place and those who fail will be left behind."
Rising to her feet she takes on a commanding tone and releases a wave of powerful animus into the sky.
"And let me be clear, those who defy us at this critical time — will be captured and drained of all their time. That is all. You may all leave and wait for your orders, it will soon be time."
The strongest have gathered but for what this time? Even if you knew the answer, do you think you could stop it in time?
