Cementing his set at front of stage, Iramo freed the compacted winds from the fist and let them disperse across the sky as a free forming sea of clouds released from the palm of that hand. Creating a thick mist around them as he adjusted his hands firmly holding Saranai and keeping them hidden in the sky, He takes a low stance on the edge of its thumb. Preparing to flick both him and Saranai, at an angle the rest of the way down to the ground.
Briefly turning to her as he cradles her in his arms, close to his chest Iramo making a cheeky face, smiling as he commands the hand, getting it into position without making a sound.
"Saranai? You can get me back later but get ready to fly!"
Looking up at him too terrified to look back at the ground, Saranai furrows her brow and tightly wraps her arms around his back.
"After all this you'll get more than just a smack! You'll be lucky to be aliVEEEEEEE!"
Cutting her words short as he sent them spiraling towards the ground in a ball of clouds filled with animus, slowly pulling away layer by layer peels and sticking to the sky. Leaving behind a thin center radiating with animus, expanding outward into the shapes of leaves. Folding one over the other, side by side. Iramo created a beautiful flower blossoming with them inside to slowly carry them down from the sky. One resembling a breath taking flower, he'd only caught a glimpse of on way to the ground.
Should I be able to keep my cool, we're bound to make it to this ground. This is so exciting! I can't wait to get down to the ground and explore the place.
Looking down at Saranai with a smile, Iramo felt a way of relief pass over his mind.
"I told you we'd make it and we're here for real this time. I know your scared but I promise it's okay to open your eyes. We will land safely with the wind as our guide. Somewhere below the higher parts but we did make it inside."
Raising her head into the winds calm, Saranai extends her foot searching for solid ground. Only to find something new in its place. A state of being to soft for land yet too dense for air. And it was no liquid so naturally Saranai wondered just what was it now? As she opened her eye. Seeing every inch of her home from of the sky, for the very first.
"It's beautiful… So this is what they see from their floating palace all the time."
Feeling the fatigue hit him all at once Iramo, throws himself onto his back, letting the soft cloud ease his pain. Unknowingly bringing Saranai down on top of him as he still held her in his arms from pure instinct alone. Bringing her mind back to the task at hand.
"Once we land we need to go west and find a back without you getting seen but judging from the crowd that will be pretty hard to do. And it's all because you DROPPED ME FROM THE SKY! WHY YOU!"
Swinging her hand down hard she slaps him in the face over and over again. Shaking the cloud up and down as it swayed side to side.
"I. CAN'T. BELIEVE. YOU. LET. ME. FALL!"
Laid out with light bruises on his face, Iramo grabs onto Saranai hands, holding her by the wrist as he begs for mercy. Looking her straight in her eyes.
"You said when we land, at least wait until we're on the ground!"
Staring at him with false rage, Saranai's gaze softened with each passing moment she stared into the swirling sea of black and purple around the soft, dark blue center of his eyes. Making her lose both her train of thought and her nerve as she turned to look away, still sitting up on top of his chest.
"Okay… but when we get to my place, I'm gonna get you back!"
He's hurt anyways so it's really because of that.
Your not even convincing yourself, you gotta do better than that.
Laying with his arms hanging to his side Iramo wonders what she could possibly mean by that and begins to imagine. The scenarios for himself in his head. Most ending with her fist knocking him upside the head.
"Understood boss lady, No need to get violent again."
Blushing as she playfully punches him in his chest, Iramo feels a violent rush of pain flow through his body, forcing him to throw his head back and grits his teeth to endure the pain.
"Hey don't say it like that! People will get the wrong idea!"
With a stern look Saranai clenches her fist fainting rage while the soft look in her eyes exposes her lies.
"Until you learn to control your abilities, I'm not setting foot back in the air with you. I mean it!"
Rolling his eyes, Iramo turns his head to the side, only for Saranai to grab him by the face and make him look in to her eyes.
"Yes princess, your wish is my command! Can you please let me go and safely guide us to your home."
Letting go of his face and mushing it to the side, Saranai hears commotion from down below as the cloud finally lands on a building, sticking to its roof's spiral edge as people gather below. Both curious and wary of the strange cloud that fell from the sky. Passing whispers and rumors around the growing crowd of just what it might be.
"Do you think it's an enemy?"
"Impossible no enemy could enter unnoticed! Especially from above, the Sentreons would never allow it."
"What if it's an out worlder?!"
"Yeah! Or what if it's him returning to end us all!"
"What another one, no way! This has to be some rare change in the weather, is all!"
"Yea it must be! How else could a cloud fall out of the skies all the way down here in one piece!"
"The man in the clouds did it that's how! And who knows what's next!"
"The old man's right! Who knows what else he'll send down from the sky!"
Sitting up with excitement, Iramo giddily looks at Saranai's fidgeting with the band on her wrist. Watching as her face drops and takes on a serious tone as he sees a red glare in her eye.
"Soooo might not be the best time but when are we going down? Sounds like everyones excited to see us and I'd love to explore the town."
Seeing the soldiers slowly creeping forward through the crowd, Saranai covers her eyes with her left hand, placing a blue lens over her eyes.
"Not everyone. Come on, we gotta go."
Confused yet captivated, Iramo presses on with eyes full of wonder, determined to get Saranai to show him around.
"Huh? Why? We just got here? And look at how many people came to say hi. A few minutes won't hur-"
Annoyed with the request Saranai puts her finger on Iramo's lips, cutting him while shaking her head.
"Shush! Soldiers are coming and they don't exactly take well to people falling from the skies. Especially somebody who looks completely different falling down from the sky. They will think you're an Out Worlder and definitely not a friendly one. Now come on, we gotta go before they find us."
Slowly feeling out his range of motion as he rolls his shoulders, Iramo channeling his animus from deep within, slowly shaking the pain off as his hands become the wind.
"Hmm so it's not same right now. Don't worry about it then I've got a plan to get away, just climb onto my back and don't let go."
Forming a compact, needle shaped wind between his hands, the cloud spun faster and faster until it sucked all the wind in lifting the leaves up high.
"All you have to do is lead the way and I'll get us out of here boss lady, just the say the word."
Taking a deep pause, Saranai stares at Iramo considering their odds as she let's her mind wonder.
He's is dependable so if he says he's got a plan I trust him. I'll just have to watch his back just in case the strains too much on him and back him up however I can. He's in bad shape even if he tries to play it off, I know he can't last long.
Jumping up onto Iramo's back, Saranai puts her arms around his neck gripping tightly as he drops the wind and grabs onto her tights. Watching the cloud disperse the moment they we're pierced and expand into a surge of thick mist pouring out from all sides, spending the crowd into panic and the soldiers path.
Grabbing onto his right ear, Saranai press her lips gently up to his ear.
"You did great now! Now go as fast as you can! I'll be your eyes just- WATCH WHERE YOU PUT YOUR HANDS!"
Amidst the panic going on below, Iramo takes the opportunity to leap across the wind as the people run away blinded in panic. Making sure to not go up too high, he springs off of buildings along the way making his way from rooftop to rooftop and over their side. Weaving through the buildings as he carefully listened to Saranai for the next way.
"You're doing great! Keep going straight and then go right down to the river and don't stop until you reach the open fields past its end! Then once you're there, look for a big black tree. You can't miss it!"
BUSS A LEFT! BUSS A RIGHT!
Leaping through an open window to, Iramo darted across the room and leaped over the couch out the other window side, launching himself into the air and over the bend. Looking down at all the people as he holds onto Saranai, tightly gripping to make sure he doesn't let her go again while staring at the people below looking up in awe as he zips across the sky.
"You know, you're a lot lighter than you look."
Smacking him in the back of the head with quickness, Saranai's stared at him hard enough to bite off his head.
"You jerk! What kind of backhanded compliment is that?!"
She steadied her hands and tightened her grip around Iramo's neck as he tried to change the subject fast.
"Wait! Look the rivers up ahead! We're almost home, no need for violence!"
Seeing her band glow brown, Saranai's spares Iramo and quickly draws a pattern across her band.
"I'll deal with you when we get there! Just- hurry up! TheGolden Wing's unit is closing in and you don't want to deal with them right now in your current state!"
Excited to see what awaits ahead, Iramo ponders just what will awaits beyond the door when he first walks in.
I wonder the kind of look the room will have? How big would the beds be? And most importantly right now, I wonder what they to eat? I haven't had anything in so long that the last time I ate was in my dreams with dad.
Flicking directly in his ear Saranai calls him back to reality, kicking him in his side.
"Hey, Focus! They already on up on your sides! If they catch us now neither of us will get to go past the sky!"
Ducking his head quickly he narrowly avoided a golden, feather flying straight at his head and flip over the buildings railing, spotting the soldiers out the corner of his eye. Dressed in glimmering, yellow armor with wings extending from their back and feathers between their fingers rushing to his side.
Leaping to the river without hesitation Iramo throw himself out the sky and kicked off the winds going side to side. Narrowly avoiding the swarming feathers charging at him from every side, he charges down the river just steps above the clear, green water running fast as he can.
You know this is the perfect time to see if I can use fire too!
Focusing on the feeling of the flames he felt before, Iramo closed his eyes and opened his mind. Recreating their heat their flow he gave life to new flame filled, tiny clouds. Sprouting around him in the shape of flowers carried by the winds across the riverside, Slowly falling down until they reach the water and collide with the ground. Igniting the flames withing into pillars of fire tearing through the ground with a vigorous bang before the heat rapidly expands.
Burning the water away as it shoots water high into the sky, above the sea of mist and smoke spreading far down the river side. Shocking even Iramo when he opened his eyes.
"That… worked better than I thought but definitely helps the plan."
Looking back at the raging fires trapping soldiers and burning them up as the shock waves from the explosions tossing them on their side. Saranai looks at Iramo's back… seeing him not as a man but a miracle that came from the sky.
"Iramo-"
Interrupted by a massive explosion, the soldier cries echo across the water as reinforcements surround the river from the sides.
"He couldn't of got far spread out and cut him off at the end!"
Closing his eyes Iramo focuses on the lighting the flow of the power and the burst before the flash, leaving a massive bang behind and got an reckless, but and idea all the same.
"Wait? If the flames worked then I definitely can use lighting too! All I have to do is see myself going faster then never stop and as I am now, I'll be the last thing I do before I drop, but I don't care! I'll work this body like a DOG if it means I can do what I please! Just don't quit on me now body — not until we bring this world to its knees!"
Straining himself to his utmost limits every fiber in his body surges with animus as he becomes a blur in the distance, running half blind as blood vessels pop in his broken hands. Iramo grits down on his lip so hard it splits open as he releases all the power he has built up inside. Rocketing him, down the river in the blink of an eye. Bouncing off its edge and into the sky.
Going so fast Saranai can do nothing but put her head into his back as she tightens her grip on him. Wrapping her legs around him as they clear the river side in seconds crossing into the end of the zone, heading straight for the tree with no way to stop in time.
Knowing he can't stabilize in time, Iramo grabs onto Saranai, shielding her from the impact with his body as the impact came. Sending a fierce, rupturing pain shot up his spine, the moment his back touched down. Knocking the wind out of him and leaving his body slumps down to the ground, slips in and out of consciousness.
"Are you okay? Get up! Iramo! Iramo!"
